00:00This is not our war. The United States is not in a war. Ukraine is in a war. We happen to be in the

00:07role of the only country in the world, with the only leader in the world, that can actually bring

00:11Putin to a table to even discuss these things. Welcome back, everybody. 19 minutes after the

00:16hour now, this is a Fox News alert. As you know, President Trump trying to broker yet another

00:20peace deal. But rather than applaud the push for peace, the far left media is attacking the

00:26president. I believe that the humiliation for the United States, the loss of credibility

00:32and reputation yesterday in Alaska was much worse than the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

00:39That meeting was a disaster. It was an embarrassment for the United States. It was a failure.

00:46Putin got everything he wanted. I mean, first of all, he wanted that photo op, right?

00:50Vladimir Putin got out of this summit meetings, not only the nice photo op on the red carpet and

00:55in the presidential limousine. What he got out of it was essentially a free pass to continue the war

01:00for an indefinite amount of time. Well, that Chris Murphy is a walking soundbite for his party,

01:05never off message, no matter what happens. Now, what they do ignore clearly is that under the

01:11Biden administration, there was no end in sight for the war at all. But even as President Trump

01:16prepares to meet with Vladimir Zelensky and European leaders tomorrow at the White House, at least there

01:20is some hope that maybe, just maybe, the war might end sometime soon. You know, Katie, I mentioned

01:28Murphy because this is the thing about Democrats. If nothing else, they are disciplined. They stay

01:33on message. You rarely see anybody stray off the reservation because they know they have a talking

01:39point and they will run with that talking point no matter what, even in spite of the fact that we're

01:44all out here. We can see with our own eyes the president's trying to make something happen.

01:48Yeah. The freak out over this from Democrats is just an indictment of their own failures when it

01:53comes to the politicians they supported and the issue of Ukraine. So Barack Obama loses Crimea under

02:00his watch to Russia. Putin invades and takes Crimea with Joe Biden as the vice president.

02:06Then you have Joe Biden with the Ukraine portfolio saying NATO, they can't join NATO because Ukraine is

02:12too corrupt, too corrupt, too corrupt. Well, his family then goes and engages in the very corruption

02:17that's preventing Ukraine from joining NATO, which would have prevented them from being engaged

02:22or invaded by Russia. Then you have Putin invading when President Joe Biden comes into office and we

02:30have this horrific war that is now lasting almost four years. They own all of that, whereas President

02:35Trump is the one during his first term who sent them javelins instead of blankets. He's sending them

02:41negotiations instead of allowing Russia to continue leading Russians and Ukrainians to the slaughter by

02:48threatening Putin with sanctions that would continue to cripple his economy after he's already squeezed

02:52them on so many ways. India sanctions, the EU deal with $750 billion in energy that they buy from the

02:59United States. So they're freaking out because the president is getting results here and they don't

03:05want to talk about their record when it comes to Russia and Ukraine because it's a very, very poor

03:09one that Putin is winning. Especially if he can push this over the finish line, Anita. Any expectation

03:15for anything big this week? What do you think? Well, you know, I think, look, he got to a meeting.

03:20Yeah, which was part of the goal, right? And to Katie's point, the last time President Biden met with

03:27Putin was in December of 2021 during a Russia-U.S. summit. Now, he tried to get a meeting with Putin

03:33after the war had started. Couldn't get one. Putin said no. So at least President Trump got to first

03:40base. You know, if you look at this, Biden struck out, right? We all hope for the best. And Zelensky

03:46will be at that meeting and he will put his two cents in and see what he thinks. But all these

03:52people criticizing it, oh, Putin got everything he wanted. Well, no one got anything yet.

03:57Yeah. You know? It's still going on, Jason. I mean, let's be honest. It's easy for the

04:02mockingbirds to say, ah, look at the optics, this, that, and the other. I don't care about

04:06the optics. I care about results. And I think that's the position the White House would take

04:09right now. Well, I think Katie did a good job of laying out how devastating had it been under

04:15Obama and under Biden. Yeah. I mean, and I heard this Democrat, and I had to watch the tape a second

04:21time saying, oh, this, me, you know, the idea that Donald Trump met with Putin was worse than

04:28Americans dying on the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Are you kidding me? They have so,

04:35they are so disrespectful of our United States military, where you have literally all of these

04:40people who've lost their lives and the botched withdrawal, and you're comparing that? That is

04:46just absurd. Look, Donald Trump has given us the best chance for peace that we have seen yet. And

04:52he's doing everything he possibly can. This game isn't over yet. Right. The United States of America

04:58is the military and the economic superpower. That's right. And as we've been talking about,

05:03Kevin, you and me, the superpower card can be played in shutting Russia down to make them a third

05:10world country, essentially. So don't think that Donald Trump is just rolling over. He's doing

05:16more to create peace in this world, as exemplified by the six, seven other wars that he got rid of.

05:22That's right. That creating a chance for peace, real lasting peace in Ukraine. Yeah, go ahead.

05:28I wonder what the parents of those U.S. soldiers who were killed in the Afghanistan withdrawal

05:34think when they hear something like that, that this meeting was worse than the withdrawal. It is

05:40such a slap in the face. Yeah, it's just the indignity of it is beyond the pale.
