00:22It's a punitive operation that has gone hand in hand with raids in the village of Al Mugair.
00:28This is not a normal attack. We had other attacks before, but this one is abnormal.
00:37Imagine, they uprooted hundreds of olive trees that are aged more than 100 years.
00:43Around 10 bulldozers are working. Also, the soldiers are inside the village.
00:48They search every house. They fire stun grenades inside the houses.
00:54They destroy the furniture of the houses.
00:56Israeli settlers have attacked Al Mugair many times, most recently last weekend when they set a car and properties on fire.
01:05Then, the Israeli security forces supporting the settlers shot dead an 18-year-old Palestinian man.
01:11The army says the latest raids are collective punishment for an alleged shooting near an Israeli settlement,
01:20illegal under international law, in which it says an Israeli suffered minor injuries.
01:25What's going on in the future, I believe, is preventing the Palestinian farmers in these villages from having access.
01:35So, we are talking about a line of military zone that will be full of Israeli army and, of course, armed settlers who are shooting, burning, confiscating the Palestinian properties in this area.
01:51It's a complete plan, very well organized by Israeli army and settlers.
01:59Settler attacks against Palestinians and their property in the occupied West Bank happen almost daily.
02:06Israeli raids on villages, towns and refugee camps have killed about 1,000 Palestinians since October 2023.
