01:28Aabria, tell me why you love dice games so much. I love dice so much because they help
01:32me tell stories even though they personally fucking hate me. Please let me roll above a
01:37three ever. Now, before we play a game, I gotta read some rules!
01:43First up in Liar's Dice, a favorite of pirates everywhere, players roll dice and wager on
01:53the results. Each player has a pool of five dice, but in our game we're playing with four
01:57because at the beginning of a round, we'll all roll our dice privately, peeking at but
02:03not sharing these results. Then, the first player makes a bid. They estimate a number
02:14of die faces across all dice rolled. For instance, four threes or two fives. But in our game,
02:21you gotta say it like a pirate. Each subsequent player has a choice. They can challenge the active
02:28bid by screaming Liar in their face and everyone will reveal their dice. If the dice revealed
02:35at least the number of faces the player bid, the challenger loses a die from their personal
02:39pool. Otherwise, the bidder loses the die. The active player could choose to raise the
02:46bid. Raising continues around the circle until someone calls Liar and the dice are revealed.
02:52Once a player loses all their dice, they are eliminated from the game and the last player
02:56standing wins. Any pirate jokes, any booty shaking? Shake it for my episode. Let's do this.

23:48Players roll dice and push their luck for optimal point scoring opportunities.
23:53On their turn, the active player is gonna take six D6s and roll them.
23:58They have to set aside scoring dice and continue to score with dice until they reach at least
24:04500 points to get on the board.
24:07The first player to get to 10,000 is the winner.
24:11Now, dice can score in many different ways.
24:14A single one can net you 100 points.
24:17You can set it aside and keep rolling the rest.
24:20A five by itself scores you 50 points.

24:25There's three of a kinds rolled on a single roll.
24:28They're worth hundreds of points times the number on the die.
