00:05We have lots of amazing, exciting things happening, so let's talk about some of the best events and activities happening in the region this week.
00:13Now, firstly, at the Lowry, a new show has arrived in the city that pays homage to one of the most important periods in recent football history.
00:20The award-winning Dear England has arrived in Manchester following an incredibly successful run in London.
00:25The play follows Gareth Southgate as he takes charge of the men's national team.
00:29He's going to have to try and battle his demons from his own footballing past to try and make England a relevant nation on the international stage again.
00:35And we all know how well he did that. He's running it until the end of the month and is absolutely worth a go.
00:41This Friday, a big celebration is taking place at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
00:45The shopping site is celebrating its 30th anniversary and so it's hosting a massive concert that should be a great way to kill an evening.
00:51The gig is completely free and will feature a headline performance from an as-of-yet-unknown 2000s music act.
00:56The only thing we've been told so far is that the act has a number of number one singles and well-known hits so you never know who could end up performing.
01:04The next day, Saturday, sees another big celebration, this time taking place in Stockport with Stock Party turning up in the area for its second edition after a massively successful first year.
01:14The name is obviously a pun on a block party and the people of Stockport will be taken to the streets with local food and drink vendors setting up stores alongside other local traders and it's set to be another brilliant day.
01:25Finally, Ironman 70.3 is returning to Bolton and Wigan this Sunday.
01:29The triathlon event is an incredibly difficult challenge and everyone taking part has all the best wishes we can offer.
01:35There will be a number of road closures in Bolton on the day so plan your journeys accordingly.
