00:00Salom to all, and welcome. Hear, O Israel, the Eternal is our God, the Eternal is one.
00:14And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and all your possessions.
00:22Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
00:34Maybe I dreamed of doing this storytelling in a different way.
00:39Narrating in my own voice, but circumstances have led me to find another way to serve the one true God,
00:47the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of Moses, and the God of Yeshua.
00:55My speech has deteriorated greatly, but that doesn't mean my message should be silenced.
01:02On the contrary, if God has led me down this path, it is because He wants me to do so, and I trust that it will be a blessing.
01:10Please like, subscribe, comment, and share my videos. It helps YouTube make my videos available to more people.
01:21This is how I am motivated if you help me continue creating content to learn and glorify the one true God,
01:28the God of the people of Israel.
01:31If you wish to give me an atfedaka, may God bless you always.
01:35Please give this video a like and subscribe before starting.
01:41Without further ado, we entered the Parasá.
01:45In-depth study of the Parasá Reh.
01:49The Parasá Reh, whose name means look or contemplate,
01:54It is the forty-seventh weekly Torah portion in the Jewish reading cycle
01:59and the fourth of the book of Debarim, Deuteronomy.
02:02It extends from Deuteronomy 11:26 to 16:17.
02:10This portion is a continuation of Moses' speech,
02:14where the focus shifts from the consequences of obedience to the direct choice that the people must make.
02:21Moses presents the choice between two paths,
02:25the blessing, which is obtained through obedience to the commandments,
02:30and the curse, which results from the deviation towards idolatry.
02:35The Parasha also sets forth the laws of worship in one central place and details important commandments related to dietary laws,
02:44the prophets, the false prophets, the cities of refuge and the three pilgrimage festivals.
02:52Corresponding biblical portion.
02:55Deuteronomy 11, 26 to 16, 17.
03:00Corresponding Aftara.
03:03The aftara for Parasá Re is from Isaiah 54:11 to 55:5.
03:10This is the third of the seven aftarot of Consuelo, Sibad in Egenta, which are read between Tisa Beube and Rosasana.
03:19Isaiah's message is one of hope and redemption for a devastated Jerusalem,
03:26comparing her to a barren woman who suddenly becomes fruitful.
03:31Those who are thirsty are invited to come to the waters, and those who have no money to buy grain and wine.
03:38The Aftarah concludes with the promise of an eternal covenant and the proclamation of God's greatness,
03:44who will bring Israel out of captivity.
03:47The connection with the Parasá is evident.
03:51While Moses presents the blessings and curses for the people's election.
03:57Isaiah comforts Israel with the promise that, despite the consequences of their disobedience,
04:04God has a plan for your ultimate redemption and his promises are unbreakable.
04:10Full text of the Parasah Retranslated from Hebrew to Spanish.
04:15Deuteronomy 11.
04:1726. See, I set before you today the blessing and the curse.
04:2311. 27. The blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the Eternal your God that I command you today.
04:3211. 28. And the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the Eternal your God,
04:39and you turn away from the way I command you today, to walk after other gods that you have not known.
04:4711. 29. And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it,
04:55You will put the blessing on Mount Gerifim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
05:0011. 30. Are not these on the other side of the Jordan, on the way to the sunset,
05:08in the land of the Canaanite who lives in the Arabah, opposite Beth-peor?
05:1211. 31. For you are going to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you,
05:21and you will possess it and live in it.
05:2411. 32. And you shall be careful to observe all the statutes and judgments that I set before you today.
05:3412. 1. These are the statutes and judgments which you shall observe to perform in the land which the Eternal,
05:41The God of your fathers has given it to you to possess, all the days that you live on the earth.
05:4712. 2. You will completely destroy all the places where the nations you will dispossess served.
05:56to their gods, on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
06:0412. 3. And you will tear down their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their sacred trees with fire,
06:12and you will cut down the images of their gods and destroy their names from that place.
06:2012. 4. You shall not do so to the Lord your God.
06:2412. 5. But to the place which the Lord your God chooses from all your tribes,
06:31to put his name there for his dwelling, to that place you will come.
