00:00My story I guess I will born and raised I was born and raised in New Jersey to a single mother
00:16lots of uh I have four brothers one sister and um I grew up very
00:22devastated very sad I was a very miserable child um I had a very difficult um childhood because of um
00:37I had no father figure and there was a lot of men this is not a man hitting video by the way we love
00:45men but there was a lot of not good men in my life a lot of them were very abusive to me
00:53um and I grew up very scared very devastated very much looking for love because I didn't feel like
01:05I could find it um or I didn't feel like I had it um I grew up uh never really fitting in anywhere
01:18and so from a young age I was very much questioning the point of life like I remember being around age
01:29six seven or eight or nine and being like what is the point of this I was so miserable I was so sad
01:37I without getting into too much detail um I was going through some serious abuse very serious abuse
01:48and I was numb I was angry everybody knew me as like what's wrong with that girl from a young age I was
02:00weird always by myself always angry I probably looked a lot of people actually this is like
02:09there's nothing wrong with being special needs but a lot of people thought that I was special needs as a
02:13child they thought I was autistic or something because I was weird I was very quiet I didn't talk
02:20to anyone a person could come talk to me and I didn't respond I'd sit in corners all by myself
02:26I would just stare at people and so a lot of people actually thought I was maybe autistic or something
02:32because I was beyond angry beyond uh
02:42confused like why am I here what am I doing on this planet why did I get born into this
02:48and why do I feel like I have no allies why do I feel alone so I go off to college and
02:57I never felt like I fit in anywhere and I guess like because I'm from New Jersey
03:04I'd never been around but well I don't yeah I think going to Boston for college was like
03:10the furthest I'd ever been away from home and I thought I felt like oh like this is gonna be me this
03:18is gonna be who I am this I'm gonna morph myself into like a different person um I remember I told
03:25people not to call me Mary Jane I'm like call me Mary because I was like trying to like distance
03:30myself from I I thought like I finally had an opportunity to become a different person and kind
03:35of distance myself from I don't know a person I didn't like and I thought I was gonna have the
03:44ability to shape my own life now so I go to Boston and it's a mess it's a mess like I go there for school
03:53and still don't fit in I was expecting to fit in I was expecting to feel alive I was expecting to feel
04:00like oh I'm gonna start my life now and it was not it was completely the opposite um and so my sister
04:08had been she went on like a foreign exchange um she went on this foreign exchange program to China where
04:18she was only supposed to be there for like two or three months on like a you know when your college
04:24has like a foreign exchange program but then she ended up liking China so much that she stayed so she
04:30was only supposed to be there two or three months but she ended up staying because um she's very pretty
04:37and very model-esque and so she immediately got signed to a modeling agency when she was in China
04:47so she ended up staying there she I was not in such a bad place that I was like can I just come visit you
04:55like I was so lost so broken so numb my life felt pointless I didn't know what I was doing
05:01so it didn't matter to me where I was on earth so my sister was already in China I had never left the
05:06country in that capacity so I was like can I just come stay with you for like a month or two months
05:12or three months and she's like yeah come so I go to China and I didn't know that I was never going to
05:21be around her never she was always busy this girl was like a very serious model and she was busy all day
05:29so I'm in China by myself from the morning until like 10 pm at night I was alone and I was very scared
05:36at first because I was afraid to be around by myself I had pictured myself being with my sister
05:41all day and I wasn't she was busy so I had to figure out I feel like it's so crazy you don't know
05:48what God's doing that's why you have to trust the process you guys I was like since I was so
05:56in a place where I didn't know what what in the world I was doing with my life
05:59um I was like you know what whatever she's off by herself all day or she's off working all day let
06:09me just try to explore and just walk around and explore the country and just I don't know whatever
06:19so I started walking and exploring and I was being changed into the girl I am right now the solo
06:26traveler that I am right now because let me tell you something I was nothing like this before
