00:00Previously on America's Next Top Model, as the competition heated up, tensions started
00:06to rise.
00:07You're asking for massages while we're cleaning up.
00:09That is frustrating.
00:10Questions were raised about Elisa's eating habits.
00:13She doesn't eat as much as I would care for her to.
00:16At the judging panel, insecurities started to mount.
00:19Giselle, where is the self-esteem?
00:22But in the end, Ebony was sent packing.
00:30Good morning.
00:36We did a lot.
00:46Did you like it better with more chicks or no?
01:03No, the fewer chicks the better.
01:05Yeah, the fewer chicks the closer we are to winning.
01:08After the last elimination, I just feel so, I don't know.
01:13The judge is pissing.
01:14I totally need to build some more confidence.
01:15And I'm trying.
01:16It's just going to be my hardest task ever.
01:20Come on, J.M.A.L.
01:26Hey!
01:27Hi!
01:28This is me.
01:29Did you even get that dressed up?
01:31We're just hanging out.
01:31We went to J. Manuel's house, and that was really cool.
01:35I just figured out who got cut.
01:37I really like J. a lot.
01:38He's a really good makeup artist.
01:40I love my makeup so much when J. does it.
01:42Hey, y'all!
01:43Hi!
01:44Hi!
01:45Hi!
01:47Tyra and just all their assistants, everybody was there, so it was a lot of fun.
01:52You guys are going to cook for us.
01:54For us.
01:54I need some chicken, and some flour, and some sweet potatoes, some greens.
01:59I got everything but the greens.
02:00Go, go, Paulie, honey.
02:01It's good.
02:02And you two have this kitchen for $27,575.42.
02:07Ouch.
02:08Be careful, please.
02:10Let me see what y'all got going here.
02:12But where's the sugar, J.?
02:13Ms. Tyra, she's really like a girlfriend type, you know, someone that you can, like, open
02:17up to.
02:18I need some ketchup.
02:19I need some ketchup.
02:21I need some ketchup.
02:23Oh, Mr. J., can I ask you a phone?
02:25I'm like, who is this calling, my man?
02:28Y'all, that food looks good.
02:30This pasta looks absolutely weird.
02:35Tyra has unbutted her pants to prepare for feast.
02:38It's kind of an issue right now whether Elise has some eating disorders or not, but we're
02:45kind of confused.
02:45We don't know what's really going on with her.
02:47I'm really worried about Elise.
02:50She's a smart, smart girl, but she's not fooling anybody.
02:53And even Ms. Tyra sees it.
02:56Elise ate, like, a whole plate of stuff.
02:59She mentioned to somebody that it was because Tyra was there.
03:02Actually, I'm surprised it tasted good.
03:03You ate a whole plate of pasta.
03:04This is really good.
03:05We've been starving all day in the house.
03:07Constantly dealing with the other girls scrutinizing what I eat and my weight, it really has been
03:13frustrating.
03:13Who eats the least?
03:15Who eats the least out of y'all?
03:16Probably me.
03:18You do?
03:19You smoke for yourself.
03:20I eat when I'm hungry and I stop eating when I'm full.
03:22Thank you for letting us bring you home.
03:25Night, everybody.
03:26Night, night.
03:29Oh, I just want to hug her because she's all furry.
03:31Good job.
03:34Bye.
03:34Bye.
03:34Bye.
03:35Bye.
03:37Okay, guys.
03:39Please be in London at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow.
03:42Yes.
03:43For publicity training.
03:45Oh, man.
03:47Adrian and Elise, I bonded with these girls.
03:50They're my roommates and they make me laugh.
03:53I just really get along with them.
03:54Okay, my face is definitely pimple-ized.
03:57I have one huge one, two huge one, three huge one.
04:02Connect the dots and you get a triangle.
04:04Giselle found out that pretending to be so negative about yourself and so insecure is a great way to fish for compliments.
04:13My pictures came out the worst time I've ever met.
04:16No, they didn't.
04:16They're going to judge.
04:17No, they didn't.
04:18Yes.
04:19Don't do that.
04:20Am I not going to ever be able to do a commercial?
04:22I have a third eyeball on my face.
04:24Like, what the hell am I doing here?
04:26I'm going to think about various ways in which I can kill you tonight when you're asleep.
04:31Should I put cyanide in your food or...
04:34You're crazy.
04:37It's just I hate you so much, Giselle.
04:40So much.
04:40You're really slow if you take me seriously at any time in your life.
04:52Hey, guys.
04:54What we're going to be focusing on today is publicity training.
04:56And publicity training is important for anyone in the entertainment industry.
04:59But personally, to me, it's extremely important for models because usually people would prefer models to be seen and not heard.
05:06You know, we don't need to hear her talk.
05:07Just pose.
05:08Just walk on the runway.
05:09It doesn't matter.
05:09So it's extremely important that you understand how to conduct an interview.
05:12I have my publicist here today.
05:14Here's Cindy.
05:15Hi.
05:15I'm Cindy.
05:16Hi, Elise.
05:17Hi, Elise.
05:17Hi.
05:18Hi, Sam.
05:19Hi, Shannon.
05:19Cindy gave us a lecture about how to deal with reporters and what to say and what not to say.
05:24The important start-off rules is that that journalist is there for a story.
05:29Their big rule is if you mess up, fess up.
05:32If you've made a mistake, own up to it.
05:35When you do an interview, it's important that you realize that the truth always comes out.
