00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Houston-Beds and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking people about A-Level Results Day and that's because it's coming up very, very soon now. And while it might seem like the most stressful day of a young person's life, it actually might not have that big of an impact on your future. We want to know what people's advice would be to those set to receive their A-Level Results very, very soon.
00:19Not really. I don't think it should hold you back. I think if you've got to do it, it's part of the thing that everybody's got to do. GCSEs, whether you go on to A-Levels or anything further. But there's loads of successful people that have done really well without results too. So it's just a matter of get through and do what you enjoy. And if you enjoy it and you get the results with it, great. But if you've not, it's not the end of the world, so don't worry.
00:41It just gets you through to uni. And then uni doesn't really get you through to what you want to do anyway. The most important thing is that you put the effort in outside of it. Just get the grades that you need to do to go to uni. Some employers like having a degree. It depends what you want to do though, to be fair. Obviously architecture probably is important that you do get the right grades.
