00:00All right, as of November 12th,
00:01what do you think is going to happen with Alex Bregman?
00:06I still, I don't, I think there's not a great chance,
00:11less than 50% chance that I think he comes back.
00:14I don't know why.
00:15Wow.
00:16Yeah, yeah.
00:17I mean, I think that he's going to find much more of a market
00:21than he did last year.
00:24And I think the Red Sox are probably going to play chicken with him
00:27like they did last year, which worked out for them.
00:30But now you're hearing teams like Philadelphia get in the mix.
00:35And without the qualifying offer attached,
00:39you know, you have the comp of the Matt Chapman contract.
00:41So it's like, it's not like you can't get his six-year deal.
00:45I mean, Matt Chapman got it.
00:46It's almost the exact same age.
00:48So I'm just a little wary that the Red Sox are going to play chicken
00:52like they did last year.
00:53And they're going to, they're going to, and then Bregman's going to say,
00:57well, you know what?
00:57I didn't have to rely on Detroit.
00:59I didn't have to rely on Kansas City.
01:01I can rely on Dave Dombrowski or another big market team.
01:05So that's why I say, I still think that obviously there's still a strong
01:09chance he comes back.
01:11But once you get other teams involved for this guy at that price,
01:16you know, you have to either say, this is what we value at,
01:20and we're willing to pay you, which they didn't last year,
01:24or you're going to be willing to let him go.
