Hello, my friend Jude on Discord wanted me to make an ASMR video, they requested I make one on Gender Nonconformity, keep in mind that I'm not well educated in this so I'll tell you what I know about the subject. #asmr #asmrvideo #asmrvideos #asmrtalking #blog #vlog #vlogger #talkingvideos #talkingvideo
00:01Good morning, everyone. I thought I'd do a let's play today, or not let's play, an ASMR video today for a friend named Jude.
00:10They're a friend from Discord, so I'm going to be acting as calm as possible without kind of raising my voice, which is pretty easy for me because apparently that's like, they said that I have a natural voice for ASMR, so I'm doing this now.
00:24So the topic they wanted me to discuss is gender nonconformity.
00:30Now, this is kind of an interesting subject to me and a little bit more complicated than you might think, mainly because I don't know, like, I know a little bit about a lot of things, but sorry, I'm not prepared.
00:47I don't even have a script for this. I'm just doing from the knowledge that I know, and I'm very, very tired.
00:56I just woke up. I drank a Dr. Thunder. I had a really, really strange dream, too, about I was in Spiroff and Final Fantasy X, and as soon as I left Besaid Island, I ended up in San Andreas.
01:08It was kind of weird. Like, time reversed, I ended up there, and then for some reason they wanted me to do a hit on someone, and I wouldn't do it because it went against my morals.
01:16So I was stuck in San Andreas, or rather Los Santos. Kind of a weird dream. But even in my dreams, I have morals.
01:25Well, anyway, about gender nonconformity. Now, the thing about there being only two genders, which is something I believe for quite a long time until experience proved me otherwise, is quite frankly a very, very big falsity.
01:42There are more genders than you may realize because, I mean, it is about brain structure, but a lot of folks' brains are a little bit differently wired, and brain structure means everything, and so does neural pathways, and certain people just think differently and are different.
02:05I know that sounds kind of cliche, but there's several different genders. There's people that are, like, I don't know. There's people that have a gender, which is, like, they don't think they're, like, any gender, which kind of is backed up by biology because of jellyfish in some ways. They're pretty similar.
02:26There's folks who are cross-gender. There's folks who are cross-gender, like, they're one gender one day, one gender another, and I think that's, like, gender fluidity, which is what my friend Jude is, and, um, I don't know, like, that kind of thing, um, it happens in nature, too, like, with seahorses and stuff.
02:48So, these things do happen in science, and folks are just brainwashed by the system because they want there to be only two so it's easier to control people.
03:01I know that sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it is true. Those in charge want folks to procreate more so there can be more, um, more dead soldiers, as Carlin once said.
03:12It's sad, but it's the truth, and those who can't really reproduce or those who are different from the system are often targeted by it, and they become victims of oppression.
03:28It's normal for many societies to have that happen because it's been happening for thousands of years because, for the most part of our time, folks have been very ignorant of differences.
03:38It's, it's, it's the tribalism in human nature.
03:44It's just how it's been ever since Adam ate the apple.
03:49It's just, that's the nature of a fallen world. We look at our differences when we should be celebrating our differences and not judging them, and celebrating each other for our similarities and becoming friends.
04:00And my friend was also right about Christianity, too, that Jesus does say to love everyone, love your neighbor as yourself, and a lot of folks don't get that because they want to make exceptions of judgment, and Jesus does say in Matthew 7, 1,
04:19And as for people having different genders and stuff, um, that's also in the Bible, too, although the term is more outdated.
04:30It's from Isaiah 56, verses 4 to 5, and Matthew 19, 11.
04:35Of course, the terms have been different throughout the years, but that was one of the first, um, I consider that sort of the first non-binary, which was Unix, and quite frankly, that's pretty cool.
04:51So, um, yeah, that's, I don't know, that's just my two cents into the issue.
05:00I'm not, like, educated in this stuff, it's just what I know from personal experience.
05:05If I'm wrong, please do correct me, but don't be a jerk about it, either, because I'm still learning this stuff, and it's just, I don't know, I've only had, like, one semester in college, and that didn't turn out very well.
05:19So, mainly because I was young and stupid at the time, and I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
05:30And, um, I don't know, like, if I could go back, I'd probably pick a different degree.
05:36I wouldn't pick a degree in psychology, because it's too complicated for my simple little mind to understand.
05:44So, I'm actually pursuing a degree in culinary arts.
05:48I love food.
