00:00Talk about the teams that are anticipated to win the American League and which teams you might be
00:04able to take a flyer on. The leader right now in the clubhouse, odds-wise, is the New York Yankees
00:08at a plus 470 price. The Mariners 5-1, the Blue Jays 7-1, followed by the Red Sox here.
00:13A whole
00:14lot of teams that are expected to do a lot of damage, Tom, but as always, we start with the
00:17top of the Yankees. Do you agree they should be the favorites right now to win the American League
00:21odds-wise? No, I hate these numbers. I legitimately hate these numbers. The Yankees,
00:29Mariners, Blue Jays, I think they should all be much closer. They should all be essentially
00:33co-favorites. If you want to make the Yankees, the Mariners, co-favorites, which they are,
00:364-7,500, let's call it what it is. The rest of the numbers, Donnie, I hate these. If I
00:41could go
00:41through these quickly, because the Red Sox and the Orioles having better odds than the Tigers is insane.
00:48We have four teams from the same division at the top of the AL pennant. Not all these teams are
00:54going to make—four teams from the AL aren't going to make the playoffs. What are we doing here?
00:58The Tigers being a 9-1 when the Red Sox are at 7-1 is crazy. The Orioles being better
01:04than the
01:04Tigers is unacceptable. The Tigers should be where the Red Sox—the Tigers should be tied with the
01:09Blue Jays. It should be Yankees and Mariners in one tier, and then it should be Blue Jays and Tigers
01:13in the next tier. Having the Orioles, a team that hasn't made the playoffs, being better
01:18than their team, that's going to win a division with the Tigers. The Orioles may not make the
01:22playoffs, and the Tigers are going to win their own division, and they have worse odds compared
01:25to the Orioles. It's unacceptable. The Orioles should be further down. The Tigers should be—the
01:30Tigers should be higher. The Rangers should be higher. The Rangers and the Orioles should
01:33be in the same tier, not the Orioles' head of the Tigers.
