00:06Now there's lots of things going on in the region that will allow you to make the most of it, so let's have a look at some of the options.
00:12And we're going to start with the Summer Fair over at the Trafford Centre.
00:16It provides the perfect opportunity for family fun with a beach, splash park and a bunch of rides.
00:21The opportunities for entertainment are nearly endless and it only costs about £3 to get in.
00:25And it's been a massive hit for each of the last few years and it's even better this year because there's also a new family activity zone with a whole host of great things to get involved in.
00:34It's a perfect way to keep the kids happy when you're forcing them around the shops, so it is well worth a visit.
00:39And sticking with our shopping centres is the Summer Scrandfest of the Arndale Centre.
00:44Prices have been cut pretty substantially at more than 30 different spots inside the centre, giving families the opportunity to eat out without having to take out a small loan.
00:52With places like Sides, The Bagel Factory and Lazy Sunday offering some great deals that are going to last right through the summer, it's definitely worth getting down there.
00:59East Lancashire Railway are also offering something brilliant for families with a wizarding adventure on board one of their classic steam trains.
01:05Visitors who dream of being wizards and witches will be able to attend a spellbinding magic school as they take a tour of the Wizard Academy.
01:12They'll be a master of magic on board who'll be able to coach the mini magicians on how to best achieve their potential on a ride through the Irwell Valley.
01:19It looks as though it's going to be a whole lot of fun and well worth booking for your wizard-obsessed kids.
01:23Finally, a few more exciting offers worth mentioning for the week.
01:26Burgerism will be selling burgers for seven pence for one hour on Wednesday to celebrate seven years of operation.
01:32Nels are giving away 222 slices of pizza to celebrate their new opening at Frey Island, and there's tons more exciting things happening too.
