00:00Yeah, I mean, in terms of Everton's sort of overhaul, in terms of outgoings this summer, it's been quite a fair number.
00:08But also, if you look throughout the squad now, there's way more sort of numbers like 22 or 24, those sort of younger age across the entire squad.
00:18You've obviously got Idrissa Gueye at 35 and Michael Keane, Tarkovsky, Pickford experienced heads.
00:26But suddenly after this summer, there is some younger players coming through.
00:30I mean, this is only really positive for David Moyes.
00:33He's got the experience, but he's got some younger talent as well coming through.
00:37Who do you think can maybe stand out in terms of your sort of breakout campaign?
00:42Obviously, we touched before on Nathan Patterson and Jake O'Brien as well.
00:47They had fantastic sort of seasons when they had to last season, but maybe a bit less pressure on them this year.
00:53Well, Nathan Patterson's a funny one because I don't actually think David Moyes quite fancies him, to be quite frank.
01:03He has a mixed bag in pre-season.
01:06He's actually been the set for a hernia, but yeah, I think Jake O'Brien will be the starting right back there,
01:14which it's not ideal.
01:18I still want to get a right back in because O'Brien is a centre-back by trade,
01:24but he did well when Moyes came in, as you say.
01:27He could really kick on again this season.
01:32I think you're looking at someone like a James Garner.
01:36What can he go and do this season?
01:38Can he really kick on because he's shown ability, obviously come through the ranks at Man Utters,
01:43but his event career has stuttered somewhat.
01:46Injuries haven't helped.
01:49Tiano Barry still is only 22, so it'll be interesting to see his developments.
01:56A lot of eyes on Harrison Armstrong, the 18-year-old midfielder.
01:59You would like to think that he will go out on loan once he can get more bodies through the door
02:05because he needs to play week in, week out.
02:10There's the temptation to keep him around the squad because he will be a real asset.
02:14He could learn every day, but I think he'd be better from playing every week.
02:19You can say maybe for Timur Abunum as well, who has shown glimpses,
02:24but where is his best position?
02:28I still don't know where his best position is in that midfield.
02:32And Yusef Chimiti as well has caught the eye last summer in pre-season,
02:38but he has injuries then and he hasn't done too much during the current pre-season.
02:44So, yeah, of course, Adam Asnu, who's 19, he's been brought in from Bayern Munich.
02:52He has a real high ceiling, I think, just because Bayern Munich have sold him,
02:59it doesn't mean that he can't really go and kick on and be a real top player.
03:03You look at some of the full-backs in the Premier League
03:05at the minutes who've been sold when they're youngsters.
03:09Jeremy Frimpong left Man City for Celtic for about £600,000.
03:14And he's now at Liverpool.
03:17Tino Livramento, Lewis Hall, both sold by Chelsea.
03:21So there's a few examples of full-backs who can go backwards
03:26to take another step forward in the future.
03:30Milos Kerk has left AC Milan when he was younger
03:33and went to his adult man.
03:35Now he's at Liverpool.
03:36Liverpool, so, you know, the examples are there.
03:40The Asnu will be a bit of a learning curve for him.
03:43But in terms of the games that Evan need to attack,
03:46he could be one to what?
03:49So, yeah, in terms of the younger,
03:50there are some question marks over a lot of them.
03:54If you're looking for the two standout ones,
03:56maybe you're looking at an Asnu and an Armstrong,
04:00who could play a real part in Evan's future.
04:02But, yeah, I think that there are questions to be asked
04:06around Chimiti, around Iwabunam.
04:10The court started bad.
04:11He's another youngster.
04:11He's 22, 23.
04:13Maybe he's just a little bit older.
04:15But it'll be interesting to see how he develops.
04:17And, as I say, James Garner has got a real pivotal season for me.
04:21I think he's into the last year of his contract, potentially.
04:23So, is he going to go and earn himself a new deal at Everton?
04:28Because there is a lot of potential,
04:29a lot of qualities that can add something.
04:33But a lack of consistency and injuries have meant
04:37his Everton career has been a little bit stuttering.
04:40And, as I say, I'm going to go and earn himself a new deal.
