TV6'S reporter Elizabeth Williams is in Washington DC and spoke to some persons about the situation.

00:00How do you feel about the additional security measures in downtown D.C.?
00:06Um, that's a joke.
00:10I've been in D.C. 50 years, and they only, when stuff starts happening to white people,
00:18it's when they do something about it, okay?
00:21And in two or three weeks, it'll be back to business as usual.
00:24This is just to distract from the Epstein files.
00:28Don Fallin has been outside the White House for the past five years.
00:33His duties include playing the national anthem of countries around the world once approached.
00:39Mr. Fallin told TV6 News there must be more togetherness in America.
00:45Somewhere along the way, we've gotten hate and disagreement to mean the same, and they don't.
00:50You know, we can, when we disagree, we just don't see eye to eye.
00:53But when we hate, we don't want to have anything to do with each other.
00:56Joe, the taxpayer, as he told us he prefers to be called, told TV6 News the police force remains underfunded.
01:04The police are underfunded for a reason, so they don't have resources to deal with crime.
01:14That's the point of underfunding the police.
01:18Now, bringing the military in here is not the solution, because they are untrained as well as the police.
01:25From what we have observed so far, additional barricades all around the White House, even through a nearby park.
01:35Reporting for TV6 News, Washington, D.C., I am Elizabeth Williams.
01:41And here's the back.
01:41Thank you, Paul.
