Oregon Ducks Wide Receiver Malik Benson discusses what makes Oregon different from other teams
Transcript
00:00What makes Oregon different?
00:07Just the culture.
00:07When I first got here, there was no like, none of my teammates were looking at me
00:12weird, things like that.
00:13It was, they welcomed me in and that's just little things.
00:16Just being able to hang out, guys from different positions, teach me to play.
00:22So when I'm hanging out with Kenyon and I'm hearing when he's teaching me the plays.
00:29But I'm hearing it from the tight end's point of view.
00:32It just makes me learn the game better.
00:35Obviously, you've been through it a few times now.
00:36But as we're getting closer to the season, how do you kind of manage excitement and
00:39sort of just like stay grounded and get better and being a part of the team?
00:42Honestly, just attack and fall camp, knowing this is gonna be the hardest thing
00:46that we do all year.
00:48But just like I said, not taking anything for granted and just stay prayed up.
00:53How's the relationship been with the quarterbacks?
00:55And what's excited you from what you've seen from them in the spring so far?
00:59And I just feel like we got, all the quarterbacks are really good.
01:03But I feel like, Dante, he has a special talent.
01:07And I just can't wait for everybody to be able to see our relationship that we
01:13built outside of football.
01:15So once we get into the season, fall camp is gonna be an easy connection just
01:20because we've been hanging out.
