In this troubleshooting tutorial video, I'll show to fix the "Medal of Honor: Airborne requires PhysX to be installed in order to run properly" error, which also appears as the "Video Card Not Supported" problem, found when trying to launch Medal of Honor: Airborne. This problem is caused by the absence of a legacy software, specifically, an legacy version of Nvidia PhysX, which nowdays is called Nvidia PhysX Legacy. In some cases, this problem can also appear with the error message "Video card not supported" in Medal of Honor: Airborne. Both problems are caused by the same root cause, and are fixed in the same way.
To fix this problem, 1. Go to the Internet 2. Seach for "Nvidia PhysX Legacy" 3. Open the official Nvidia PhysX legacy driver webpage In the video, I show to find the installer on the Nvidia webpage. 4. Download PhysX 5. Install PhysX Downloading and installing the PhysX legacy driver will not affect the PhysX current driver. The PhysX legacy driver and the PhysX current driver coexist in the computer.
If the Nvidia PhysX legacy driver webpage is no longer available, 1. Go to the Internet Archive 2. Paste the link in the Wayback Machine The official Nvidia PhysX legacy driver webpage: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/ 3. Use the Wayback Machine to download the official PhysX legacy driver, which is required to run Medal of Honor: Airborne
In some versions of Medal of Honor: Airborne, you can also find the PhysX legacy driver installer in the game folder. While this is not always the case, if your game includes the installer, you can find it by: 1. Going to the Medal of Honor: Airborne installation folder 2. Opening the "install" folder 3. Opening the "PhysX" folder
