00:00:38As an unmerciful beating takes place, David Flair is triple teamed,
00:00:43double teamed, quadruple teamed by the New World Order.
00:00:47It was really in the history of pay-per-view wrestling,
00:00:50one of the most disgusting acts ever.
00:00:53Hollywood Hogan, and the NWO taking their anger out on young David Flair.
00:00:58And that prompted, earlier today, the Horseman to discuss what happened last night.

00:12:53And later, David Flair will wrestle Eric Bischoff with a lot of head shaving that

00:13:23Well, last night, the beating of David Flair was really the tip of the iceberg in a bizarre night.
00:13:41Goldberg and Scott Hall in the latter match, the winner, of course, to take the taser and zap the other man.
00:13:46Goldberg got the taser, he zapped Scott Hall and won the match.
00:13:50You can see, ladies and gentlemen, the encore presentation.
00:13:53It is available tomorrow, available all week on various outlets, cable and satellite TV.
00:13:59See the encore presentation of Sold Out 19 and 99.
00:14:05Well, Sold Out 99 was a must-see pay-per-view event.
00:14:10And, Tony, I think even people that already watched Sold Out would want to see that again.
00:14:14If you missed it, you have to see everything that went down, including those two great matches that we just showed,
00:14:19the highlights from, the cruiserweight title match, the four-way involving four of the top cruiserweight stars in the world.
00:14:26But Goldberg and Scott Hall, what a physical contest that was.
00:14:29The Nitro girls are here, and we are in Columbus, as we tried to say earlier, on the campus of Ohio State University,
00:14:40in the state capital of the Buckeye State at the Schottenstein Center, the brand new facility for the Buckeye basketball team
00:14:48and for their upcoming National Hockey League brand new franchise that they're going to have.
00:14:53Great sports shooting.
00:14:54Good to be with you on hand and see the gorgeous Nitro girls.
00:14:57I tell you, I'd hate to be in the flair of household when they get in a family argument.
00:15:02David can scream just as loud as Rick.
00:15:04I cannot imagine that they would normally scream like that, Larry.
00:15:10I mean, you've seen the stills.
00:15:13The fans can see the outpost presentation.
00:15:16What happened last night was beyond any boundaries ever.
00:15:20It was the worst thing that we've ever witnessed.
00:15:23Well, it was beyond boundaries for normal human beings, but for the New World Order, they were right on par.
00:15:29And Flair should have expected that when David got in the ring.
00:15:32All right, let's take a look once again at some of the stills from sold out.
00:15:36Randy Anderson has the taser, and this, Mike, today was really a classic ladder match.
00:15:41It was absolutely combat between these two men, mano a mano, Goldberg, and Scott Hall.
00:15:46And yes, the ladder came into play many times during the match.
00:15:50Scott Hall tried to get it.
00:15:52Of course, the object was to get the taser and then use it against the other men.
00:15:57Disco Inferno came out and threw Goldberg off.
00:16:00He hit the ropes very hard, and then he told Scott Hall,
00:16:03there's an open shot for you, go get it.
00:16:05As Hall tried to get up and get the taser, well, you don't keep Goldberg down.
00:16:10Goldberg got the taser to win the match.
00:16:12You had to zap the other man.
00:16:14Well, what he did, he threw the taser up in the air, speared the man,
00:16:19hitting with that taser, put him in the jackhammer.
00:16:21There you see the final blow right there, but that's not all that happened.
00:16:25Bam Bam Bigelow came out after Goldberg had won the match,
00:16:29and he helped Scott Hall get the taser to turn it right around and use it on him.
00:16:34So Scott Hall really walks out with the stun gun in his possession once again,
00:16:38even though Goldberg had won the match.
00:16:39Yeah, Goldberg gets his revenge.
00:16:41Last night it sold out, but Scott Hall and the NWO had the last word.
00:16:48Scott Hall and the NWO, we saw the NWO, didn't we?
00:16:51I mean the Wolfpack had dropped their limousine in here tonight.
00:16:54And I mean Flair and the hoistman literally chased him away from the building here.
00:16:57They're gone.
00:16:58Smash the window of the limo.
00:17:00I guess you could say the Wolfpack is not in the house.
00:17:03I think you could say that.
00:17:05Oh no.
00:17:06Also last night, Chris Jericho won the dress match with Kerry Satter.
00:17:12And if Satter's gonna wear the dress now, but the catalyst in all of this was referee Scott Dickinson,
00:17:19who showed his true colors and they are yellow last night with one of his now being known as patented quick counts.
00:17:28And thus, felt Chris Jericho get the win.
00:17:31And then, to just laugh in the face, to spit in the face of Perry Satter.
00:17:36There he was laughing on the outside.
00:17:38A referee would do something like this.
00:17:41Well, Scott quick count Dickinson not only made a quick three count.
00:17:45Tony, if you'll recall, Perry Satter had a small package.
00:17:48An inside cradle hold on Chris Jericho.
00:17:50And it appeared that Perry Satter was going to win the match.
00:17:53But the referee, Scott Dickinson, made contact and pushed him over, allowing Jericho to roll on top.
00:18:00Then the quick count ensued.
00:18:01And yes, Chris Jericho won the match, but you have to put a huge asterisk next to it.
00:18:06And quite an assist to referee Scott Dickinson.
00:18:10Now, things like this in WCW cannot be tolerated.
00:18:14I think we all would agree on that.
00:18:16Well, I tell you, 20 glorious years, I've seen a lot of referees walking out with extra cash in their pockets.
00:18:22And I can understand that, but to be so blatant as Dickinson was last night, to even laugh on camera.
00:18:29He must have got a lot of cash.
00:18:31Yeah, that's the biggest thing.
00:18:32I mean, yeah, we all saw how he changed the course of that match, how he changed the outcome.
00:18:37But then for a WCW official to be a part of a post-match celebration with Chris Jericho, it was ridiculous.
00:18:46Here's a match that was made last night, it sold out.

