The cabinet has approved the online gaming bill in a meeting today, according to sources. The bill is expected to be introduced in the Lok Sabha tomorrow, during the remaining two days of the monsoon session.

00:10Remember, this is very important because online gaming has been in the midst of controversy for quite some time now.

00:26They have been asking for such kind of legislation and now it seems it might be a punishable offence.

00:37Well, Piyush, do tell us what are the main points of the bill and when will it be set in front of the Lok Sabha?

00:48Well, what we are now learning, Anjali, is that this bill is likely to be introduced in the Lok Sabha tomorrow

00:53because this bill has now been cleared by the Cabinet.

00:57Still, there are two days less of a monsoon session and this bill has come in the wake of a rise in fraud cases in recent months

01:05where we have seen as to how the investigative agencies have stepped up actions against the various celebrities

01:11also promoting a few such applications and that's why to regulate this entire system.

01:17The online gaming bill was cleared by the Cabinet today and most likely it will be introduced tomorrow.

01:25And sources within the government, Anjali, were telling us that there are a lot of complaints which it was receiving

01:32and that's right, this bill had to be cleared and now finally we can expect this to be brought in Parliament tomorrow.