06:31nothing I was not outgoing I was not brave I was not um open-minded or anything I was just an American
06:41girl from Jersey that I don't know I just randomly ended up in China for some reason I was not adventurous
06:48so I was literally being shaped in that period where my sister was working all day and I didn't
06:56even have the opportunity to be with her into this solo traveler that has been solo traveling ever since
07:04um and it's so crazy that's why I tell people to trust the process of your life trust the process
07:09if you're in a season of your life and you're like what is happening God might be trying to shape and form
07:14something in you long story short I started this YouTube channel because I started becoming obsessed
07:22with traveling and everyone was saying one thing right and then the reality was different everybody
07:29said this about China and then China was totally different so then I started going more places I'm like
07:35wait the media is not being truthful about these places I thought China was this hellhole this
07:45communist hellhole with sad people and all this pollution and I just thought it was dark and like
07:50and it ended up being one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen with my eyes the culture's
07:56amazing the people are welcoming I learned how to speak Chinese and I just caught the bug like I was
08:02it was I was now hooked and I was like I wanted to see more I wanted to go to Japan I'm like no I
08:10gotta go to Thailand I gotta go to um everywhere I possibly can go and at first I just wanted to keep
08:17traveling I had no real goal of seeing every country in the world until maybe I had realized I'd been to
08:25like 10 or 15 countries I had been it was so easy to travel around Asia when I was living in Shanghai
08:32um Thailand it was so cheap Japan it was so cheap the flights were so cheap I got myself like a
08:38seven dollar a night hostel I was eating cheap street food it was so cheap and easy so when I started
08:45making YouTube videos um it was very much just me trying to show you guys a different perspective of
08:53what you might see online and I was trying to show people that real life is so much different from
08:59what they show you on the media what they show you on the news and that you should travel because
09:04the world is so beautiful and big and um there's not that much to be afraid of that was kind of like
09:11the mission of my channel right and then when I found out that I could make this thing
09:16like a career a job it's like this is what I want to do this is what I want to do
09:21so it was about I don't know like six years ago that I finally became serious about wanting to
09:28visit every country in the world because I'm like I think I can do this I think I can visit every
09:33country I know like if I've done these countries I can do every country why not and so many people
09:40were telling me you can't do that you can't visit every country in the world there's countries that
09:44there's wars going on I've been to so many countries before they people would tell me
09:49and every time somebody would tell me that like I can't do something it would like fuel me fuel me
09:54fuel me to go see more until I finally decided you know I'm gonna visit every country in the world
09:59because I don't like when people put borders on me or put borders on anybody and say what a person can
10:05and can't do right but I think to be if I'm very honest with you I think my channel maybe morphed into
10:14something that I never intended let me explain I think that the way my channel stands right now
10:24is not an accurate depiction of reality like I kind of have this understanding of how
10:38people see me and it's not accurate a lot of people see me as this rich girl I'm wealthy
10:45oh why not let's just go to Brazil oh let's do this do this because yeah I'm wealthy and let's just
10:52watch me travel look at me look at me look at me I'm in Japan look at me look at me look at me I'm in
10:59South Africa you know and I'm just having fun I'm just rich and if that is how anybody perceives me
11:09this has got to stop today this has got to stop today okay I

11:18when I was asking God a couple years ago for a strong purpose I asked him specifically that I
11:23wanted a strong purpose I I told him that this whole life thing was not very I I think being honest
11:31with God is amazing right I love I think he loves when we're honest and I told him a couple years ago
11:38that this life was not fun for me I was like I don't even care about being here like you can take
11:44me now unless you can use my life for some like amazing thing like I'm good I literally told him a
11:54couple years ago like I'm over it I don't even want to be here I don't want to be on this planet
12:01you can kill me if you want to you can make me die if you want to because like I don't want to be
