00:00The Roman Anthony thing is, I think, has been awesome to watch

00:03because it reminds me so much, Meggo, of a few years back

00:07when the Royals first called up Bobby Witt,

00:09and you're like, wow, this dude's going to be a top-10 player in baseball not too long.

00:13Or when the Padres first had Fernando Tatis Jr. up,

00:17and you're like, wow, this dude, this is something special.

00:19And you watch Roman Anthony, and you just feel like, not now,

00:24but within two or three years, we're going to be talking about him

00:27as a top-10 player in baseball.

00:28He's already arguably the best player in their lineup.

00:31I mean, I know Bregman's obviously been really good,

00:34and I know Rafael, especially that you combine with what he's done in the field,

00:37has been really good, and Abreu's got over 20 homers.

00:39But, I mean, just since the All-Star break, Meggo, Roman Anthony's hitting .308,

00:44and I think even more impressive, 22 walks since the All-Star break.

00:49That's sixth in the majors, and the guys ahead of him,

00:52Otani, Tatis Jr., Mike Trout.

00:54Like, that's the class of guys with his plate discipline

00:57that he's in.

00:59Like, and he's doing so many things well.

01:02It's just, it's been really fun to watch,

01:05and I wish they brought him up earlier,

01:06but it's been a lot of fun to watch.

01:08Like I said, I really think he's on the track where 2027, 2028,

01:12we're going to be talking about one of the top-10 best players in baseball.

01:14But he's gonna be talking about two kinds of boys.
