00:52Robberies, they've dropped 42%.
00:54So that's good news.
00:56And normal residents are thrilled.
00:59Well, I'm glad they're cracking down on crime.

01:05I feel like the nation's finally becoming safe again with this.

03:07Then Pritzker did his big call-out to the press,
03:12imploring the media to lose their objectivity,
03:15as if they have objectivity, for the sake of democracy.
03:18To the members of the press who are assembled here today
03:21and listening across the country,
03:24I am asking for your courage to tell it like it is.
03:29This is not a time to pretend here
03:31that there are two sides to this story.
03:33Donald Trump wants to use the military to occupy a U.S. city,
03:39punish his dissidents, and score political points.
03:43If this were happening in any other country,
03:46we would have no trouble calling it what it is,
03:49a dangerous power grab.
03:51One of the worst mayors in America joined the fund, Brandon Johnson,
03:56and he gave his own kind of stump speech today,
03:59citing crime falling, he claims, in certain categories.
04:02Then the desperate dirigible issued a tough guy warning,
04:06not to criminals, but to Trump and his top advisors.
04:09To any federal official who would come to Chicago
04:12and try to incite my people into violence
04:15as a pretext for something darker and more dangerous,
04:19we are watching and we are taking names.
04:22As Dr. King once said,
04:24the arc of the moral universe is long,
04:26but it bends toward justice.
04:29Humbly, I would add, it doesn't bend on its own.
04:33History tells us we often have to apply force needed
04:37to make sure that the arc gets where it needs to go.
04:41We have to apply force.
04:44Now, what does Pritzker mean there, pray tell?
04:47In one breath, he talked about peaceful and lawful resistance,
04:51and then that language about force.
04:54Well, let me decode this for you.
04:56There are two things going on.
04:58Pritzker does not want the world to see
05:00and the city to feel what life can truly be like
05:05when it's safe and gangs are back on their heels,
05:07when drug runners are forced to hide.
05:09He knows Trump is showing voters
05:12who are traditionally Democrats
05:13that they don't need to live this way.
05:17Second, what you saw today is the first movement
05:20in the 2028 Democrat primary.
05:23Not having Gavin Newsom has been dominating
05:25the anti-Trump headlines for weeks.
05:27He's been carving out his place as the early front runner.
05:31So others have to show that they can stand up to Trump too,
05:34which is why Pritzker puffed out
05:36his already puffy chest today.
05:38But how does that explain
05:40what's happened to his state under Democrat rule?
05:44Including, when you look at that crowd there today,
05:47Dick Durbin, who stood behind Pritzker,
05:49he looked like a stuffed cadaver
05:50doing his best Joe Biden impersonation.
05:52That was weird.
05:53Not inspiring at all.
05:54Just like the entire state itself.
05:58Not inspiring because it's bleeding residents.
06:01And as a result,
06:02it will lose an estimated two congressional seats by 2032.
06:06Well, it turns out that Americans actually don't like living in cities
06:11and in states with high taxes, high crime,
06:15a rotten education system, and a fat bureaucracy,
06:18a lot of whom were standing behind Pritzker today.
06:21Democrats, though, they apparently believe
06:23that they're entitled to win office and stay in power,
06:28whether or not their policies are proven to hurt innocent,
06:31hardworking Americans, including disproportionately hurting minorities.
06:36And that's what's happening in Chicago.
06:39And look at what Zoran Mamdani is planning for NYC.
06:43He and his Socialist Party comrades want to end enforcement of misdemeanors
06:48and legalize prostitution, just for good measure.
06:51So this is all of a piece.
06:54Trump wants more law enforcement.
06:56Democrats want less.
06:58How stupid are they?
07:01But what's important to remember here,
07:03just like the Biden people didn't care about what an open border would mean,
07:06it would mean open season on Americans, their safety, their lives.