12:06here I don't like it here unless you can you can use my life for something bigger like I want to be
12:14like attached to some like big thing that is so much bigger than me otherwise I don't care about
12:22being here I don't want to be here to be pretty or cute or to be what are the greatest things of
12:28life I don't know what do people live for outside of I don't know that just to be popular or to be
12:34pretty or to be married or to have kids or to make a lot of money those things don't matter to me as
12:39far as me wanting to just do that with my life and then die so I literally told him I'm like I'm
12:44good you can you can take me unless I have a purpose I want a strong purpose with my life something that
12:53is so much bigger than me that way then I think my life will be worth living and I can do this and I
13:01will fight for it and I strongly believe that he did and I believe and I want to use this platform
13:10to encourage people I want I see the world we're living in where everybody's afraid
13:15everybody's scared everybody is scared of their own planet and and people have like nobody's mind is
13:26like I feel like it's like the matrix like you just get downloaded this life that you're supposed
13:33to live in and you just do it because that's just what you do you're not really an individual
13:38you're just a number in a sea full of numbers and this is how you're supposed to live your life
13:44this is how you're supposed to think this is what you're supposed to do don't do anything outside of
13:49that and then you die and I was like no I'm fighting that I am fighting that I want to fight for people
13:57to be brave I want to fight for people to think and live outside the box and not to be afraid and to keep
14:03pushing when you feel down when you feel knocked down so I feel like this whole mission has become
14:08that if this mission of visiting every country in the world is just about Mary Jane doing something
14:14cool then screw it I'm I'm being so honest with you if this whole mission of visiting every country
14:20in the world well yeah like well Mary Jane is really cool she visited every country in the world
14:26that is so I don't curse but if I did curse I'd say the f-word that is so effing stupid and screw
14:33this whole thing screw this everything I'm doing if it were just about me like yeah let's go have let's
14:40go to why not let's go to Brazil no this mission is not that it better not be that and if it's that
14:49it's being shut down right now I'm not rich I'm actually fighting for my freaking life you guys
14:57and I'm doing it because I believe in this mission because I truly believe that I have a good
15:05um I believe God has given me my my my my request my request was that I wanted my life to be something
15:15attached to some big purpose right and I believe the purpose was to help people to bring people out
15:22of dark places to show people to push against the fear mongering that's going on um to show people the
15:32world to show people a girl that refuses to freaking quit and there's been so many times that I was so
15:39close to quitting let's be honest I went through some serious internet controversies
15:47I have had some serious hate I have had some serious mudslinging on my name I've had serious um
15:57I've had every reason to quit I have had every reason to quit there's so there are I would say
16:04there were two times two serious times where I was so ready to quit everything I was ready to quit
16:11in my childhood as well though so the thing about I think the reason that I never gave up this mission
16:21and never gave up YouTube or any of the thing I've I've been trying to do is because I remember being
16:28in this place as a kid where I just wanted to crawl into a ball and die just I just want to crawl
16:33and be like god take me I don't even need to be here you know um or having thoughts about doing
16:40that to myself and there was a time yeah there was a time where on YouTube I felt like I didn't have
16:51one person who believed in me not one person didn't think I was just this horrible person I didn't have
16:57one well no I didn't feel like I had any allies I felt like everyone was against me everyone in real
17:05life and online I felt like I had nobody to talk to nobody who believed in me nobody who thought
17:13good things about me nobody who supported me and I'm telling you that went on for a long time where I
17:20didn't have a single ally not one and I wanted to crawl into a ball cry and just die in a corner
17:28somewhere until Jesus until Jesus hi the thing about the thing about life is no matter if you're on a
17:41mission to visit every single country in the world or whatever the heck you're doing with life right
17:46whether you're a single mom um trying to raise kids all by yourself or you got some crazy health
17:52diagnosis and you're fighting to stay alive or um I don't know anything any situation that you're in
