00:00Hello again everyone, and yet again I have had a long break between my reviews for the series.
00:06I do apologize for that, but I will talk more about that later.
00:10But speaking on this review, it should be a fairly short one,
00:14wrapping up what I would guess I would call the beginning saga of the series,
00:21because in the next video my personal favorite saga is going to start.
00:25So now, let's get back on track, and let's begin.
00:28Kiyo and Zash go out on the coast of England to test out their new spell,
00:32but get distracted when they hear a song in the distance.
00:36Zash goes to check it out, but gets surprise attacked by a new book holder,
00:41but once Kiyo explains that they are friendly, she has lunch with them.
00:45She introduces herself as Dijem, and tells them that she hates her Momoto, Yopopo,
00:52because he is the reason her parents got hurt,
00:56and that his dance has the ability to attract other Momotos.
01:00So another team found and attacked them.
01:03Now they have been on the run, trying to find that same team to get revenge on them,
01:08and that team soon arrives.
01:10They notice that Yopopo was gone, and we cut to him trying to fight the other team on his own,
01:17and we see him just get beaten down until Zash and Kiyo finally find him.
01:22And they proclaim that they will protect Dijem, just like him, so he can fight with all of his power.
01:29They blast the enemy Momoto with a spell, but it seems to do no damage to him.
01:35Kiyo, seeing that their attacks are not doing anything to it, decides to cast their force spell,
01:41but nothing happens, and it causes the other team to attack Dijem, managing to set Yopopo's book on fire.
01:49But Yopopo does not care, and keeps on fighting because he just wants to protect Dijem.
01:55So Kiyo, now feeling desperate, casts the force spell, Bao Zekarga.
02:01Which basically summons a huge lightning dragon, destroying the enemy Momoto's armor.
02:07Which opens them up for Dijem and Yopopo to finish them off.
02:12And then we get a tearful goodbye where Dijem thanks him for protecting her,
02:16and tells him that she loves him, as he fades away happily.
02:20Then seeing how down both of them are after what happened with Yopopo,
02:26Kiyo's father suggests that they go sightseeing.
02:29And while they are doing that, they somehow run into Kanchome,
02:33because Folgore is performing in the area.
02:36Kanchome challenges them again, but quickly tells them that he just wants to talk with him.
02:41They follow him to his hotel, and we get a funny movie parody of 007,
02:46but it's Folgore, so it's 00F, or OOF.
02:51Which is honestly great comedy there, I can't lie.
02:55But Kanchome tells them that Folgore is missing, and asks for their help to find him.
03:01They then walk around the city, using Zach to track where he's been.
03:06With Kiyo getting pissed because of how long it's taking,
03:10until he asks Kanchome if he said anything before he left.
03:14He said he was going to see a girl, which pisses him off even more,
03:18until they arrive at the hospital.
03:21They go around searching for him, and eventually find him.
03:24Kiyo chases him through the hospital, and even casts a spell at him, but he still manages to escape.
03:31They find the room he ran to, and see that he was here at the hospital,
03:36to visit a little girl who was a fan of his.
03:39He also bought toys and flowers and candy for all of the kids that were with her,
03:45so no one would feel left out.
03:46Kiyo seeing Folgore's true intentions begins to leave with Folgore stopping him,
03:52telling him to stay for his public concert, but Kiyo simply says he already got a great view of his performance.
03:59Ending it off with Kiyo telling him to survive, with him proclaiming that he will protect Contramate and see them again.
04:07Kiyo gets back to his father, and he shows him the reason he flew Kiyo over.
04:12He has a stone tablet that looks like it has a Mamoru inside it, with the lettering on it being similar to the spell books.
04:20And on top of that, it was found in ruins that date back over a thousand years ago, matching up with the last battle for the king.
04:27He gives Kiyo a photo so he can do his own research on it, but Kiyo has to quickly leave to go back to Japan.
04:35We get to all the friends they have made while they were here, seeing them off,
04:39with Zatch making a new friend with a strange looking horse.
04:44They quickly drive off, with the horse quickly getting a spell book from the bushes and runs after them.
04:52With us ending the chapter with Contramate being taken away in a circus car.
04:57So for the extras, we get a cover of Volume 6, which is Zatch and Kiyo walking in an English town.
05:04And the back of Volume 6 is Dijem and Yopapo dancing together.
05:09We get to see what seems like the first meeting of Yopapo and Dijem, with him looking at how her parents love her from outside a window.
05:19Chapter 49 has Zatch and Kiyo continuing their walk at the shore where they first tried to cast their fourth spell.
05:26Chapter 50 is just a single page spread of everyone.
05:30Chapter 51 is a colored single page spread of Zatch and Kiyo on a beach getting ready to fight the evil team that were hunting down Dijem and Yopapo.
05:40I also want to mention the great double page spread of them casting Bao for the first time.
05:47Chapter 52 just has Zatch and Kiyo relaxing while they're seeing the sights.
05:52And finally, Chapter 53 has a group shot of Kiyo and Zatch standing with Bulgore and Contramate.
05:59Alright, let's first talk about the opponent team for these chapters, Kikuropu and the British gentleman.
06:07There's not much to say about the British gentleman except that he was definitely evil attacking Dijem's family and had no qualms about hurting children.
06:17Then, Kikuropu was definitely the one carrying their team since he had such a strong body.
06:24Most of the early Momotos could not crack or even scratch his armor.
06:28Of course, like all the teams, I will be giving them their own video going more in depth about them.
06:34But for now, I have to say that they were decently strong for where they were in the story.
06:40Next is Dijem and Yopapo who had a nice short arc.
06:46They both were sweet characters with Yopapo being very memorable because of his name, how he looks, and how he dances.
06:54They were behind on their spells compared to the other Momotos we have seen only having two.
07:00And if they did survive past this point, I couldn't see them lasting that long in the fight to become king.
07:08Contramate and Fulgore came back into the story briefly with a nice heartwarming story of Fulgore visiting child fans in the hospital.
07:17And basically cementing them as an ally in the future.
07:21And the ending with Contramate being taken away in the circus truck will come back the next time we see them.
07:27Then finally, Zatch and Kiyo had two big developments with unlocking the fourth spell that basically one-shotted Kikuropu breaking his shell armor.
07:38And for the fans that have already read the whole story, they know how important this moment is.
07:44We also get an introductory mystery that will pertain to the next saga of the series with the stone tablets.
07:51And like I said before, this saga coming up is my favorite so I will try to get the videos out more often.
07:59And by the end we get introduced to a new character that will be a mainstay and a future ally.
08:05So that was about everything for this short review.
08:08The next video will be much longer and it will be introducing a fan favorite team to us.
