00:00In a game when you need them, in a game in which all of the relievers

00:03have been so busy the last week, they yank them in the six.

00:08It was bizarre.

00:08So it's wild.

00:10And I think he's had a brutal year.

00:12And I think pressure is mounting on Alex Cora,

00:14who apparently was just happy to win the series, Keith.

00:16He doesn't want to build any momentum.

00:17By the way, he didn't win anything in the series.

00:19He sat out a game.

00:21Ramon Vasquez is your guy.

00:22He got chucked two innings into the game the other night,

00:25three innings into the game the other night.

00:27And then he lost last night.

00:29So he had nothing to do with any of the moments.

00:30No, he's having a really bad year.

00:31Yeah.

00:32I don't think there's any – and this has nothing to do with his, you know,

00:37putting his family first.

00:39So whatever side you're on on that, put that to the side.

00:42He's had a bad year.

00:43This team has really high expectations.

00:45They're 51 games in the year.

00:46They have a losing record.

00:48He has butchered this Rafael Devers situation for a guy that is supposed to be

00:54this great player manager.

00:55And he's like the second highest paid manager in the game.

00:58It was important for the Red Sox to bring him back.

01:01The first base situation has been a mess.

01:04So I put that on him.

01:05The way he's used some of these relievers has been a mess.

01:08And the funny thing is, you know, we've now seen almost two full games

01:13of what the team looks like without him.

01:15It's only two games.

01:15It's only two out of 51.

01:17Yeah, I'm okay with that.

01:17But those two games looked pretty good for the Red Sox and for the anti-CORA people.

01:22And they didn't just win.

01:23It was the way he managed the bullpen.

01:24And you looked at it and go, well, that's different.

01:26Vasquez used the bullpen differently than Cora, who, again,

01:29wanted five outs out of Liam Hendricks.

01:31Why?

01:31Yeah.

01:32So let's get to some of the post-game audio.

01:36And he didn't help himself with how he pitched, unfortunately.