00:18:55Here comes Chris Jericho, first off of the win against Barry Shatter, and they agreed to this matchup here tonight.
00:19:01It's our first bout here on WCW Monday Nitro.
00:19:04Where still to come tonight, it's going to be David Flair and Eric Bischoff.
00:19:10History's gonna be made because there's so much at stake when David Flair and Eric Bischoff step into the ring.
00:19:16We're talking about Bischoff having the opportunity tonight to take back over control of World Championship Wrestling.
00:19:23I think speaking for everyone, that's the last thing we wanna see.
00:19:26Yeah, we don't want that to happen at all.
00:19:28In fact, we don't even want the 90 days to run out.
00:19:31Of course, if Eric wins, then Flair wants to shave his head as well.
00:19:35You know, Flair brought up a pretty good point all through the years when he was the world champion and he would go around the different arenas around the country.
00:19:44Many different promoters would say, you know, why don't you put up your blonde hair, your signature, your trademark, and he would never do it.
00:19:51And so he's putting up his hair for the first time ever here tonight.
00:19:55And has enough confidence in his son to wrestle in his place here.
00:20:00You ever expect that kind of an emotional display from David Flair in the ring tonight?
00:20:05I certainly didn't, but the fire has been lit under David Flair.
00:20:09The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, the new president of World Championship Wrestling,
00:20:13apparently confident enough to see David Flair, his 19-year-old son, face Eric Bischoff so much at stake later tonight.
00:20:22All right, former television champion Booker T and Chris Jericho here.
00:20:26Hey, Jericho's getting frustrated.
00:20:28He's already gonna be afraid of Booker T.
00:20:30He knows what kind of technique he is.
00:20:32Is Jericho going through all this?
00:20:34Anything other than locking up with Booker T and going against his movement,
00:20:39Jericho's gonna have to really use his brains here.
00:20:42He won't be able to keep up with Booker T in the phys-ed department.
00:20:46Well, in his battle of two former world television champions,
00:20:49I think Chris Jericho's upset that the referee is Mickey J.
00:20:52He doesn't have Scott Dickinson to officiate this match.
00:20:55And the superb athlete Booker T runs over Jericho with the left-handed Larry at that time.
00:21:02And look at all of this.
00:21:03What a crybaby.
00:21:04Chris Jericho and Ralthus, of course, Chris Jericho has historically been the top of the list in many of the championships in our sport.
00:21:16And as of late, he's not really wanted to even bother with championships.
00:21:20You know, he's had these personal vendettas with a Perry Saturn.
00:21:23I mean, he's been a man who's really avoided titles and just loves to try to do underhanded things to other athletes in WCW.
00:21:32You know, there's a double side to that coin as Jericho avoiding championships because he doesn't think he can win one.
00:21:39So that way he's always looking good.
00:21:42Think about that.
00:21:43That's a good point.
00:21:44One, two, we got a two count.
00:21:46Well, we know Booker T always looks good, the former television champ.
00:21:49Many times a member of the world tag team champ.
00:21:52Speaking of that, the ongoing tournament.
00:21:54We have a tournament matchup tonight here on this program to crown new world tag team champs.

00:22:38fighting on emotion, but Eric was very smart, I think, and let me tell you why.
00:22:43Booker T comes out of the right side ropes, and nails Chris Jericho.
00:22:47I don't think Bischoff wanted to get in the ring with Ric Flair during that mindset.

