00:00is which is the best team in the American League, right?

00:02Yeah.

00:03It's a tough one.

00:03I was going to say, two weeks ago, I said Seattle, and now I'm like, oh.

00:06Well, it's like with the Red Sox coming out of the Orioles,

00:09we're like, oh my goodness, fork in the road, trip to the Bronx,

00:12and next thing you know, by the time we get to Sunday,

00:14it was the fork in the road game for the Yankees.

00:17But you can make the case for the Red Sox.

00:19I wouldn't put them in my power rankings, number one, in the American League.

00:22But it's wide open.

00:24It's more wide open than it has ever been,

00:28and we've been saying it's been wide open for like three years.

00:30Yeah, true.

00:31Except the Red Sox weren't a part of it then.

00:32Well, that's the biggest thing, right?

00:34Last year, when you fell off a cliff, it was your record.

00:38You were still like, okay, but you weren't in the playoffs.

00:42Like, you weren't a wild card team.

00:44Right now, you're a wild card team.

00:46But still, it's like if you went up against any team, any team,

00:50you would have a chance.

00:52And I don't think you necessarily could say that.

00:54Even last year, maybe.

00:56Yeah, Detroit has the best record, then Toronto,

01:00then there's a drop-off to Houston, the Red Sox, the Yankees, the Mariners.

01:04But yet, everyone says, well, the Seattle's best equipped

01:07because what they did at a deadline.

01:08Right.

01:09You look at the Yankees.

01:12Listen, you can't sleep on the Yankees.

01:14The Yankees last night showed how they are built.

01:17This is it.

01:18Where if you get that road on, and by the way,

01:21you get that level of relief pitching,

01:23this is how they're built, Bednar, Devin Williams.

01:27I know Bednar didn't pitch last night,

01:28but Devin Williams, Luke Weaver, that is lockdown.

01:32And then you guys hitting home dingers all over the place.

01:34Like, that works.

01:36They're a flawed team, but every team is a flawed team.

01:39Yeah.

01:41And so I would, I don't know, like, for me right now,

01:44I still probably put Detroit number one.

01:47Yeah.

01:47I mean, they got one of the best pitchers in baseball, right?

01:50So I would say he's the best.

01:51I know you're not going to speak on that.

01:52I cannot confirm or deny that.
