05:24I'm always amazed how locations find these places.

05:27It's just like, it's really incredible.

05:28We have this great little cottage that's Inquiline's hideout.

05:33Not only is the set itself incredible,

05:35but then you get to go outside and it's the light and it's everything.

05:37And I think as an actor, when you have all of these things,

05:40it just fills in so many sensory gaps for you when you're working

05:44that it allows you to just really go deep into the character.

05:47Inquiline is a really mysterious character.

05:51So I wanted somewhere that felt dangerous and on the edge of Europe

05:55and more likely to be a place of espionage and risk.

05:58So we chose Istanbul.

06:00Which is such an exotic and rich place.

06:03Well, every which way you point the camera,

06:05there's depth and texture and scale.

06:08But constantly we were using Marseille for Istanbul.

06:12We were using Istanbul for Russia.

06:14We were at sea for days.

06:18That's what gave this movie so much scope.

06:20You could do these things on stage somewhere,

06:23but when you're out there doing it properly all over the world,

06:28taking the time to do it with the best of the best,

06:33then you're setting yourself up for an extraordinary cinematic experience.
