We start the day with Eric ending his vlog with Beck. Amberlynn says she didn’t film anything today because she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She had intentions to start a new diet plan but decided to put it off for a couple days with the B monster. A viewer with similar issues as her suggested a new way of counting calories, so she believes it will be easier for her to stick to this different way of thinking. She plans to weigh in tomorrow, but is worried she will have a new highest weight.

00:22Hey guys!
00:30So, I just want to start off by saying like not all of my videos are going to be sit down videos.
00:36Today was one of those days where I didn't film anything.
00:39I haven't been at my best right now.
00:42I just kind of want to sit here, talk to you guys about my whole day, kind of like how I've been today, what I've ate today.
00:49There is a new plan that I'm going to be doing.
00:52So, I want to talk to you guys more about that.
00:54So, last night after I ended my video, I said, you know, all I have right now is to count calories, which is very true.
01:01That is all I have right now.
01:03On Monday, I'm going to be calling around and trying to get me an appointment for a therapist or a nutritionist and just for me to talk to someone and see how it makes me feel.
01:12I know it's going to be, you know, I need to see this person more than once to actually, you know, get what I need out of it.
01:18I am scared.
01:19I am nervous.
01:20You guys know all about that because I've talked more about that.
01:22So, I planned on waking up and counting them calories.
01:25I was replying to my messages on my fitness pal last night and someone messaged me and we ended up messaging for hours back and forth.
01:33I know she's watching.
01:34So, hello.
01:35She lost over a hundred pounds in six months because she was going to, she went to a surgeon because she wanted to get weight loss surgery.
01:42The surgeon gave her a general diet plan to follow for the next following months.
01:47I'm going to explain that plan in a second.
01:49She started doing that, which is, this is a general, general, general plan that people do get.
01:56It makes a lot of sense.
01:57So, she explained it to me where for breakfast, she would eat 600 calories.
02:02Between breakfast and lunch, she would have a protein shake or a protein bar.
02:05Lunch, 600 calories.
02:06In between lunch and dinner, she'd have a protein shake or a protein bar.
02:10And then for dinner, 600 calories.
02:12She was allowed to have diet soda, but with no caffeine.
02:15She was supposed to get her heart rate over 120 beats per minute for 10 minutes a day.
02:21So, all of these things is what she did.
02:23And it made her lose 100 pounds in six months.
02:26Her starting weight is my starting weight for the most part.
02:29There was just so many similarities.
02:31You know, she slipped up for a little bit and she was like, let's do this together.
02:34And I was like, yes, let's do this together.
02:36So, we were both supposed to wake up today and start it.
02:39And I just figured I would give this a shot because this is something different.
02:43This is like a set amount of calories I'm supposed to eat for each meal.
02:47And not only that, but I'm allowed to have protein bars.
02:50I did do some research on this.
02:52I was Googling like what kind of plans are patients who want weight loss surgery?
02:57Like what do they get put on?
02:59There's like quite a few websites where it shows like this is something that people who are my size can do,
03:06even if they don't plan on getting weight loss surgery.
03:08When you do the math, I'll be eating around like 2,200 calories by doing this, which I wanted to eat 2,500.
03:14This is going to work out really good.
03:16I've never done anything where like I had a set amount of calories for each meal,
03:20which for me, I feel like this will be better because I won't constantly be thinking,
03:24Oh God, how many calories am I going to eat for so-and-so meal?
03:27So I can save this many calories for so-and-so meal.
03:29And something else that's going to be really different is when I count calories
03:32and I'm being good on a diet, following my weight loss journey,
03:36my breakfast is always like 200 to 300 calories.
03:39So it's never big.
03:40It's always my lightest meal of the day.
03:42But by following this new plan, I'll be eating 600 calories for breakfast.
03:46And I feel like that's going to keep me fuller longer.
03:49And I'm not going to constantly be hungry.
03:51And I think what's cool also is before I even have lunch, I'm allowed to have a protein bar or a protein shake.
03:56I feel like all throughout the day, I am going to feel satisfied.
03:58And something else that is super awesome is I'm allowed to have Sprite Zero.