00:22:53Flair was a very dangerous man out there, and still is.
00:22:58The president of WCW, for safety's sake, don't get in the ring, and on the top.
00:23:05Springboard by Jericho, using the top rope into a cross body block as he crashes down to
00:23:10Booker T on the floor.
00:23:11I tell you, Jericho has used some good movement.
00:23:14He ducked in the nick of time.
00:23:15Booker T hurt himself on that top rope, and Jericho smart enough to take advantage of it.
00:23:21Jericho puts him up, pops him down on the mats, right below the apron of the ring.
00:23:28Ric Flair also now for Superbrawl, the big event in February in Oakland, California,
00:23:34and the Oakland Coliseum has put himself into that world title match against Hollywood Hogan.
00:23:39These two men have had some great legendary battles, Ric Flair and Hollywood Hogan, for the title.
00:23:46This one will be for the title for the first time ever.
00:23:48I don't think Ric Flair is thinking about winning the world heavyweight title.
00:23:51Yeah, he even made that abundantly clear in his interview as we see Jericho connect with the high vertical suplex.
00:23:57He mentioned that it's not about winning that title for the 14th time.
00:24:00It's about two men walking in, quick cover again.
00:24:03Oh, nonchalant that time by Jericho.
00:24:05Two men walk into the ring at Superbrawl.
00:24:08Flair says only one will walk out.
00:24:11The date is Sunday, the 21st of February, five weeks out now.
00:24:15In Oakland, California, at the Coliseum and live on Pay-Per-View.
00:24:20I tell you, Jericho's got Booker in the corner.

00:24:50That was a good move by Booker T and a great escape as well by Jericho.
00:24:54The Canadian athlete will snap air Booker T over and pull back in a rear chin lock.

00:25:09Was, I don't know if bizarre is the right term to use.
00:25:13In many ways, it was exciting.
00:25:14I don't think I could ever remember an exciting climax in a long time to a match such as a ladder match with that taser high above the ring.
00:25:23Goldberg battled adversity.
00:25:25And we haven't brought this up, Larry, but he was attacked early.
00:25:28There's a look at Ralph, as we don't need to look at him.
00:25:31Too long.
00:25:33Oh, goodness.
00:25:34That really was a huge aspect of that match last night, Tony.
00:25:37As we came onto the air, we found out that Goldberg had been attacked from the locker room, suffering a knee injury.
00:25:42And he was in far less than 100%, in my opinion, in that ladder match because of that attack and the fact that he wore a knee brace into the ring for the matchup against Scott Hall.
00:25:52The New World Order is up to old tricks.
00:25:54And even when Flair, out of emotional control, he wants to get Hogan, and that's good.
00:25:59But he talks about two men walking in.
00:26:02That's from Flair's side.
00:26:03What about the Hogan's side of the story?
00:26:05Has Hogan got the guts to walk in on by himself?
00:26:08You know the answer to that.
00:26:09Certainly I do.
00:26:10Flair got his answer to that when he talked about him not doing anything by himself.
00:26:15As you see Jericho using the camera cables to choke here, Booker T and Mickie J giving Jericho a lot of latitude in this opening bout here.
00:26:24Boy Jericho has so many ways to defeat you.
00:26:30Sometimes it boggles the mind that he uses his underhanded techniques.
00:26:34There's an elbow.
00:26:35See the balance by Jericho as he mounted first the middle rope, then the top rope.
00:26:39Comes off with an elbow drop and follows that up with a senton splash.

00:26:45Couldn't hold him down.
00:26:46I think Jericho's got a good game plan, and he grounded Booker T.
00:26:50That had to be the main objective.
00:26:52Stop the movement.
00:26:53And look at Jericho did exactly that.
00:26:56Once again, fans, Eric Bischoff and David Flair will wrestle on this program tonight.
00:27:02If Ric Flair wins, Bischoff's gonna get his head shaved.
00:27:07And other parts of his anatomy that Flair offered to.
00:27:11And on the other side of the coin, if Bischoff defeats David, then Flair's gonna get his head shaved and Bischoff's gonna get the company back.
00:27:19I don't like the sound of that.
00:27:22Well, Larry, you've been in the ring with Eric Bischoff.
00:27:25I mean, the man has an extensive martial arts background.
00:27:28I wonder if that's something that the Flair family considered.
00:27:31That's why I don't like the sounds of that.
00:27:33I mean, to a wrestler, Bischoff is nothing.
00:27:36To a 19, 20-year-old kid, Bischoff is a grown-up man with a background.
00:27:40He's not a pushover for some guy off the street or a kid.
00:27:44And there's another factor, and you talked about it.
00:27:47The New World Order up to its old tricks.
00:27:50Bischoff gets a chance to get the company back.
00:27:53And you think he's not gonna pull out all the stops?

