00:08There were some really great moments on the tour this year.

00:11But was it simply Scotty winning as much as he did?

00:14Is that really the story at the end?

00:16Well, we all have a recency bias.

00:18What Rory McIlroy did at Augusta was career-changing.

00:21It was life-changing.

00:22We saw his emotional outpouring on the 18th green.

00:25Let's not forget that storyline, but Scotty's going to be the player of the year.

00:28He's got two majors.

00:30He's got a bunch of wins.

00:31He's probably going to win again.

00:32He's probably, well, you just said he's the favorite to win the FedEx Cup.

00:35So at this point, Scotty, and I've said this a couple times on the grid,

00:40where Scotty's at that point now where he's getting past Rory and Brooks

00:44as like the best of his generation.

00:46He's moving towards that fill status of like, can I get to like 40, 50 wins?

00:50Can I get to like six or seven majors?

00:52And I think we're all excited to see what he can do from here.

00:56But it's tough to say he's not the story of the year for 2025.
