Epstein Survivor And Registered Republican Asks Donald Trump To Meet With Her: 'This Is Not A Hoax'

At a press briefing on Wednesday, Epstein survivor Haley Robson asked to meet with President Donald Trump to discuss the Epstein files.

00:21But I wanted to see first if you have questions for the lawyers and the survivors,

00:26and Brad will facilitate any of the questions to the survivors.

00:35The President has said that this Epstein issue is a hoax, is the word that he used.

00:41Can we get your reactions to what you think?

00:52Mr. President Donald J. Trump,

00:54I am a registered Republican, not that that matters, because this is not political.

00:58However, I cordially invite you to the Capitol to meet me in person so you can understand this is not a hoax.

01:03We are real human beings.

01:05This is real trauma.

01:07What does it feel like emotionally to hear that?

01:11It's being gutted from the inside out.

01:14Not that I would know what that feels like,

01:15but I imagine it's the anxiety buildup with the depression and the survival mode,

01:21and then your nervous system goes limp and, ironically, is shot,

01:25and it feels like you just want to explode inside because nobody, again,

01:30is understanding that this is a real situation.

01:33These women are real.

01:34We're here in person.

01:36To say that it's a hoax is just not...

01:37Please humanize us.

01:41I would like Donald J. Trump and every person in America and around the world to humanize us,

01:46to see us for who we are and to hear us for what we have to say.

01:50There is no hoax.

01:51The abuse was real.

01:52Now, what goes on behind closed doors, I can't speak for that.

01:56What happens around the world politically, I cannot speak for that.

01:59But I am here with all of these women, including our attorneys,

02:03and I would be more than happy to meet with him, and I will meet him halfway.
