The government should offer tax relief to public transport users to boost ridership, including among the M40 and T20 income groups, said Syahredzan Johan (PH-Bangi).
Debating the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Aug 11), he said the move would help the government achieve its goal of raising public transport usage to 40% by 2030, up from the current 20%.
