00:00where I guess Rob Manfred is almost doing that tour of around Major League Baseball,
00:03like the state of the game, let me update the players.
00:06And when he got to Philadelphia and started talking about,
00:09hey, man, looks like maybe salary cap the owners are trying to push for here.
00:12Bryce Harper said from Jeff Passan's tweet,
00:15stood nose to nose with the Major League Baseball commissioner
00:17during a meeting last week and told him to get the blank out of our clubhouse
00:22if he wanted to talk about a salary cap, sources told ESPN.
00:26So Bryce Harper, a $300 million man, is like, kick rocks, buddy.
00:30Trying to make even more money now.
00:32Well, it's so funny because, again, this is something that happens every year.
00:38Manfred always meets annually with every Major League Baseball team leading up to this
00:44to try to, A, improve their relationship with the players, the front office,
00:49and, of course, you know, the owners pay, Rob Manfred.
00:53It's the same thing with Roger Goodell.
00:55Like, the owners pay those guys millions upon millions of dollars
00:59to try and keep the peace as best as possible.
01:03And you have more and more owners now in Major League Baseball
01:06that keep pushing this salary cap envelope.
01:10So the players are like, every time they've done it,
01:13last time we had a lockout was, what, 94, 95?
01:16But it appears guys like Harper are like, don't do it because we'll sit out.
01:21We got no problem losing 162 games.
01:23We have no problem doing that.
01:25We have no problem doing that.
