The post-mortem on the body of the late Zara Qairina Mahathir is currently ongoing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (HQE), Kota Kinabalu.

The procedure is being conducted by Dr Khairul Anuar Zainun, a forensic pathology specialist from Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang, together with three other doctors.

Once completed, the remains will be released to her family for reburial at the Tanjung Ubi Islamic Cemetery in Kampung Mesapol, Sipitang.

00:57depending on the findings. Meanwhile, members of the public and media had gathered at the hospital
01:03compound as early as 8 a.m. to follow developments in the investigation into the death of Zahra Kairina.
01:10Her remains arrived at the hospital at 10.30 p.m. on Saturday. Once the procedure is completed,
01:17the remains will be released to her family for reburial at the Tanjung Ubi Islamic Cemetery