00:38:03And tonight, the company is at stake, as well as the hair of Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair.

00:38:13And Larry brought up a real good point when he talked about Bischoff getting in the ring with a wrestler
00:38:19versus getting in the ring with a 19-year-old man such as David Flair.

00:38:25And I think Eric Bischoff may be very close to getting the company back.
00:38:29Now, I don't want to say that he's going to defeat the young man in the ring by wrestling.

00:41:35But the horrible part about the whole match, Arne Anderson did get involved in the end with the tire iron, and that helped Rick and David Flair get the win.
00:41:43But here comes, Mike today, the most disgusting part of the whole night, when they handcuffed Ric Flair in the NWO, and they pummel young David while his father was watching helpless handcuffing the world.
00:41:54Tony, we've been around since the inception of the New World Order, but this had to be the sickest display ever by the New World Order.
00:42:02What they did to this young man last night, and I can tell you that earlier we saw the welts and bruises, but the TV camera did not do them justice.
00:42:10Yeah, it really didn't, and you saw their living legend EZE spray painted on the back of David Flair, and that is what prompted Ric Flair and David Flair to do what they've done.
00:42:20Well, there's no doubt about it, you cannot blame the Flairs for being irate.
00:42:24And they are, and here we go, wrestling fans, with an all-important matchup, because on the line, control of this great company.
00:42:36On the line, a couple of hairdos, one Ric Flair's, and the other one, Eric Bischoff.
00:42:42And David Flair, only his second wrestling match, his first singles match.
00:42:48But we brought up last night that Ric Flair, the parent, was very big in his sons, David and Reed, in their amateur wrestling career.
00:42:59And David did show us last night, living legend, a lot of amateur skills.
00:43:03Well, amateur skills are great if you're wrestling in an amateur tournament, where a takedown's a takedown, and an escape's an escape.
00:43:11This is different, this is thumb in the eye, and broken bones, and this makes amateur wrestlers cry.
00:43:18Yeah, especially when the opponent is Eazy-E himself, Eric Bischoff.
00:43:23I don't think you're gonna see many amateur wrestling moves from Eric Bischoff.
00:43:27David Flair needs to be well aware of the fact that Eric Bischoff will stoop to any low in this match.

00:43:34Bischoff doesn't care about accumulating points or writing time.
00:43:38He wants control of the company, period.
00:43:41Now the point about David Flair brought up the cause.
00:43:45Well, it lets you know, and we all realize this here, because we've known David for many, many years,
00:43:49being with his father and a friend of his father's, and David has an athletic background.
00:43:54It's not just some kid off the street who's never participated in athletics before.
00:44:00He's been an amateur wrestler, and so, maybe, sometimes.

01:03:05Ming and the Barbarian, these guys are big and nasty as ever.
01:03:09Newly reunited as a tag team under the leadership of Jimmy Hart.
01:03:14Ming and the Barbarian still active, still alive in the ongoing WCW World Tag Team Title Tournament.
01:03:20And this matchup against Mike Enos and Bobby Duncombe is a tournament bout.
01:03:24But they're not waiting.
01:03:26These are two of the most dangerous men in our sport.
01:03:29Jimmy Hart on Thunder this past Thursday called on the First Family.
01:03:34His First Family, of course, they still are known worldwide as the Faces of Fear.
01:03:40And I can tell you there's some rumors going around the locker room
01:03:43that the First Family may be adding some other members.
01:03:46I spoke with Jimmy Hart earlier and he's on the recruiting trail as well.
01:03:49Ming picks up the big guy.
01:03:52Bobby Duncombe Jr. in the ring and misses an elbow drop.

01:05:23You know that tonight, J.J. Dillon is trying to work on a triangle match.
01:05:27We talked about Goldberg, Scott Hall, and Bam Bam Bigelow.
01:05:31As a result of what went down at the end of the ladder match last night,
01:05:35he is still working on that.
01:05:36But we do know that Rey Mysterio Jr. has challenged Lex Luger,
01:05:40which has been answered.
01:05:41And those two will wrestle tonight.
01:05:43Size-wise, oh, yeah, it's a mismatch.
01:05:45But how many times have we said, don't count Rey out?
01:05:48Yeah, he has the biggest part in Rey off the road.
01:05:51Bobby makes a save, and now the Barbarian goes on to Bobby Duncombe Jr.,
01:05:55and that brings in Ming.