27:10And I can tell you who did it, when, but I don't want to do that because others followed pretty quickly.
27:18But that was when it happened.
27:20Somebody kills somebody.
27:21They go in.
27:21Don't worry about it.
27:22No cash.
27:22Come back in a couple of months.
27:24We'll give you a trial.
27:25You never see the person again.
27:27And I mean, they kill people and they get out.
27:30Cashless bail.
27:31They thought it was discriminatory to make people put up money because they just killed three people lying on a street.
27:36Any street all over the country, cashless bail.
27:41We're ending it.
27:42But we're starting by ending it in D.C.
27:45And that we have the right to do through federalization.
27:49Yeah, let's reimagine the police and hire social workers instead of police officers that are trained.
27:54Now, during the signing ceremony, President Trump also touted some of the accomplishments that federal authorities have made in cleaning up Washington, D.C. and their crime problem.
28:03Take a listen to this.
28:04Four hundred and thirty nine illegal alien criminals have been removed.
28:09And we have six known gang members, some of the worst leaders of gangs anywhere in the country.
28:17MS-13 and Tren de Aragua with two missing children that have been recovered.
28:23They thought they were gone.
28:24We brought them back to the family.
28:26The family started crying.
28:27They couldn't believe that they saw their child again.
28:30Forty nine homeless encampments have been removed.
28:35We like clean.
28:36We like beautiful.
28:37We like safe.
28:37And that's what we're getting.
28:39And according to the White House, since President Trump began the crackdown on D.C. crime, over one thousand arrests have been made.
28:46One hundred eleven illegal firearms have been seized.
28:49And most importantly, D.C., our nation's capital, has gone a whopping 12 days without a single homicide, breaking the pre-COVID record.
28:59And given how successful his efforts have been in D.C., President Trump is warning other blue cities and states they may be next, telling Maryland Governor Westmore that he could send troops to Baltimore to help clean up the city's out-of-control crime problem there.
29:14And while saying this about Chicago, well, here's what he said.
29:18Take a look.
29:18As you all know, Chicago is a killing field right now.
29:22And they don't acknowledge it.
29:24And they say, we don't need him.
29:26Freedom, freedom.
29:27He's a dictator.
29:27He's a dictator.
29:29They need help badly.
29:30Chicago desperately needs help.
29:32Just look at the crime statistics.
29:35Look at the statistics that J.D. said about even I didn't know it was that bad.
29:39That's terrible.
29:40Now, the president's recent comments about the possibility of cleaning up crime in Chicago have led to the city's failed mayor, Brandon Johnson, to have a meltdown while threatening to, quote, rise up against tyranny and calling people to take to the streets.
29:55Whatever that's supposed to mean.
29:57Sounds like a threat to me.
29:58Take a listen.
29:59So, you know, look, we're going to remain firm.
30:02We'll take legal action.
30:04But the people of this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny.
30:08And if that's necessary, I believe that the people of Chicago will stand firm alongside of me as I work every single day to protect the people of this city.
30:18Is that a threat to rise up against law enforcement that is there to save lives, not to be outdone?
30:23Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker speaking to reporters in Chicago today where he claimed they don't need President Trump's help cracking down on crime.
30:32Yeah, they do.
30:32Take a look.
30:33Earlier today in the Oval Office, Donald Trump looked at the assembled cameras and asked for me personally to say, Mr. President, can you do us the honor of protecting our city?
30:46Instead, I say, Mr. President, do not come to Chicago.
30:50You are neither wanted here nor needed here.
31:01Donald Trump wants to use the military to occupy a U.S. city, punish his dissidents and score political points.
31:10Now, Chicago does need Donald Trump's help over the weekend.
31:15Six people were shot and killed in Chicago.
31:18Another 27 were injured.
31:20In fact, Democrats in Illinois have failed to control the crime crisis for decades now.
31:25On this show, we have been scrolling these names, homicide victims, murder victims in Chicago since Obama was president.
31:34Democrats haven't lifted a finger to stop this.
31:36And even now, they still don't want to keep their city safe.
31:39Why? Because what?
31:40They hate Trump more than they would, you know, rather have their constituents safe and secure.
31:46It's dangerous to work with them.
31:48It's no surprise.
31:49A recent poll has the Chicago mayor's approval rating at less than seven percent.
31:53And J.B. Pritzker, let me give you a heads up.
31:56You're not going to be president ever.
31:58Give up hope.
31:59This is a party that has lost their conscience and their soul and their heart and any any ounce of common sense they were ever born with.
32:06This is why the country is right now at this tipping point.
32:10This is an inflection point.
32:12The radical left doubles down on dumb, dumber and stupid and crazy and fall on the wrong side of every issue.
32:18The question is, will the country go down with them?