06:3512. 6. And you shall bring there your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes,
06:44and the heave offerings of your hands, and your vows, and your freewill offerings,
06:51and the firstborn of your cattle and your sheep.
06:5512. 7. And you shall eat there before the Lord your God,
07:00and you will rejoice in all that you and your households put your hand to, in which I have given you.
07:07blessed be the Eternal your God.
07:1012. 8. You will not do as we do here today, each one doing what seems right to him.
07:17good in his eyes.
07:1812. 9. For you have not yet entered into the rest and inheritance which the Lord your God gives you.
07:2512. 10. But when you cross the Jordan and dwell in the land that the Lord your God is giving you in
07:33inheritance, and may you rest from all your enemies around you, and may you dwell safely.
07:3912. 11. Then to the place which the Lord your God chooses for his name to dwell there,
07:47there you will take everything I command you.
07:4912. Your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave offerings of
07:57your hands, and every choice offering of your vows which you have promised to the Eternal.
08:0412. 12. And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you, and your sons, and your daughters,
08:13and your male servants, and your female servants, and the Levite who is in your gates, because he has no
08:20part or inheritance with you. 12. 13. Take care that you do not offer your burnt offerings in any place
08:28that you see. 12. 14. But in the place which the Eternal chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer
08:36your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you. 12. 15. However, you may kill and eat
08:45meat in all your gates, according to your desire, of the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you.
08:52The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gafela or the fierbo. 12. 16. Only the blood
09:01You shall not eat it, you shall pour it out on the ground like water. 12. 17. You shall not eat it in your gates either.
09:10the tithe of your grain, of your beast, or of your hair, nor the firstborn of your herds or of your
09:17sheep, nor any of the vows you promise, nor your freewill offerings, nor the heave offering of your
09:2412. 18. But you shall eat them before the Lord your God in the place where the Lord your God
09:32choose, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite who is at your gates. And you
09:41You will rejoice before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to. 12. 19. And be careful not to forsake
09:51the Levite all your days in your land. 12. 20. When the Lord your God has spread out your
09:59borders, as he has told you, and you say, I will eat meat, because your soul desires to eat meat, of all
10:06you may eat the meat that your soul desires. 12. 21. If the place that the Lord your God chooses for you is
10:14put his name there is far from you, you can kill of your cattle and of your sheep that the Eternal
10:21has given, as I have commanded you, and you shall eat in your gates all the meat that your soul desires. 12. 22.
10:30As one eats the flaxseed or the flaxseed, so you shall eat it. The unclean and the clean may eat it. 12. 23.
10:39Only be strong not to eat the blood, for the blood is life, and you shall not eat the life with the blood.
10:47flesh. 12. 24. You shall not eat it, you shall pour it out on the earth like water. 12. 25. You shall not eat it, so that
10:59May it go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord. 12:26.
11:07But your holy things that you have, and your vows, you will take them and go to the place that the Eternal chooses.
11:1612. 27. And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the Lord your God. And the
11:24The blood of your sacrifices will be poured out on the altar of the Lord your God, and you will eat the flesh.
11:3112. 28. Keep and listen to all these words that I command you, so that
11:37May it go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right to the
11:44eyes of the Lord your God. 12. 29. When the Lord your God has cut off from before you the nations from which
11:53which you go to dispossess, and you have dispossessed them and dwell in their land. 12. 30. Beware
12:01that you may not be caught in their imitation after they are destroyed before you, and do not inquire
12:08about their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? So will I also.
12:1712. 31. You shall not do so to the Lord your God, for every abominable thing the Lord hates,
12:24They did it to their gods, for they even burned their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
12:3213. 1. You shall be careful to do everything I command you today. You shall not add to it nor diminish from it.
12:4113. 2. If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arise among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,
12:4913. 3. And the sign or wonder is fulfilled, of which he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods,
12:57you did not know, and let us serve them. 13. 4. You will not listen to the words of such a prophet, or dreamer of dreams,
13:07For the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart.
