00:00If you're watching this, that means you exist on this floating ball we all call Earth.
00:09Spinning at over a thousand miles an hour, circling the sun.
00:14And somehow, against all odds, you're still here.
00:19This planet holds almost 200 countries.
00:23Over 8 billion people, thousands of languages, millions of traditions.
00:27But you, you were born into one of them.
00:31One culture, one way of life, one tiny little corner of the world.
00:37And if you're lucky, you might get 70 times around the sun.
00:4270 winters, 70 summers, 70 birthdays.
00:48The question is, how are you going to spend that time and what does it all mean to you?
00:54For me, I know I wanted to go into the unknown.
00:59It was calling me.
01:00I wanted to see what was out there.
01:02And when I heard that there were 195 countries in the world, I'm like, why not?
01:08Just, let's just go to all of them.
01:10Oh, and let's go by myself.
01:14Let's do it.
01:14And 8 years later, I have arrived at my 137th country.
01:22Beautiful San Marino.
01:24It is a gorgeous country that is tucked into like the armpit of Italy, but fancy enough,
01:32it doesn't belong to Italy.
01:34It's its own sovereign nation.
01:35If you want to go to San Marino, you have to wake up early and head to the train station
01:40from a nearby city.
01:42I left from Florence, got on one train to another.
01:46And from that train, you get on another.
01:49And from that train, you get on another train.
01:52You arrive in Bologna.
01:54From Bologna, you can get on a train to Rimini.
01:56Because Rimini is the closest city to San Marino.
02:01When you arrive in Rimini, you can get a bus ticket.
02:05And that bus takes you straight to gorgeous San Marino.
02:09This country is a popular tourist destination for people already traveling in the Tuscan area of Italy.
02:16Although San Marino is tucked off to the corner.
02:20So it's quite the trip.
02:22San Marino is the world's sixth smallest country.
02:25It's literally just this village that's tucked all the way at the top of a mountain.
02:32Absolutely gorgeous.
02:34When I arrived in San Marino, it's a very mountainous region.
02:38So there's just this little adorable train that takes you to your hotel.
02:43You have to tell the driver where your hotel is.
02:46Pay him and he'll drop you off there.
02:48I was too early arriving at my hotel.
02:51So I had to walk around, find something to do for three or four hours.
02:56Which was no problem at all.
02:58Because I wanted to explore.
03:00First impressions.
03:02It is just gorgeous.
03:04Do I have any other Princess Diary fans?
03:08Well, I'm a Princess Diary fan.
03:10And this just looked like Genovia.
03:12This is a Christian country founded for exactly that reason.
03:18Saint Marino, whom the country is named after, was fleeing the Roman Empire because he wanted to keep his Christian faith and practice it freely.
03:28So he fled to the mountains and created the country of San Marino, which is still a sovereign nation to this day and a lot for those same religious reasons.
03:38It is a gorgeous country with incredibly kind people.
03:43And I feel so blessed to be here.
03:58You guys, country 137.
04:07Insane.
04:09This is so cool.
04:13This is just so cool.
04:28This is so cool.
04:58If you come to San Marino and you're not a walker, you're going to have problems.
05:04In this little tiny country, there are really no taxis.
05:09Everything is uphill or downhill.
05:12And I mean, it's steep.
05:15So it was quite the walk.
05:17I was so excited to try the food because I heard about San Marino food.
05:22Although it's very similar to Italian food, I was still excited.
05:26But my restaurant gave me like a free little appetizer and it was delicious.
05:32And I got one of the most popular dishes here, which is prosciutto and melon.
05:37Also very popular in Italy.
05:39And I got a tortellini pasta with blue crab because seafood is very popular here, being that San Marino is near the ocean.
05:49Then I got panna cotta made in-house with a homemade raspberry sauce.
05:53And I can't even tell you the bliss, you guys, that I was in.
05:58One of the most exciting parts of traveling is getting to see that first look at your hotel room.
06:05Let's check it out.
06:15My gosh.
06:16Okay, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait.
06:19Heart attack.
06:20I'm having heart attack.
06:22I'm having heart conversations.
06:23Heart attack.
06:24Heart attack.
06:25Heart attack.
06:25Heart attack.
06:26Heart attack.
06:29Okay, wait.
06:32Uh, okay.
06:34Alright, let's do a room tour.
06:36Okay, you guys, this is my hotel.
06:40Oh my gosh, in San Marino.
06:41First of all, the blue color in here is insane.
06:44There's like a blue theme.
06:46And then we got this insane view.
06:51Are you kidding me?
06:52Of San Marino.
06:54I literally can see the entire country from my room.
07:00Insane.
07:02Oh my gosh, okay, and then the bathroom.
07:04Oh my gosh, okay.
09:45I have a code for you. The code is San Marino. It'll give you 15% off your entire purchase.
09:52I won't keep you guys too long. Let's get back into the vlog.
09:54Look at this Greek yogurt. Yes, thank you.
13:06There's a lot of viewpoints.
13:30Oh, there's the cancer in the S.T.A.
