A forensic pathologist who conducted the post-mortem on Zara Qairina Mahathir told the Coroner's Court on Thursday (Sept 4) that it was impossible to place the 13-year-old inside a washing machine.

Dr Jessie Hiu, from Queen Elizabeth Forensic Medicine Department said this was unlikely due to the deceased’s weight.

00:27Badiaz Zaman Ahmad, on the second day of the inquest, into the death of the Form 1 student.
00:34Previously, a video went viral claiming that Zahra Kairina had been killed by being put
00:39into a washing machine.
00:41Earlier, a mannequin was brought into the coroner's court hearing.
00:45A legal team for one of the teenagers charged with bullying brought in the life-size mannequin
00:51to help explain the injuries found on Zahra Kairina on the second day of the inquest.
00:56The lawyer, Datuk Ram Singh, had been granted permission by the coroner Amir Shah Amir Hassan
01:03to bring in the mannequin to help explain the injuries sustained by Zahra.
01:08Zahra was found unconscious on the ground floor of her hostel dormitory in Papar on July 16
01:14and died the following day at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
01:17The inquest continues before Sessions Court Judge Amir Shah Amir Hassan, who is serving as