17:58the easy thing would be to crawl quit and go crawl up in a ball somewhere and just say I give up
18:05let me die or I give up screw this whole thing that's the easy thing to do
18:12the hard thing to do is to dust yourself off get back up and try again and I bought myself a bible
18:21and that's the best thing I've ever done in my whole life and I read it and I saw evidence after
18:27evidence after evidence after evidence that this whole life thing was never about me in the first
18:33place it didn't have to be about how good I am or how awesome I am or how cool I am because that is
18:40filthy rags God says our works are like filthy rags to him God doesn't care about your talents and your
18:47abilities and how pretty you are that we're all gonna die one day seriously it means nothing
18:54but I did see in the bible that he Jesus died on and say with me say with me there's somebody that
19:04fixed all of this and it has nothing to do with me that's why I refused to crawl in a ball and just go
19:12give up one day I refused because I was very close and I had every reason to every reason to just quit
19:19give up and just go sit crawled up somewhere on in a corner and just wait to die
19:26but I read the bible and there is a man that fixed all of this all of the sorrow all of the mistakes
19:33all of the bad things done to you all of everything that's going here on this planet he fixed it
19:39he died to give you life everything a clean slate a reason to not go to hell a reason to not live in
19:49pain and sorrow and regret and self-loathing and the thing I I learned is feeling sorry for yourself
19:56is pride the same way we don't like pride like you know when you see a celebrity that is just full of
20:03themselves you know how much of a turnoff that is right pride is the that's the same thing as feeling
20:08bad for yourself you guys it's just the other side of the coin when you're like oh nobody likes me
20:14nobody believes in me nobody I have a bad life and that is pride it's the other side of the coin
20:23it's prideful get yourself a bible stop living in your head
20:29get yourself a bible and you see that there's a man who created you
20:32he wakes you up every day he fills your lungs with air he's the reason you're alive look at all
20:38the crazy stuff that's gone down on the planet and you're still breathing you have every reason
20:44and I had every reason to say I refuse to quit I refuse to quit I am going for this thing because
20:53I believe in myself I stopped looking for who who believes in me nobody believes nobody believes in me
20:59shut up and I'm talking to myself I'm talking to myself nobody wants to hear it get up either
21:06you're gonna go quit and feel sorry for yourself or you're gonna give this thing 110% you're gonna
21:11keep getting up because every I have so many I have my bible where's my bible it changed my life
21:19it gave me so many examples of people who are not perfect they just refuse to quit and that's the thing
21:24that I decided to do and that's the thing that I'm doing right now but if I had one thing one thing
21:31I don't want this channel one thing I don't want this channel to be is this vain representation of
21:38myself where it's just about me look at me look at me aren't I cute look at me look at me in Paris look
21:44at me and like no I don't give a crap okay about any of that I'm not that cool I'm not that like
21:54nothing's that awesome about me but I am connected to a bigger purpose I asked God to use my life I
22:02asked him to use everything everything so I can help people and so my life and my purpose and my voice
22:08and my efforts can be attached to something that's way bigger than me and actually help people so
22:14that's why I'm fighting that's why I'm still posting videos that's why I'm still on this mission to visit
22:19every single country by myself why because I want God to use my life I want to be used I want people to
22:25look at me and say she is still going I'm gonna keep going she had every reason to quit and she didn't
22:30I have every reason to quit and I'm not she keeps getting back up even though people throw
22:37stones at her she keeps getting back up so I can have stones thrown at me and I can keep getting
22:42back up she's not afraid I'm not going to be afraid and I want to use my voice for good I want to inspire
22:49women to be different in this social media era I want women to know that there's so much beauty about
22:55you when it has nothing to do with your body I told you guys how God cleaned me up in so many ways
23:00he fixed my attitude I used to have a nasty attitude he fixed my mouth I used to have a nasty mouth
23:05he fixed my confidence I used to have none I used to strip down and try to use my body to get
23:11attention I want women to look at me and be like I like Mary Jane I want to learn hopefully before her
