00:00Hey everyone, this is just going to be a short video discussing a short animation that I really
00:05like, Mr. Indifferent. I'll of course be looking over the art and animation and the message behind
00:12it. So let's get into it. We start off with, I guess I'll call him Mr. Not holding the elevator
00:19door open for someone else in the apartment. In bird culture, this is considered a dick move.
00:25Then as he is walking, a little girl loses her balloon and he just passes by it when
00:30he could have easily grabbed it. And while he is still walking, a guy's grocery cart starts
00:37to roll away from him towards Mr. and he just moves out of the way. And he walks past a
00:45woman
00:45handing out flyers for cleaning up the beach, which I can't blame him for. I also do things
00:51like that because for me it's usually religious flyers. Then when he is at a crosswalk, an
00:58old woman grabs his arm so he can help her cross. And while doing so, the light changes
01:04with the car speeding down the street and he sees it coming, instinctively holding his
01:09hand out with the car luckily stopping. Finally getting to the other side, the old woman thanks
01:15him as we cut to him getting back to his house, reminiscing on what happened. And we time skip
01:21a bit through his life, showing that he is now helping others out, and even cleaning up
01:26the beach. With him then seeing a man that looked like he used to, with his hands buried
01:32in his pockets. And he comes up with an idea to fake being blind so he can help him cross
01:38the street. So first, when I check the official website for the film, we get a bit of a backstory
01:45on Mr. and it's that he is a businessman who is always in a rush and was just reluctant
01:51to help others. I personally think he is an extreme introvert, not wanting to take action
01:58or interact with other people unless necessary. With us seeing this at the start of the film,
02:03with him looking stressed seeing the woman coming, digging his hands further into his pockets,
02:09and then ignoring every other situation where he could have helped someone. Of course, that
02:15is until he was basically forced to interact with someone being the old woman. And because
02:20of him not wanting to take action, he just let it happen. And it takes a deadly situation
02:27for him to finally take his hands out of his pockets, forcing him to take action. And in
02:33doing so, protected himself and the old woman. And her thanking him made him feel good afterwards,
02:39making him reflect on the experience when he got home. With that event making him more comfortable
02:46with taking action, seeing him go through the same situations, and him actually reaching his hand out
02:52helping others. With him even signing up for cleaning the beach, which spurred him on to do even more
02:59volunteer work. Like looking after children, giving blood donations, and helping at the old folks home.
03:06With him even looking brighter than ever, wearing a light blue shirt instead of his more muted business
03:12attire. And him then seeing a man that may be similar to how he was, so he pretends to be
03:19a blind man,
03:20hoping to give the push he got from helping the old woman. Trying to pass on a good deed to
03:27make the world
03:27just a bit brighter. Now, to get a bit personal, I myself am a pretty introverted person. But I would
03:35have never done the things he did, since I was raised to help people out, you know, whenever you can.
03:42I haven't done volunteer work though, and I am not going to say that you guys should either, because
03:48that is your own choice. But what I will say is that you should help when it's no real inconvenience
03:56for
03:56you. Like holding the door open for someone that is carrying a bunch of items. Or offering to help
04:02an older person if you see them carrying something heavy. Or something as small as if you see somebody
04:08drop something on the ground, pick it up and give it back to them. You know, stuff that's not that
04:14major. I hope you all enjoyed me analyzing this short animation, and I would like to know what you
04:19guys thought about it. And before you go, please like the video and subscribe if you want to see
04:24more stuff from me. I hope this video brightened up your day a little, and I guess I will see
04:29you
04:29guys later. Bye guys.
