In this troubleshooting tutorial video, I'll show how to fix lag and stuttering in GTA III (2001 original version). This lag and stuttering is usually associated with a specific audio hardware setting, which can cause the stuttering. By changing this setting, we can improve the performance of the game for many users. This fix is related to the 2001 original version of GTA III, it is not related to the "Definitive Edition" version.

To fix the issue,

1. Launch GTA III
2. Go to "Options"
3. Go to "Audio Setup"
4. In "Audio Hardware" options, as shown in the video
5. Change the "Audio Hardware" option to "Miles Fast 2D Positional Audio
In the video, I show how to change this option.
6. Press ENTER to confirm the choice

In the 2001 original version of GTA III, the "Rad Game Tools" Audio Hardware setting causes some lag and stuttering while playing the game. By changing the "Audio Hardware" option, we can fix this lag and play the game more smoothly, ensuring a good experience for all users.
