00:00Good morning, hope you had a lovely weekend and for those off on bank holiday Monday across
00:05Northern Ireland, Wales and England, well there's plenty of fine unsettled weather on
00:10the way.
00:11That's all courtesy of high pressure but that's sinking its way south and eastwards
00:14and it's going to be replaced by low pressure.
00:17This is actually ex-hurricane Erin and it's going to be bringing in bands of showers or
00:22heavier spells of rain as we go through the week and also some large waves especially
00:27across western coasts but back to this morning.
00:31Any mist and fog patches will soon lift and clear and then it's a fine day on offer, plenty
00:37of sunshine, much more sunshine across Scotland than over recent days.
00:42Any cloud in the southeast will clear its way through but across Northern Ireland some cloud
00:47will be building into the afternoon ahead of this band of rain that could be quite heavy
00:53later on.
00:54We'll also see the winds picking up across the west but it is a southerly direction and
00:59with more in the way of sunshine temperatures are also going to be rising so it's going to
01:04be feeling hotter out there.
01:06Highs of up to 28 possibly 29 even 30 degrees across the Midlands and perhaps even parts
01:12of Wales but even across Scotland highs coming up at 24 degrees.
01:17So as we go through Monday evening then it's a damp end to the day across Northern Ireland
01:23with this band of rain that will edge into western parts of Scotland then later overnight into
01:29Wales and the southwest of England could turn quite heavy at times always staying dry as
01:33for the longest across the far south east but otherwise temperatures are generally going
01:38to be holding up tonight generally in the double digits.
01:42So to start Tuesday morning then it's a bit more of an unsettled start out there across
01:47the Midlands across Northern England and into Scotland but the band of rain will generally
01:53start fizzling out as we go into late morning and then replaced by sunny spells and a scattering
01:59of showers.
02:00Some of these still could be heavy at times but some may avoid them and see some bright or
02:04sunny interludes.
02:06Otherwise it's still going to be feeling quite warm across the south east we've got highs
02:10here of 26 degrees but in the west temperatures actually falling closer to average around 22
02:17to 23 degrees.
02:20So it stays unsettled as we go into Wednesday and Thursday as well but make sure to hit subscribe
02:25so you don't miss any details on that and I'll see you very soon, bye bye.
