No toll increase by ten highway concessionaires in 2026, says Fahmi

Ten highway concessionaires will not raise toll rates in 2026, the government announced.

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, speaking at a post-Cabinet briefing on Thursday (Dec 18), said the decision was announced by the Prime Minister at Wednesday’s first Cabinet meeting following the recent reshuffle.

Fahmi added that the move has financial implications, with the government set to cover the costs.