13:14your heart and with all your soul. 13. 5. You shall walk after the Lord your God,
13:22and you will fear him, and keep his commandments, and listen to his voice, and serve him, and
13:29you will adhere. 13. 6. And that prophet or dreamer of dreams will be put to death. Because he spoke for
13:38turn away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of
13:44servitude, to make you walk in the way that the Lord your God commanded you. And so you will remove the curse
13:51in your midst. 13. 7. When your brother, your mother's son, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom,
14:02or your friend who is like your soul, I will invite you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods,
14:10which neither you nor your fathers knew. 13. 8. Of the gods of the peoples who are in
14:17from around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other
14:23ends of the earth. 13. 9. You will not consent to him, nor listen to him,
14:30Neither will thine eye spare him, neither wilt thou pardon him, nor hide it. 13. 10. But thou wilt surely do it.
14:38you will kill. Your hand will be the first against him to kill him, and afterward the hand of all the people.
14:4513. 11. And you shall stone him with stones, that he shall die, because he hath sought to turn you away from the LORD your God,
14:53who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 13. 12. And all Israel will hear,
15:01and he will fear, and will not again commit such wickedness among you. 13. 13. If you hear in
15:10any of your cities that the Lord your God gives you to live in, that some men,
15:15sons of Belial, have come out from among you, and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying,
15:23Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known. 13. 14. Then you will search and inquire,
15:34and you will inquire diligently. And if it is true, and a proven thing, that such an abomination was done in
15:41in the midst of you. 13. 15. You will surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword,
15:49completely destroying it, and all its inhabitants, and its livestock, with the edge of the sword.
15:5613. 16. And you shall gather all their spoil into the midst of their place, and you shall burn the city and all its
16:04spoil, that it may be a complete burnt offering to the Lord your God, and it shall remain desolate forever,
16:11It will not be rebuilt. 13. 17. And none of the spoil will stick to your hand, so that the Lord will turn away.
16:21from the heat of his anger, and give you mercy, and be gracious to you, and multiply you, as he swore to your fathers.
16:3013. 18. When you hear the voice of the Lord your God, to keep all his commandments that I
16:37I command you today, to do it right in the eyes of the Lord your God. 14. 1. You are children of the Lord your God.
16:46God. You shall not make incisions or make baldness between your eyes for the sake of a dead person.
16:5414. 2. For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be his
17:01a special people, more than all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. 14. 3. You shall not eat
17:10nothing abominable. 14. 4. These are the animals that you may eat: the ox, the sheep,
17:19the goat, the goat. 14. 5. The ibex, the antelope, the bison, the deer, the ibex, the antelope, the bison and the
17:28chameleon. 14. 6. And every animal that parts the hoof and is split in two and chews the cud between its teeth.
17:37animals, you may eat them. 14. 7. But of those that chew the cud or of those that have divided hooves,
17:45You shall not eat. The camel, the hare, and the rabbit, because they chew the cud, but do not have split hooves,
17:53you shall regard them as unclean. 14. 8. And the ferd, because it has a split hoof, but does not chew the cud,
18:02You shall regard them as unclean. You shall not eat their flesh, nor shall you touch their carcasses. 14. 9.
18:10Of all that is in the waters, you may eat everything that has fins and scales. 14. 10. And everything
18:19What does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat, it is unclean for you. 14. 11. Every clean bird
18:28you may eat. 14. 12. And these are the ones you shall not eat: the eagle, the bearded vulture, the eagle
18:38marine. 14. 13. The kite, the falcon according to its species. 14. 14. Every raven according to its species. 14.
18:5115. The ostrich, the lapwing, the seagull, the falcon according to its species. 14. 16. The owl, the ibis,
19:01the finch. 14. 17. The pelican, the vulture, the great crested grebe. 14. 18. The fig, the heron according to its
19:12species. The hoopoe and the murfiel. 14. 19. And every winged creeping thing is unclean for you.
19:22will eat. 14. 20. You may eat every clean bird. 14. 21. You shall not eat anything that dies. To the foreigner
19:33that is at your gates you shall give it, and he may eat it, or you shall sell it to a stranger, for people
19:40You are holy to the eternal God, your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk. 14. 22. Truly
19:50You shall tithe all the produce of your seed, which the field yields year by year. 14. 23. And you shall eat before the LORD your God.
