Rahul Gandhi alleges voter fraud, EC responds

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of allowing large-scale voter fraud, presenting cases of duplicate and invalid voter entries.

00:32But the Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer said that on August 7, May 25,

00:36records showed Aditya Shravastav was registered only at booth 458, CS 1265 in Mahadevapura Assembly, Tengaluru Aban.

00:43Beside the Aditya Shravastav allegation, Rahul also levelled the following allegations on the election commission.

00:52Father's name, I-L-S-D-H-F-H-U-G.

00:5511,965 duplicate voters, some listed multiple times across booths.

01:0340,009 voters with invalid or zero numbered addresses.

01:0710,452 voters sharing single room addresses.

01:104,132 voters with missing or unidentifiable photographs.

01:1433,692 first time voters of whom some are aged between 70 to 95 years.

01:19Balad Aditya Shravastav claim was dismissed by the EC.

01:22The other allegations have sparked a political storm and set off a wave of debate online.