04:01Obviously, I'm going to keep drinking water.
04:03The person who's following this plan, if they get hungry after all meals are done,
04:07you're allowed to have 15 calorie rice cakes or you're allowed to have some pickles,
04:11which pickles are very low in calories.
04:13I feel like I'm going to give this a go after, you know, talking to my new friend about it
04:16and my new weight loss buddy.
04:17I'm so freaking excited.
04:18I will say though, I woke up today.
04:20I thought I was going to like do this thing, start my new plan.
04:24I was like so freaking excited.
04:25I woke up in a really bad mood.
04:27I don't know what it was.
04:29Like, usually this happens when I get very little sleep.
04:33I got, I want to say it was around seven hours of sleep, but it was miserable sleep.
04:37I kept waking up.
04:38I was tossing and turning.
04:39My Fitbit said I didn't even go in deep sleep for like, I only like deep sleep for maybe five minutes.
04:45That's why I love having a Fitbit.
04:46I wear it when I'm sleeping so I can like see how I sleep.
04:49I woke up so many times throughout the night.
04:51It was just really bad.
04:52And when I get really bad sleep, that carries on my mood for the next day.
04:56So I didn't start my plan today.
04:58I've had Mexican takeout.
05:00It was really bad weather today.
05:01We were actually going to go to a Chinese buffet, but we didn't feel like driving that far because the weather was so bad.
05:06It was raining so hard that the streets look like a river.
05:09So once it cooled down just a little bit, we drove a little bit down the road, which was a lot closer than the Chinese buffet.
05:14And we just did some Mexican takeout.
05:16Brought it home.
05:17We ate that.
05:18I've been doing nothing but watching movies today.
05:19Like it's been just very not great.
05:21So I've only ate once today.
05:23It is 11 PM.
05:24I'm actually going to be eating again later.
05:26And I already know I'm going to have some ramen noodle actually.
05:29And I have a candy bar that I'm going to eat.
05:31I have some hot Cheetos.
05:32So it's just really bad.
05:34I feel like I come on here every day saying the same thing about how I'm swollen, not following any kind of plan or anything like that.
05:41But like with my new weight loss buddy, the new motivation that I'm feeling and things like that, I feel like tomorrow I really want to do this.
05:49And I can film a what I ate today video tomorrow and kind of explain again in the video of what I'm going to be doing.
05:55Like if this works for her, we are so similar and this works for so many other people, even people who don't want to get weight loss surgery.
06:01This works for them.
06:02I don't see why it wouldn't work for me because it just seems legit.
06:05I just think it's cool.
06:06I'm going to be able to have a big breakfast without feeling guilty because I know for lunch I'll have 600 calories and for dinner I'll also have 600 calories.
06:13I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow.
06:14I'm very nervous that I'm going to be at a whole new starting weight.
06:17I kind of have that feeling.
06:18I'm just super swollen, horrible water retention, so much sodium, so many calories that I'm putting into my body that I just, I don't need to be, but I'm doing it.
06:27That's why I need to see someone because I know I shouldn't be, but I'm still doing it.
06:31There's something wrong with that.
06:32So please, I hope tomorrow, I just, I hope this works for me.
06:38And I think what's really cool is the girl said, you know, sometimes, okay, I'm not saying I'm going to do this, but it gave me hope.
06:44She says, sometimes if I was on the road, I would go to McDonald's, I'd get a McChicken and a small fry.
06:50That's automatically 600 calories.
06:52Of course, those aren't healthy options and it's not things that I want to choose for myself, but it's neat to know if I just stay within what I'm supposed to stay in 600 calories per each meal that I'll see a weight loss.
07:04And I feel like it'll cause me to think less about food because I feel like a lot of the time I'll a lot because I start feeling overwhelmed with food because I'm constantly thinking about what am I going to have for next?
07:14How many calories am I going to allow myself?
07:16But already having a set stamp of how many calories I'll be eating is going to help a lot.
07:20I feel like I'm rambling.
07:21I'm really nervous that I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and be at a heavier weight.
07:23My current heaviest weight is 500 pounds.
07:26Wait, 500.4, ain't it?

07:32You guys can do some praying if that's what you want.

07:36I really want to wake up tomorrow and do this.
07:38I'm already thinking about what am I going to have for breakfast?
07:40I have 600 calories worth of breakfast.