19:59of the eternal your God. In the place he chooses to make his name dwell there, the tithe of your grain,
20:07of your new wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your kine and of your flock, so that you may learn to fear
20:14to the eternal your God at all times. 14. 24. And if the way is so long for you that you cannot
20:23take it, because the place that the eternal your God has chosen to put his there is far from you.
20:29name, when the eternal your God has blessed you. 14. 25. Then you shall sell it, and tie the money in your
20:39hand, and you shall go to the place which the Eternal your God will choose. 14. 26. And you shall give the money for all that
20:48I will desire your soul, for cows, or for sheep, or for wine, or for cider, or for anything that your soul desires.
20:56ask of you. And you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. 14. 27. And the Levite who
21:06is at your gates you will not forsake him, for he has no part or inheritance with you. 14. 28. At last
21:15You shall bring out all the tithes of your produce for three years, and keep them in your gates. 14. 29. And
21:24The Levite, who has no part or inheritance with you, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow will come.
21:32that are in your gates, and will eat and challenge each other, so that the eternal your God may bless you in all your work.
21:38that you make with your hands. 15. 1. At the end of seven years you shall make a release. 15. 2. And this is the way
21:49of remission. Every creditor shall forgive his neighbor what he lent him, he shall not sue his neighbor or his
21:56brother, for the release of the eternal has been proclaimed. 15. 3. You may demand of a foreigner.
22:06But whatever he has with your brother, your hand will remit. 15. 4. Although there will be no one among you
22:14needy, since the eternal will bless you in the land that the eternal your God gives you as an inheritance
22:19so that you may possess it. 15. 5. Provided only that you listen diligently to the voice of the eternal your God,
22:28to keep and to do all this commandment which I command you today. 15. 6. For the eternal your God
22:37He will bless you, as he has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow,
22:43and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you. 15. 7. When there is in the midst
22:53of you needy of any of your brothers, in any of your gates, in the land that the eternal
22:59your God gives you, you will not harden your heart, nor close your hand to your poor brother. 15. 8. But
23:08that you will certainly open your hand to him, and you will certainly lend him whatever he needs, whatever he needs.
23:1515. 9. Take heed that there be no wicked thought in your heart, saying,
23:22The year of release is near, the seventh year. And your eye is evil against your needy brother,
23:29and give him nothing, and he cries out to the Eternal against you, and it is sin in you. 15. 10. Surely he
23:38You will give, and you will not be sad when you give, because for this reason the eternal your God will
23:44He will bless you in every work you do, and in everything you put your hand to. 15. 11. For there will be no lack
23:52needy in the midst of the land, therefore I command you, saying, You shall surely open your hand to your
23:59brother, to your poor and needy in your land, period. 15. 12. When your Hebrew brother
24:08or a Hebrew woman is sold to you and has served you for six years, in the seventh year you shall let her go free.
24:1515. 13. And when you send him away, you will not send him away empty-handed. 15. 14. You will give him abundantly.
24:25Of your flock, of your threshing floor and of your winepress, you shall give him of that in which the eternal your God has given you.
24:31blessed. 15. 15. And you will remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the eternal your God
24:39redeemed, therefore, I command you this today. 15. 16. And if he says to you, I will not leave you, because he loves you and your
24:50house, for it is well with you. 15. 17. Then you shall take an awl and drive it into his ear
24:59against the door, and he shall be your servant forever, and you shall do the same to your maidservant. 15. 18. Do not
25:08It may seem harsh when you send him free, for you have served him for twice the wages of a day laborer.
25:14six years, and the eternal your God will bless you in all that you do. 15. 19. And all the firstborn of your
25:23of your cattle and of your sheep, if it is a male, you shall consecrate it to the eternal your God. You shall not work
25:31with the firstborn of your cow, nor shall you shear the firstborn of your sheep. 15. 20. Before the
25:39Eternal your God you shall eat it year after year, in the place which the Eternal chooses, you and your house. 15. 21. And if
25:48have any defect, if he is lame or felonious, or has any other serious defect, do not
25:55You shall sacrifice to the Eternal One your God. 15. 22. You shall eat it in your gates. The unclean and the clean shall eat it.
