00:00Some disconnection is always connected to your peace.
00:04Sounds backwards a little bit, right?
00:07But think about it.
00:09Sometimes the very thing you're clinging to like a lifeline is the anchor that's drowning you.
00:17See, peace don't always come dressed in harmony.
00:21Sometimes peace shows up wearing goodbye.
00:24Sometimes peace knocks on your door, but it sounds like silence.
00:30It looks like distance.
00:32It feels like loss.
00:34See, this is the problem when it comes to our pride.
00:38We think connection is always the cure.
00:40But what if it's the poison?
00:43What if the reason your mind won't rest is because you keep charging your soul with relationships that drain your battery?
00:54What if the thing you call loyalty is actually your insomnia?
00:59This connection isn't always rejection.
01:02Sometimes it's protection.
01:05God will pull plugs before you electrocute your own purpose.
01:10And I know part of you feels guilty for letting go like you abandoned somebody, like you betrayed something sacred.
01:19But sometimes holding on is the betrayal, betrayal of your boundaries, betrayal of your own sanity.
01:28Listen, don't get out here and confuse peace with comfort because peace sometimes feels uncomfortable at first, like detox, like surgery, like ripping out the weeds before you can see the garden.
01:43So if you've had to disconnect from them, from it, from who you used to be, don't second guess it.
