The post-mortem findings of Zara Qairina Mahathir could not be revealed as investigations were still ongoing, says the family’s lawyer Shahlan Jufri.

Speaking to reporters following the autopsy performed on Sunday (Aug 10) night, he said that the post-mortem report was not a public document and could only be revealed in court if an inquest is ordered by the Attorney General to ascertain the cause of death.

00:33He added that it was likely that the authorities would wait for police investigations to be
00:38completed before requesting an inquest to be held.
00:41The autopsy on Zahra Kairina's exhumed remains was completed at 7.30 p.m. on Sunday.
00:49Her body was then brought out of Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a police truck at 9.25 p.m. for
00:55a three-hour journey for reburial at the Tanjung Ubi Muslim Cemetery in Kampung Mesopol, Sipitang.
01:03Zahra Kairina, 13, died on July 16 after she allegedly fell from the third floor of her
01:09school hostel in Papar.
