00:00Focus on the American League is a little bit different in the standings that we see some
00:03really close races in the National League. If we look at the division leaders, Joe,
00:07as it currently stands in the American League, the Toronto Blue Jays, three and a half games
00:11clear of the New York Yankees, the Detroit Tigers, nine games clear of the Cleveland Guardians,
00:16and then in the AL West, which is going to be some entertaining finish here. The Houston Astros,
00:20four and a half games clear of the Seattle Mariners and five and a half games clear
00:24of the Texas Rangers. The Mariners and the Rangers are playing right now. So we see with
00:27those division leaders. How confident are we, Joe, that the Blue Jays, the Tigers and the Astros
00:34will carry the day and win their divisions? I think there's battles everywhere. I mean,
00:41the only team that is in the position A, Donnie, to actually win their division is Detroit
00:48without a whole lot of fanfare there just because who's catching them in the Central? But Toronto
00:54is far from a given that they're going to take down the American League East. You've got obviously
01:00what's going on in the West with the Astros and the Mariners and now the Rangers. That's going to be
01:07a battle to the finish. So outside of Detroit, I don't, nothing, a lot of this whole board could look a
01:15lot differently, Donnie, in about two and a half weeks, three weeks, and all those odds could be
01:20different. So I wouldn't be jumping in on Toronto now because I'm not convinced they're the ones
01:25winning the American League East when it's all said and done.