23:21because I had to go through it to learn it don't sexualize yourself and think that that is beauty
23:27I don't want girls to be on the internet thinking that they have to be sexy to get attention because
23:31it is a quicker road it is a quicker road to attention but let somebody admire you for
23:37something other than your body keep your body sacred dress nice but not putting your butt cheeks
23:44and your boobs and your that all matters this is the internet you are so much more beautiful than
23:52makeup you put on your skin or or sexy clothes and you shouldn't have anybody on the internet the
23:58internet is like ruling the world these days and your footprint online doesn't have to be about
24:04you it doesn't have to be about your sexiness or your beauty or how perfect your skin looks or how
24:09good you look to other people you know it doesn't because I almost went down that road I want people to
24:15look at me and be like she learns and she keeps going and she's trying to push it I'm trying to push
24:23against the grain this current of life while I'm doing it myself and showing you guys it as well
24:30I'm trying to use my voice for good I'm not rich and I realized recently that I don't go hard enough
24:38I don't go hard enough to do the thing that I'm trying to do I feel like maybe I'm going 65 or even 70
24:48miles an hour I'm giving like 70 maybe percent and like it's not cutting it it's not cutting it I
24:58cannot do this at the rate that it's going right now I think that okay so me trying to visit here like
25:10so I said all that to preface why I just gave you the why I'm doing this but the how is the thing that is
25:19lacking it's the thing that's not really working right now I don't want anyone to think that I'm
25:25just this rich person who's traveling and it's effortless because if I'm being very honest I do
25:31try to look effortless it is a big effort for me to not look I don't want to look desperate and I don't
25:39want to look like I'm not doing well if that makes sense like I don't want to present online or like
25:49to the audience or like the people that I'm not struggling or like this isn't hard and extremely
25:59hard on me and extremely at like at a place where like I don't even know every day if I can keep
26:07going but that's where it is that's where it is and if I'm being very honest I try to hide it I try to
26:14hide that this like is always right on the edge of like not working like it probably already is off
26:25the ledge we already fell off the ledge of like not working as far as like me being able to do this and
26:32afford this I sold everything you guys I literally did in the beginning of the year because I wanted to
26:39go to Africa I wanted to visit the entire continent of Africa you guys looking back I'm like what the
26:45heck was I thinking I did not have the money for it I sold everything you guys I sold every single
26:53pair of shoes that I have I have one pair of shoes because I remember it was February I sold everything
26:59I sold my camera that's why you guys haven't gotten cinematic videos I sold everything I sold my camera
27:06I sold my laptop I don't even have a laptop I sold it I edit everything on my iPad and uh I'm gonna show
27:15you guys so you believe me but um this iPad was actually gifted to me
27:23I edit my YouTube videos on an iPad because it's cheaper than a laptop and I sold my laptop I sold my
27:36camera I've been using my phone um literally I've been using my phone this entire year to make videos
27:43that's why you guys haven't gotten any cinematic videos I love creating cinematic videos but I sold
27:49my camera I sold all I have three camera lenses I sold everything because I didn't have enough money
27:54I wanted to go to Africa but I didn't have the money for it so you guys saw me go to South Africa
27:59in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe I was selling everything you guys I sold my shoes I sold my clothes I sold my
28:06wallet I sold because I didn't have the money to do this I'm not supported by like nobody I don't have
28:15any sponsors literally the only way that I get income is if somebody clicks on one of my videos
28:20or somebody donates that's it and when I tell you your girl is struggling
28:27I'm struggling I just am refusing to quit that's the only thing and to be very honest I'm trying to
28:39present myself like I am not struggling like I do these live streams and I do these videos and I ask
28:45people to donate um and all this stuff and I pump out videos and like every day like it's like
28:56on the fence of like if I have enough money to try to do what I'm doing you know what I'm saying
29:01like it's always teeter-tottering on the fence of okay we're about to tip over and fall here
29:09you know what I'm saying and I would love to get a laptop I'd love to get a camera I just can't
29:15afford it right now I literally by the way one thing I never ever ever ever ever want to do is