05:49I love cooking.
05:50I actually made some eggs today for breakfast, and I had some Dr. Thunder.
05:56The cat was sleeping with me all night, too, but it's such a sweetheart.
06:03Um, yeah.
06:08I'm trying to make this into an 11-minute video.
06:10It's not working.
06:11Uh, so, I discovered, um, something very, very interesting.
06:18I found out how to make a vegan ham, and I'm thinking about doing that sometime, but food processors are super expensive, so I'm waiting until Christmas for my birthday.
06:27I'm gonna ask mom for, maybe, maybe I could use the money I get for my birthday and Christmas money to buy a toaster, because all toasters toast toast.
06:37That's, uh, that's a Mario Hotel reference.
06:41I actually have all those infamous CGI games, too, on my computer.
06:46Last night, I played the Star Trek game, and for some reason, it was like a DVD, or it was like one of those remote control games.
06:54I thought that was pretty awesome.
06:55I love Star Trek.
06:58Actually, there's a gender non-conforming character in Star Trek.
07:01Uh, Deep Space Nine.
07:02Uh, Dax, I think, yeah.
07:05I was about to say Gog, but Gog is, um, a Klingon delicacy.
07:10Yeah, my teacher, Mr. Weinberger, from 7th grade, who was my math teacher, he got me into Star Trek.
07:17Nice guy, too.
07:18He actually taught the class of parentheses song, and that song slipped from Red and Free in my head for many, many years.
07:24He's, yeah.
07:27Yeah, Star Trek's very, very inclusive.
07:30Star Wars was similarly, except, um, later seasons, like with Disney canon and stuff, it's like the series isn't as great as it used to be.
07:40It's kind of a shame.
07:43I liked, uh, I actually almost got Bounty Hunter or Sting a couple years ago, and the jerk on Amazon, he ended up, uh, you know, raising up the price of it.
07:54And then, like, he got rid of it so that he wasn't selling it anymore, that he didn't have it in his inventory.
07:58Then he rose the price to, like, $50.
08:01I almost bought it for two.
08:03That was, uh, D-moving his part.
08:07Big time.
08:07I don't like when people scalp like that.
08:10It's sick.
08:12Especially when someone like me would actually enjoy the comics.
08:15That's why we have Archive.org.
08:16You can get free comics.
08:18Speaking of, they also have Resident Evil comics on Archive.org, if you guys are interested.
08:24And they also, that's why I got Mario Eclipse from, too.
08:26And the Mario Sunshine DS game.
08:29A little demo for it, which I saw that some of you folks liked.
08:35I love games.
08:36That's a big hobby of mine.
08:40I think that today, or maybe this weekend, I might be playing Rogue's Galaxy, if you guys are interested in that.
08:47So, um, I'm not too good at the combat, but we'll see how it goes.
08:56But, yeah.
08:58Stuff like that can be fluid.
09:00Gender and all that stuff.
09:02And that's just nature, I guess.
09:05Not everything is as black and white as you think.
09:07Like, we like to compartmentalize stuff as people because it makes us, I don't know, like, makes things simple, but life isn't that simple.
09:20It came, it took me many, many years to understand that.
09:24But I've been seeing it lately, that, like, life is very diverse and it's beautiful.
09:31Jesus made this world for a reason.
09:33It was to make us learn.
09:34And, um, yeah.
09:44I think I'm going to make some Gatorade soon.
09:47And I think I'm going to have some wafers.
09:50I love vanilla wafers.
09:51They're my favorites.
09:52I used to eat them all the time.
09:53And when I was a kid, Mom used to always give them to me.
09:59They're her favorite snack of mine.
10:00And she still does on occasion, but I'm unfortunately on a diet.
10:06I'm over 167 pounds and 5'3", so a little bit overweight.
10:14Still, I don't mind.
10:15It's just I'm worried about my heart.
10:17That's all.
10:18If it wasn't about my heart, I'd be fine.
10:20That's good.
10:22This mirror's interesting.
10:25Well, anyway, that is it.
10:27I am going to upload this video soon and possibly I will upload Rogue's Galaxy this, um, I don't know, this weekend sometime.
10:38Tomorrow I got my psychiatrist and, um, I don't know, it's about time to tell her how I've been feeling about some stuff because I feel like I finally have a voice in the matter now.
10:51Okay, everybody, have a good one and, uh, I will see you all in the next video.
