00:00Did you ever meet Secretary Clinton, Hillary Clinton?
00:04Yes.
00:05When did you meet her?
00:15I want to say, again please don't hold me to it, but I want to say that it was on a flight that came from the island,
00:28not from the island, from the Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard back to New York is what I think.
00:35I might be wrong.
00:36Okay, so an East Coast island like Nantucket or something like this.
00:41Yes, the ex-president never came to the island.
00:45And is that the only time that you met Hillary Clinton?
00:49No, I went to the house in Chappaqua a few times.
00:54And why did you go to the house?
00:55I was invited.
00:57Just to see President Clinton or Hillary Clinton or both?
01:02Yeah.
01:04I mean, as a friend.
01:06Not for...
01:07There was no...
01:08I don't remember any reason.
01:10Either it was somehow I communicated that was in coming, driving back past Chappaqua if they were home and stopping.
01:17I know it sounds a little flippant, but it could have been even something as...
01:22And do you know whether Mr. Epstein had knew or had any sort of business dealings or associated with Hillary Clinton?
01:31I would say no.
01:33Did you ever see them together?
01:35No.
01:36Did...
01:37Do you know whether Mr. Epstein ever did any business transactions with the Clintons?
01:43I would...
01:44Well...
01:45I'm not sure I can...
01:48I'm not sure how to quite...
01:50I don't know the answer to that strictly.
01:52Because I was part of the beginning process of the Clinton Global Initiative.
02:01And that was something that I helped with.
02:06And that was me.
02:08And Epstein may have helped me help them.
02:11And in that context, he may well have involved himself, but only in the context of something that I was trying to do.
02:22So, when you say involved himself, meaning like give money to the Clinton Global Initiative or something like this?
02:30Well, so, there's that.
02:32I think he did do that.
02:33And that, I believe, the money that he may have given could have been independent of me.
02:38But, I think it's just easier if I just tell you how it happened.
02:42Rather than...
02:43Because otherwise it sounds all odd and funky.
02:47I went to Davos with the former president.
02:51And I...
02:54Have you been to Davos?
02:59In what?
03:00Have you been to Davos?
03:01I have not.
03:02Okay, well you know it's a...
03:03You know what it is, right?
03:04Okay, so...
03:06And I was...
03:07I thought that the former president should have his own Davos because it would be...
03:16And they had...
03:17It turned out that they had been thinking about it anyway.
03:20And so we were talking about it.
03:22And, you know, it's a very heavy lift to get something like that to go.
03:27And I was friendly with one of the people who had...
03:33I don't know if he was at the beginning of Davos or...
03:37But he was running Davos.
03:38I was just...
03:39I don't know how to describe his actual role at Davos.
03:42And I had conversations with him about what did he think.
03:45You know, just because I was having dinner with him about...
03:49If Clinton could get something like that to go, what was his thoughts?
03:52And he was very, very enthusiastic.
03:54I mean, he was like, that's just an incredible idea.
03:56So I put them together.
03:58Who's...
03:59What's that person's name?
04:00Do you remember?
04:01I knew you were going to ask me.
04:02Okay.
04:03I can...
04:04I can...
04:05I just...
04:06You said...
04:07I didn't know if you knew his...
04:08If you remember his name.
04:09I do, but I just...
04:10Can't remember his name.
04:11Okay.
04:12If it comes to me, it may come to me tomorrow, but eventually these things, like, surface.
04:16Perfect.
04:17Like, in the middle of the night, I was scribbling names that I couldn't remember from yesterday.
04:20Um...
04:21Okay.
04:22But his name will come to me.
04:23And if not, we can find it.
04:24Okay.
04:25So...
04:26So you...
04:27When the...
04:28Just still staying on your relationship with...
04:31Sorry.
04:32The...
04:33Your association with the Clintons, um...
04:36You were part of the ramp-up or the start-up of the Clinton Global Initiative...
04:41Helping them and supporting that effort.
04:43I would...
04:44I...
04:45I would say very important...
04:46Very central to that, yes.
04:48And...
04:49Mr. Epstein...
04:54Was he part of the work around that, or just in support of you?
05:00He supported me to help them, but then I think he may have tried to use that to insert
05:07himself in some way.
05:08That would not have surprised me at all.
05:10And I know that he...
05:12I've...
05:13Was annoying.
05:14In some reason I could catch him on the phone and he wouldn't always agree with what
05:17I wanted to do.
05:18And I was like, it was not your idea.
05:20I don't really care what you think.
05:21But that didn't go over so well.
05:25Um...
05:26And...
05:27I just want to say, it wasn't my idea for his CGO.
05:30I didn't...
05:31It wasn't.
05:32Say it again.
05:33I've had that idea before.
05:34I just helped bring key personnel to him.
05:36You're saying the idea of President Clinton kind of having his own Davos...
05:40I'm not...
05:41I'm not owning...
05:42I didn't...
05:43That's not...
05:44Understood.
05:45No, I'm just...
05:46I didn't see it.
05:47No, I understand.
05:48Okay.
05:49Um...
05:50Did you go to Davos with President Clinton more than once or just once?
05:54I can't remember.
05:56Once for sure.
05:57And I think maybe twice.
05:58But I don't remember.
05:59Um...
06:00Did...
06:02And you're not...
06:04I think you said...
06:05You don't...
06:06You're not aware of President Clinton ever going to the island.
06:10He never went.
06:11He absolutely never went.
06:12And I can be sure of that.
06:13Because there's no way he would have gone...
06:15I don't believe there's any way that he would have gone to the island had I not been there.
06:19Because I don't believe he had an independent friendship, if you will, with Epstein.
06:24Did he speak?
06:25Did he go on the...
06:26Yes.
06:27That's very different from going to spend time on...
06:30And plus, the story as told is so patently absurd that I flew him in the helicopter.
06:37I am a helicopter pilot.
06:38That is true.
06:39But the notion of me flying an ex-president on a machine would terrify me.
06:44I would never even take that responsibility.
06:47Can you imagine?
06:48Yeah, no.
06:49I'm not...
06:50No.
06:51Did...
06:52Did you ever go with President Clinton to any of Epstein...
06:56Mr. Epstein...
06:57Mr. Epstein's...
06:58Um...
06:59Properties?
07:00So, like...
07:01New Mexico, Palm Beach, or in New York?
07:03I...
07:04I...
07:05I...
07:06I don't have memory of him in any of those places.
07:09When you were in London with President Clinton, did you...
07:13Did you ever go to your...
07:15To your flat with him?
07:17I don't...
07:18I don't think he did.
07:19I don't...
07:20I don't think so.
07:21Because this is like a...
07:22Fucking...
07:23He wouldn't even be able to carry all his secret service with him.
