00:00And we now get to Rahul Gandhi's big message to the poll body after that news conference culminated.
00:06EC has said that Rahul Gandhi must submit signed oath on fraud charge.
00:12Rahul Gandhi has hit back saying that my word is my oath.
00:16So the all-out fight between Rahul Gandhi and the EC that continues to escalate.
00:21Rahul Gandhi just a short while ago had concluded that news conference where he put out details
00:26alleging voter fraud by the election commission.
00:30Let's listen in to that statement.
00:34Two responses have come from election commission while you are doing this press conference.
00:39One is that the Kanatka CEO has said that will you say all this under oath?
00:44Will you be signing the oath and say this?
00:47Secondly, they have been saying...
00:49I'm a politician.
00:51What I say to the people is my word.
00:56Right?
00:57I'm saying it publicly to everybody.
01:00Take it as an oath.
01:03This is their data.
01:04And we are displaying their data.
01:07This is not our data.
01:07This is election commission data.
01:09It's interestingly, they haven't denied the information.
01:13They haven't said what the voter lists that Rahul Gandhi is talking about are wrong.
01:19They're saying will you do it under oath?
01:20Why don't you say they're wrong?
01:21Because you know the truth.
01:25And you know that we know that you've done this across the country.
01:28And there you heard that statement from Rahul Gandhi where he spinned the blame on the election commission.
01:38In fact, he also put out data where he has alleged how there has been voter fraud.
01:42Meanwhile, the election commission has countered those allegations.
01:45The election commission has said that the electoral rolls 2024-25 are very much shared with the congress.
01:51And the congress never came on to file a formal complaint.
01:55Let's listen in to that statement from Rahul Gandhi once again.
01:59Two responses have come from election commission while you're doing this press conference.
02:04One is that the Kanatka CEO has said that will you say all this under oath?
02:10Will you be signing the oath and say this?
02:12Secondly, they have been saying...
02:13I'm a politician.
02:16Okay?
02:18What I say to the people is my word.
02:22Right?
02:22I'm saying it publicly to everybody.
02:26Take it as an oath.
02:28This is their data.
02:30And we are displaying their data.
02:32This is not our data.
02:33This is election commission data.
02:35It's interestingly, they haven't denied the information.
02:37They haven't said what the voter lists that Rahul Gandhi is talking about are wrong.
02:44They're saying, will you do it under oath?
02:45Why don't you say they're wrong?
02:48Because you know the truth.
02:50And you know that we know that you've done this across the country.
02:55This press briefing that went on for over an hour.
02:59The very promise of an atom bomb that Rahul Gandhi had been talking about is finally out.
03:04He put out data where he said that there has been voter fraud.
03:09Leveling all these allegations against the election commission.
03:12In fact, a big message that he's put out where he said that my word is my oath.
03:18Let me cut across to Rahul Gautam joining us on the broadcast.
03:22Rahul, the revelation that Rahul Gandhi has made.
03:25Has this lived up to the atom bomb claim that he had been promising all this while?
03:34Well, as far as Congress party is concerned, yes, it has matched the expectations of Congress workers.
03:41And Rahul Gandhi has certainly dropped an atom bomb on election commission.
03:45But possibly for the first time, because you know these allegations are not new, you know, pertinent to election commission.
03:51Rahul Gandhi, Congress leaders, they have been repeating these allegations.
03:55But possibly for the first time they have come out with names, with addresses, with photographs.
04:00And in fact, Rahul Gandhi, while he was addressing, you know, this press conference, he listed out five ways as to how this voter list are being manipulated.
04:08How, you know, persons of age who are 60, 70, 80 years old are voting, you know, under form 6, which is used for the first time voters.
04:18How, you know, at one address, you know, there is a single room house and there are 50 votes are registered and 50 people are voting.
04:26How there are, you know, one person is voting in multiple, you know, areas.
04:32So all these things, Rahul Gandhi came up and I was telling you earlier also, this is possibly for the first time he came up with facts, figures, addresses, names.
04:41And in fact, epic numbers and in fact he said and admitted that it was a very tedious, you know, process on the part of Congress workers to dig out and do this data analysis.
04:52Because of the fact, because of the simple fact that election commission did not give them machine readable electoral rolls.
04:59Now this, he said, was done deliberately on the part of election commission because they wanted to hide or conceal many facts which he is saying that he is exposing now.
05:10So clearly, as far as Congress is concerned, they are saying that this is going to, you know, create a narrative as to how election commission is rigging polls in the country by manipulating voter lists.
05:21In Maharashtra, you are adding one crore voters, you know, within five months, how there is bumper voting happening after 5.30.
05:29And in the same context, how you are, you know, you are deleting voters in Bihar, you are adding voters in Karnataka.
05:36So clearly, Congress is convinced that the election commission has become a weapon in the hands of BJP and they are using it to manipulate and rig polls, not just Lok Sabha.
05:47In fact, Rahul Gandhi also went on to say that because of the fact that he alleged this, that Narendra Modi, because he managed on, you know, this trick on 25 seats, that's how he got into power.
06:01And, you know, clearly you can say that that baggers are out between Rahul Gandhi and election commission, because the election commission has already reacted on this issue, saying that whatever Rahul Gandhi is saying, he should, you know, say this or write this under an oath.
06:17In fact, we also asked him, Rahul, you know, about election commission response, to which he replied that I am a public representative, I am a leader of opposition, whatever I am saying, I am saying under my oath, which I have taken of the constitution.
06:33So clearly, you know, it seems that this is going to be getting more intense in coming days and certainly Congress will be going hammer and tongs after this data has come up.
06:45And remember, tomorrow Rahul Gandhi is also going to Bangalore and over there he is going to, you know, held a press, he is going to have a press conference, he is going to address a rally.
06:55So clearly, Congress is relentlessly attacking election commission and you can expect that more and more Congress leaders will now be speaking on these lines.
07:07All right, Rahul, many thanks for getting us those details.
