00:15Radha Chaube, a 22-year-old engineering student, along with her friend Bhupendra Dhakud and Prijes Dhakud,
00:20masterminded the racket, according to the police investigation.
00:23Police found that the trio booked rooms at Hotel Viratan,
00:25where Bhupendra and Prijes installed hidden spy cameras disguised as bulb holders to secretly record couples.
00:31After a few days, they returned to retrieve the devices and the footage.
00:34The gang allegedly used these videos to blackmail victims for huge sums of money.
00:38The police said the accused confessed to forming the gang due to financial problems and a desire to fund further studies.
00:44This isn't an isolated case.
