00:00Walker Buehler started out with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
00:02Whoa, looks like we have our next Clayton Kershaw.
00:04This guy's going to be here for 15 years and dominate.
00:06Arm injuries, you know, availability in check.
00:09Goes to Boston, starts pitching okay, then blows up, gets cut.
00:12The Philadelphia Phillies actually signed Walker Buehler because why?
00:15They need a little bit of help and some depth in the rotation for the month of September.
00:18He heads to the Phillies with a 545 ERA.
00:22This isn't the Walker Buehler that we think you're getting there from the Los Angeles Dodgers days,
00:26but maybe he can help with a couple extra innings to save some of those arms before the playoffs begin, Joe.
00:31Well, to me, that's what this is all about, Donnie, right?
00:33It's about being able to eat up some innings in the final three and a half weeks of the regular season here, get to use them.
00:42I'm kind of shocked that the Red Sox just let them walk away like they did
00:47because it's not like the Red Sox aren't in a battle for a postseason berth.
00:50And, yeah, they could absolutely use him as a buffer to maybe not throw as many innings for Crochet or some of these other guys.
01:00You know, I'm shocked they let them walk because he's going to do exactly for the Phillies what he could have done for the Red Sox.