26:04of him, as of the gaffe and the fiery beast. 15. 23. Only his blood you shall not eat. On earth
26:12You shall pour it out like water. 16. 1. You shall keep the month of Avib, and keep the Passover to the eternal your God,
26:22for in the month of Avib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night. 16. 2. And you shall sacrifice the
26:30Passover to the eternal your God, of sheep and of cattle, in the place that the eternal chooses to make dwell there
26:37her name. 16. 3. You shall not eat leavened bread with it. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it,
26:47bread of affliction, because you came out of the land of Egypt in haste, so that you may remember the day
26:53from the time of your coming out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. 16. 4. And no leaven shall be seen with you in
27:02all your territory for seven days. And of the meat that you sacrifice on the evening of the first day, there shall be none left.
27:09nothing for the morning. 16. 5. You may not sacrifice the Passover at any of the gates that the eternal your God
27:18gives you. 16. 6. Except in the place which the eternal your God chooses to make his name dwell there,
27:26There you shall sacrifice the Passover, in the evening, at sunset, at the time you came out of Egypt.
27:3416. 7. And you shall roast it and eat it in the place which the Eternal your God will choose, and in the morning you shall return and
27:42You shall go to your tents. 16. 8. Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly.
27:52solemn to the eternal your God. You shall do no work on it. 16. 9. Seven weeks you shall count. From that
28:01you begin to put the leaf into the field, you will begin to count the seven weeks. 16. 10. And you will celebrate the feast
28:11of the weeks to the eternal your God, with a voluntary offering from your hand, according to what the eternal your
28:17God has blessed you. 16. 11. And you will rejoice before the Eternal your God. You, and your son, and your daughter,
28:28and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite who was in your gates, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the
28:36widow who is among you, in the place that the eternal your God chooses to make his dwell there.
28:42name. 16. 12. And you shall remember that you were a servant in Egypt, and you shall be careful and do these
28:51statutes. 16. 13. You shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from
29:01your winepress. 16. 14. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant,
29:11and the Levite, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates. 16. 15. Seven days
29:21You will celebrate a feast to the eternal your God in the place that the eternal one will choose, because the eternal your God will have
29:28blessed in all your produce, and in all the work of your hands, and you will be truly joyful. 16. 16.
29:37Three times a year every man of yours shall appear before the Lord your God in the place he shall choose,
29:44at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of
29:50tabernacles. And it shall not appear empty before the Eternal. 16. 17. Every man with the gift of his own hand,
29:59according to the blessing of the eternal your God which he has given you.
30:0316. Deep spiritual reflection. The Parasa Rehe is a powerful call to action and choice.
30:12conscious. Moses uses the word Rehe, Look, to urge the people to see the direct connection between
30:20their actions and their consequences, a choice that must be active, not passive. As the Midrash,
30:27If Frey of Barim comments, the blessing and the curse do not come to the person automatically,
30:34It is the person who must reach out to take one of them. This portion is the moral axis
30:41throughout the book of Deuteronomy. A central theme is the unification of worship in a single chosen place
30:49by God. Moses orders the people to completely destroy pagan places of worship, and prohibits the
30:56worship anywhere other than the temple in Jerusalem. This is not just a measure of
31:03control, but a crucial step in ensuring the purity of worship and the spiritual cohesion of the
31:09people. The Rambam, Maimonides, emphasizes that this prevents idolatry, since the people would no longer have
31:18excuse to serve God in the high places of the Gentiles. The Jewish Minab of Kasrut,
31:24dietary laws, is presented in this Parasha as a seal of the sanctity of the people, separating them from
31:31nations that do not have the same laws. The Parasha warns severely against false
31:38prophets and idolatry. Moses establishes that even if a prophet performs signs and wonders,
31:46If his message contradicts God's commandments, he must be rejected and put to death.