29:21come off like I feel sorry for myself are you kidding me I just said that that's pride and
29:25I don't feel sorry for myself not one bit I am not sitting here like
29:31no I'm telling I'm just being very honest with you guys I'm telling you guys um about something that I
29:41don't want to be the vision of my channel like I'm just this rich person who's just like oh yeah
29:47I'm not a luxury traveler I can't afford to be a luxury traveler you know I'm saying I'm fighting for
29:52my life and the only way I fund these travels is if one of you guys donates and with the ad revenue
29:58from YouTube you guys know about YouTube right YouTube pays you for your views um but YouTube is
30:05up in the air because it's all about like how many people watch your videos in that month you know
30:10what I'm saying so it's never a guaranteed amount of money it's it's all about how many views you get
30:16in 30 days and then they pay you out but to do this goal of visiting every country in the world it's not
30:21enough so I highly highly um rely on donations if anybody donates that is you guys have no idea how
30:29helpful it is and also if somebody buys anything from angel hair my hair brand I have a hair brand
30:35called angel hair we have 100% natural products a hair growth oil we've got um soap now we just
30:41dropped a perfume um we have uh rice water and it's not crap you guys it is literal stuff that I learned
30:48how to make around the world learned from different cultures but and I just dropped merch too so here's
30:55what I'm trying to and I promise in return I promise you if you donate I promise you I'm going to do my
31:02best I would love to get a camera and a laptop by the way that's my first priority so um I know you
31:08guys miss the cinema cinematic videos I can't afford to get a camera I sold it I can't afford to get a
31:13laptop I've been editing on my iPad which um which is it works but it's just not I can't really pump out
31:20my high quality videos like I used to like my Afghanistan videos trust me I miss them too I'd love
31:25to buy a laptop and a camera but I can't afford it right now I really can't so um I'm really trying
31:32to raise five thousand dollars that would help me get a new camera and a laptop seriously so that's the
31:39thing that I've been trying to do recently and I will come back to you guys with the high quality edit
31:45boom boom boom boom boom listen guys I'm gonna come back to you with the gorgeous cinematic crisp
31:52crisp like I'm going to do my best um so I'm trying to fundraise for that that's going to be
31:57like five thousand dollars to get a new camera and a laptop so we're back I would love if you could
32:03donate even if it's anything that you would spend at Starbucks $15 $25 power in numbers if a couple
32:12hundred of you guys did that we'd raise the money you know so I'm here to say that I need help now
32:18and that I'm going to go I'm I'm pumping it up you guys I'm going to start pumping out two videos a day
32:23and I'm going to do two live streams a day because at the rate I'm doing right now I'm not going to be
32:28able to do this challenge I I don't make enough money to do this like I really don't so you guys
32:34donations is literally doing keeping me going here so um I want to say that I love you I'm never coming
32:43to you from a place of um feeling bad obviously that would be so silly I don't want anyone to feel
32:48bad for me because there's nothing to feel bad for I'm just here to tell you guys what this is all
32:52about and I'm here to tell you that I think that your support is um not only do I think if you chose
33:00to donate and support this challenge that it would be money I would not play around with the money I am
33:07here to give you high quality content I'm here I keep myself family friendly I don't curse I don't

33:25you could have the whole world against you you could have messed up so bad and get up and turn it around

34:02I'm going to show you more um I'm going to just show you way more and um cinematic vlogs are coming
34:09back um I would love if we could okay here's the goal here's the goal right now we're at 10,000 on the
34:15fundraising I want to jump to 15 I want to jump to 15 that's like 5,000 more dollars so I don't know
34:23like if 50 people donated $25 or something like that we'd reach it but anyways it would mean so
34:30much and if you could donate more please do you are literally keeping me going I'm like
34:36my next step like is always unsure my next I don't even know where I'm gonna put my foot the next day
34:44because it's so hard I don't want to present like I don't want to try to think anymore like I'm
34:50not really struggling or like this isn't so hard because it is and I am struggling a little bit so
34:56which is very hard for me to say but it's true so um but I'm gonna keep fighting I'm gonna keep
