00:06Downing Street, it's just a short road in central London, but it's one of the most

00:14Number 10 is the Official Residence and Office of the UK Prime Minister, it's where decisions
00:19are made, cabinet meetings are held and world leaders are welcomed.
00:24The building dates back to the 1680s, but since the early 18th century, it's been the base
00:30for Britain's head of government.
00:33Right next door, number 11 is home to the Chancellor of the Exchequer in charge of the nation's
00:38finances.
00:40The street itself is closed off and heavily guarded, a reminder of the weight of power inside.
00:46So when the news says Downing Street announced, it really means the UK government speaking
00:51from the heart of power.