31:53The Talmud, Sanhedrin 89a, explains that the purpose of this test is to know if the people's love for God
32:01is true and complete, or if they are willing to follow any miraculous sign. This reinforces
32:08the idea that true faith is based on the Torah, not on novelty or experiences
32:13supernatural. Another crucial concept is social justice. The Parasha establishes laws regarding remission
32:22of debts every seven years, smitrá, the liberation of the Hebrew slaves, and the obligation to give to the
32:29in need. The passage about not hardening your heart or closing your hand, Deuteronomy 15:7,
32:38It is an ethical pillar of Judaism. Moses even anticipates that people might try to avoid paying
32:45money as the year of smita approaches and warns against this attitude, promising
32:51that generosity will be blessed. This underlines that obedience to God is not only ritual, but
32:59It must be manifested in acts of kindness and compassion towards the most vulnerable in society.
33:05Connections with the Messiah and future redemption, a messianic vision. The Parasha Rehe, with its focus
33:13in the choice between blessing and curse, has profound messianic implications. The prophet
33:20As the Messiah, the portion warns about false prophets and sets the standard for a
33:27true prophet. In a messianic vision, the Messiah is seen as the definitive prophet that God
33:34will raise up from among you, Deuteronomy 18, 15, whom the people must listen to. The fact that
33:43The fact that the Parasha is so strict with false prophets highlights the uniqueness and importance of the
33:49genuine prophetic figure who will come. The blood covenant, the prohibition of eating blood because the
33:56Blood is life, Deuteronomy 12:23, is related to the concept of atonement. In Judaism
34:05Messianic, the Messiah Yeshua is seen as the Passover Lamb whose blood purifies and establishes a
34:12new covenant, a fulfillment of the prohibition and an elevation of the sacrifice. Unlike the
34:19animal sacrifices that were consumed and whose blood was shed, the Messiah offered his life once
34:26once and for all, a sacrifice that represents life itself. The Messiah as the blessing upon the
34:33Mount Gerifim, in the ceremony of blessing and cursing, Moses places the blessing on the
34:40Mount Gerifim and the curse on Mount Ebal. The messianic tradition sees in the Messiah the
34:47culmination of all the blessings promised to Israel. The gematria of the name Yeshua is 391,
34:55which is also the meaning of the phrase the blessing, embrace. In this sense, Yeshua is the incarnation
35:04same blessing. He is the one who brings the blessing of redemption and forgiveness to all who follow him.
35:11affects. Concluding reflection for current life. The Parasá Rehe reminds us that every day, in every
35:20decision, we are faced with a choice, blessing or curse. The Torah is not a
35:27list of arbitrary rules, but a path to life, prosperity, and holiness. It is a
35:34invitation to see that obedience to God is not a burden, but the foundation of a full life.
35:42It teaches us that true worship is not an isolated ritual act, but a way of life that
35:48It encompasses social justice, generosity toward the needy, and fidelity to the commandments
35:54of God. The warning against false prophets is a call to vigilance. We must evaluate the
36:02messages that we hear, not because of their external signs, but because of their fidelity to the truth of the Torah.
36:10Ultimately, this Parasha is a reminder that life in covenant with God requires a
36:16total commitment and a conscious choice to walk in His ways, so that the blessing
36:22promised to follow us every step of the way. Sources consulted for this study

36:52for the messianic vision. When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the saints
36:59angels with him, then he will sit on his throne of glory. And before him will be gathered all the
37:06nations. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. And he will put
37:14the sheep on his right, and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right,
37:22Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.
37:29For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger,
37:36and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me, I was sick, and you visited me, in prison, and you came
37:45to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when we saw you hungry,
37:52and fed you, or thirsty, and gave you drink? And when we saw you a stranger, and took you in,
38:01or naked, and clothed you. Or when we saw you sick, or in prison, and came to you. And the
38:10King, he will say to them, Truly I say to you, as soon as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,
38:17They did it to me. Source: Matthew 25:31-34. This passage shows that the final judgment is based on
38:27our actions towards others, and that true justice is reflected in practical love
38:33toward those in need. Yeshua takes up these ideas clearly, showing that faithfulness to God is
38:41expresses serving others with love and justice, without needing to see them physically. Serving the
38:48needy is to serve the Messiah, their representative. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for
38:57theirs is the kingdom of the faithful. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
39:04Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and
39:13thirst for justice, for they will be challenged. Blessed are the merciful, for they
39:21They will receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
39:28Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are the
39:36persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of the faithful. Blessed
39:44you are when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for my sake.
