00:00:41bring us today we are playing thirsty sword lesbians specifically a homebrew
00:00:48setting that I've created titled got a secret that's right we dare to do a
00:00:56one-shot TTRPG right here on dropout and even to fill the table with GMs taking
00:01:04the night off Sefi can you help me introduce these three other players you
00:01:09don't know him you don't love him Brennan Lee Mulligan don't oh my gosh it's a
00:01:15pleasure to be here thanks for having me the incredible the goddess leave

00:01:35Sefi tell us why thirsty sword lesbian specifically thirsty sword and lesbian do I
00:01:43need to clarify any more nope we got it yeah we'll see whether our thirsts are
00:01:48quenched today but first I must do what I do best read rules from a teleprompter
00:01:54in thirsty sword lesbians players tell stories of dashing queers with a bit of
00:02:03swashbuckling and a whole lot of melodrama one player takes the mantle of gay master
00:02:08the narrator and exposition giver for the session the other players all play an ensemble of
00:02:13characters based on the scenario thirsty sword lesbians is built around be powered by the
00:02:18apocalypse system a narrative gameplay framework that provides players with moves most of the time
00:02:25we'll be narrating the game in casual conversation but when players want to affect the story they'll
00:02:30need to employ a move moves are resolved by rolling two six-sided dice and adding any modifiers
00:02:36usually based on their five core stats daring grace heart wit and spirit a rule of 10 or more is a
00:02:43success known as an upbeat a six or below results in a downbeat and a 79 is a mixed beat or a success
00:02:50at a cost where players must select an additional negative outcome as the price of success all outcomes
00:02:57continue to move the story forward but the type of beat will change the resulting consequences characters
00:03:03can also gain narrative strings emotional influence over another person this could be the affection of
00:03:09a friend or lover or it could be blackmail material but enough of the rules let's get to the game

00:03:19welcome to crabtree massachusetts this sleepy little town is a place all of you have spent some time in
00:03:31whether most of your lives or just a few years however it's been some time since you've been back
00:03:39because well after high school life goes on but it is time now to return for mary milkhauser's annual
00:03:49slumber party everyone here knows who mary milkhauser is she and her cousin susan milkhauser and her ex-boyfriend
00:04:00gary crabtree of the crabtree crabtree crabtree ruled the school and even if they hadn't it would be hard
00:04:09pressed not to know who mary is because the popping of her lip gloss and the running of her mouth
00:04:14raged across the school
00:04:16so she'd be housing that milk they do be housing i was there's also the flap of her knockers
00:04:25swaying i could not tell you what color her eyes are were a heels ladder or the smack of her tits
00:04:31outside of a broad we do not know however she became close to all of you when something happened
00:04:37an incident one that took away the lives of her two closest compatriots now two years later you are
00:04:46here to come together after going to colleges getting different jobs leaving this tiny town

00:05:37natasha is an artist in every sense of the word uh you see paint beneath her fingernails
00:05:50and yet dressed to the nines um in flowy garb with jingling bangles and um tight blonde curls
00:06:01uh light skin with some freckles and um just general adorableness is the vibe um she is a scoundrel
00:06:12natasha oh thank you so much for the ride hobby oh you know i'd do anything for you
00:06:20i know do you have to leave i mean we could i could come with you i slide the door close and put a
00:06:28duffel bag over my shoulder single tear rolls down hobby's cheek fuck that girl natasha you arrive here
00:06:35and it's been a while since you've been in this town the air here is much cleaner than the cities

00:07:46selling fish paraphernalia on etsy and by fish i do mean the jam band ph she lives in a dangerously
00:07:58tilted airstream trailer parked at the edge of the woods behind the cold stone i get you a jack
00:08:05the diagonal of the airstream helps me attune to the ley lines
00:08:11this world is not in balance and neither should my airstream be helen looks like a goth stevie nix
00:08:20she looks like if the girl from the ring was checking wristbands at the ren fair
00:08:27her her long dark hair which she leaves wild she has a beautiful mediterranean greek hellenistic face
00:08:40and she has dark it looks like she got as many bolts of cheesecloth as you could buy at joanne's
00:08:47fabrics dyed them all in ink and then just sort of shredded them into garments and so she's kind of a
00:08:55with the hair and the black cheesecloth just kind of looks like a a tim burton tumbleweed
00:09:02missed opportunity as a fashion designer just gotta say yeah um now that's normally strikes a very
00:09:10witchy pose as her sort of garments wisp and go in all directions the only hard part is to get around
00:09:15town she does have a bicycle so so whenever she rides the bicycle she has to hoist up and secure
00:09:23all the cheesecloth or it gets in the gears of her schwinn gotta gird your loins with that dress
00:09:29that's what it means look it up yes that's what they do so you do see when she's riding her bike
00:09:33it just looks like sort of uh you know like a uh a midnight dandelion it's just a big puffy top
00:09:40and then two legs ending in birkenstocks just pedaling as fast as possible i'm glad she's got a
00:09:46comfortable she though good for her good for her another guest arrives abria will you introduce
00:09:53your character please tatiana tati fields uh pulls up and parks inside of the gate uh she's a sophomore
00:10:05at ucsb she crossed the country to go to school uh so now that she's back visiting her family
00:10:11she had to take her dad's like hunter green jag over to the house uh this is mary's former second

00:10:28so she walks up in like a sort of pale dusty pink crushed velvet romper with a little like ucsb like
00:10:36college hoodie over her shoulders uh her phone's up she's in like a little group like discord call
00:10:42with her roster her sundry lovers there's so many but if we keep them well organized and sort of in
00:10:49constant contact then the scheduling becomes that much easier uh if you are a tim burton dandelion
00:10:56this uh tati is like a sophia coppola protagonist
00:11:00it's exactly her vibe uh and i'm playing the matriarch because i cannot escape the mommy

00:12:03like cut like italian like silk uh spread collar shirt with like a little vest over it and chelsea
00:12:09ankle boots um a big a big belt big flashy belt and like really tight jeans yes okay
00:12:17pushing this vespa like really awkwardly up the hill and um as the vespa kind of approaches the
00:12:26gates you notice there is a young girl seated on the vespa she's wearing a fish t-shirt with a ripped
00:12:33up fishnet underneath and the bottom is like just pantaloons that she clearly grabbed from an indian
00:12:38outfit and decided she was going to ditch the top half her hair is like french braided and she's
00:12:44like sitting cross-legged on the back and um he kind of as he pushes the vespa struggling he pulls
00:12:50off his helmet and you see like a big coif of like curly hair brown skin angular jaw with gray eyes
00:12:58and uh i'm just like hey guys hey everybody hi good job pushing that vespa wow jay how are you hi oh hi hi so
