00:14hasn't won a tournament yet, even though he's only

00:16had three starts so far.

00:17What are we looking at Scotty Scheffler this week at Bay Hill?

00:21Well, Donny, we were looking at a lot of things yesterday.

00:23The first thing is the odds board.

00:24He comes out in the 300s.

00:26The last time was pre-tournament odds in the 300s,

00:29was 2013, and that was Tiger Woods

00:31when he won here for the eighth record, eighth time.

00:34So Scotty, I mean, he's got a lot of weight of expectations

00:37on his back.

00:38I saw him testing drivers yesterday.

00:40Yes, that's right.

00:41He was testing the driver yesterday,

00:43and by the time he got it dialed in, boy, Scotty looked good.

00:45It was like a meme, guys.

00:47It was like Scotty by a million if you

00:48looked at his last five drives.

00:50In this place, you go back to Keith's keys.

00:53I mean, that's what Scotty's superpowers are.

00:55He absolutely is the favorite to win, but at three to one,

00:58he's only a live bet option for me.

01:00There's better guys further down the board.

01:02Now, also in single digits, you've got Rory McIlroy.

01:05Here's a guy I got.

01:07I mean, six top 10s in his last eight starts here with a win.

01:11It's absolutely one of those situations

01:13where because Rory can bomb it off the tee

01:16and hit the fairway, he's had such an advantage here

01:19over time.

01:20But when I was at TGL on Monday, I

01:21noticed Rory had a new driver and a new fairway

01:24wood in the bag.

01:24So the guys at the top, your favorites in single digits,

01:28they're doing a little equipment messing around,

01:30which might give us all, you know,

01:32so you're saying there's a chance.

01:35Scotty Scheffler has been great at the API

01:38through the last three years.

01:39He has won the Arnold Palmer Invitational,

01:41including being our reigning champ.

01:44But of course, Keith, the number's so short for both

01:46Scotty and Rory.

01:48And there are so many good golfers in the field this week.

01:51Let's get some early leans on the early line.

01:53Who do you expect to perform well at this year's Arnold

01:56Palmer Invitational?

01:58Well, I expect it to be a superstar.

02:00I will pick some guys further down the board.

02:02But if you look at the three signature events this year,

02:05you know, the PGA Tour created these signature events

02:07two years ago.

02:08In that time, we've had eight short winners

02:10in the 11 signature events we've had to date.

02:13You look at the regular season events.

02:14We've had 28 of those.

02:16And almost all of them have been further down the board.

02:18I mean, the last two weeks, Brian Campbell, Joe Highsmith,

02:21I mean, those were like the original anchors

02:23for the early line like 10 years ago.

02:24I mean, who are those guys?

02:25We don't know.

02:26But we know that Hideki, we know that Rory,

02:28and we know that Ludwig have won these signature events.

02:31My early leans, I'm going to go with the kid again.

02:34I love Ludwig Oberg at plus 1,600.

02:37Fifth of the century, he withdraws

02:40And then he wins the Genesis.

02:44It's like he's holding back how good he knows he's hitting it,

02:56That's all the things he did at Torrey Pines.

02:58And he saved pars when he needed to and made birdies

03:01on the back nine on Sunday.

03:03My second early lean, I'm going to go a little further

03:05down the board, Daniel Berger plus 7,000.

03:09Now, last week, everybody's like, Keith,

03:11you kind of didn't like Daniel Berger.

03:12And here's the reason why.

03:14The weight of expectations on the PGA Tour

03:16is a real thing when it comes to these events.

03:19Now, last week, Daniel Berger, he's in the press room.

03:21He's one of the favorites to win.

03:23Everyone forgets that in 2022,

03:26on the back nine of PGA National,

03:27that guy had a five shot lead

03:29and he lost the tournament, you know?

03:30He had a lot of expectations on him last week

03:32coming into Florida for his form

03:35that he had showed on the West Coast.

03:36But guess what?

03:37He's now in the middle of the pack.

03:39He can let his clubs do the talking

03:40instead of himself in the media center.

03:43I love Daniel Berger,

03:44an excellent driver of the golf ball here.

03:46He's a wonderful long iron player

03:47and he can scramble and score where needed.

03:49Bermuda grass putting, what we have down here at Bay Hill,

03:52he's exceptional at that too.
