How to Fix Just Cause 2 Crashing (2010 Version)

In this troubleshooting tutorial video, I'll show how to fix the common Just Cause 2 crashing problem. This is a very common issue, across users who use different devices, operating systems, Windows versions, dedicated graphic cards, and so on. This crash usually happens after every few minutes, with some users reporting that it has happened to them every 10 minutes, or every 20 minutes, and in that time range. Due to this frequent problem, the playthrough of Just Cause 2 if affected for many users, making this a relevant fix for players to be able to enjoy the experience of this video game. This problem is often known as "Just Cause 2 keeps crashing", "Just Cause 2 frequent crashing", "Just Cause 2 crashes" due to the frequency of the crashes.

1. Start Just Cause 2
2. Go to "Options"
3. "Go to "Advanced Display Settings"
4. Scroll down to "Decals" option (just like shown in the video)
5. Turn "Decals" OFF
6. Click "Apply changes"

The "Decals" setting in Just Cause 2 is known to cause frequent crashes to a lot of different users, regardless of the technical specifities of their computer. In other words, in this case, it doesn't matter which version of software you are using, or which graphic card, or whether your drivers are updated or not.