05:40Don't be afraid to share information that you may not necessarily want to share, but honesty is the best way to handle it.
05:49Just come clean.
05:50It's just good that we have someone that's actually, you know, talking to us, telling us about it before we get to that point.
05:55Trust the publicist so your publicist can guide you.
05:59If you've got something in your past, the public is very forgiving.
06:03Celebrity to me is like being the popular kids in school, you know.
06:06Everybody wants to know them and be like them and touch them, but at the same time, you want to, like, talk about them like this to break them down.
06:12It makes you feel better, you know, to read something about somebody that you think is so perfect.
06:16And then you read about them and it's like, oh, she has this and she has this and her this, you know, and it makes you feel better.
06:20Then we had an interview with her in which we were supposed to tell her all about embarrassing things or dirt in our past, because the premise is that you're supposed to tell the publicist everything.
06:30How are you?
06:30Good.
06:30Can I overwhelm you?
06:32Uh, I'm a little scared now, but not that really big.
06:36That's okay.
06:37Fear is a good thing.
06:38I hope we can get some pizza tonight.
06:40Girl, you not going to, you not.
06:43I'm not going to.
06:44But I think she has an eating disorder, taking little bites, you know, of, like, people's food or just, like, uh, or only eating when we're in front of Miss Tyra.
06:53Robin, you're an idiot, and frankly, you're starting to act like a bitch, too.
06:57What kind of weird pizza do you like?
06:59I like all kinds of pizza.
07:01Organic?
07:03Never mind.
07:04One day I'll be able to meet Michael Jackson.
07:07You want to meet Michael Jackson?
07:08I want to meet Michael Jackson so bad.
07:09I am just infatuated with the guy's talent, and honestly, if I met him face-to-face, I probably couldn't even look at him.
07:15I'd be, like, doing a lot of this.
07:16I think he's amazing.
07:17I kind of, like, push myself because I'm like, I'm not going to turn out like the rest of my family.
07:21Is your mom in the picture?
07:23She's there, but we don't really have a relationship.
07:26She has everybody at home thinking we're the best of friends and all that, and we haven't talked in, like, three months.
07:31Never drank, never smoked, and I'm still a virgin.
07:33I experimented with drugs when I was, like, 13.
07:36I was a little promiscuous.
07:37Are there any issues that may come up, who you are and why you are the way you are?
07:42No, ma'am.
07:42I thank the Lord that I have lived my life, you know, the way that I have.
07:45For the most part, unless you try to, like, make something up, you know, it's a pretty clean sheet.
07:50I'm an open book for you.
07:52Ask me anything.
07:53Okay, I feel like, um, since I've been here, there's been this whole, like, this subplot is that I have an eating disorder,
08:00which is completely false, but I feel like I haven't had the chance to defend myself at all.
08:06Just now, in there, um, I said, I hope they can take us out for pizza tonight, and Robin goes,
08:11well, you know you wouldn't eat in the oven.
08:13Oh, so untrue.
08:14She's decided, Elise doesn't eat.
08:16I didn't mean to, like, you know, like, say it being mean, but I was like, why are you wearing my food?
08:20You're not gonna eat.
08:21You never eat.
08:22Elise told us last night that the only reason she ate that much is because of Tyra.
08:28I feel sorry for her last night when she was eating all that food because I was like, Lord, I hope she doesn't throw up.
08:33Oh, my God.
08:33She was, as soon as we got here, guys, you need to hurry up in that bathroom.
08:38Please hurry.
08:39Giselle, we both swear that we heard, like, and then, like, put the water, and then we heard the toilet flush.
08:47I don't know, her teeth are not as shiny.
08:49They're yellow.
08:50I've never had an eating problem, and there's absolutely nothing in my past that would ever come out to back up that assertion.
08:56If there's even a smidgen of something there, come clean.
09:00There's not, there's nothing.
09:01Then don't worry about it.
09:02She looks at herself in the mirror and does, like, these.
09:05She'll be, like, doing that, and, like, she's, like, so old.
09:11She's a toothpick.
09:13There's not an ounce of fat to her body.
09:16She's killing herself.
09:18There's no other way to put it.
09:20This girl is killing herself.
09:23If people ask you about it, you say.
09:25I'm not anorexic.
09:26I'm not bulimic.
09:27I'm tall and thin.
09:32Hey, Mom.
09:34Hi.
09:34What's up?
09:35What's up with you?
09:37Nothing.
09:38Sorry.
09:39Having a bad day?
09:41Yeah.
09:41Instead of a good day?
09:43Yeah.
09:46Anything you can talk about?
09:48It's problems among the other girls.
09:51Oh, no.
09:52Everyone is so stupid, too.
09:55Sorry.
09:57Oh, my God.
10:04He's in here.
10:06You always have a little potato.
10:08And I'm just about winning that stupid competition.
10:12There's just other stuff that sucks so bad.
10:15I need to get out of here.
10:16It's kind of an issue right now whether Elise has some eating disorders or not, because
10:28sometimes I get a little worried, and I'm like, okay, yeah.
10:29So I got a little concerned.
10:31I was like, okay, well, I don't know.
10:33Giselle annoys me the most out of everyone in the house.
10:35And I'm not willing to alienate Giselle because she's the only one in Tokyo with a straightening
10:39iron.
10:39It doesn't seem like you're ever hungry.
10:41And I guess it's like it's good because you're happy with yourself.
10:43I'm fine with myself.
10:45Fine with yourself.
10:45See?
10:46I don't think I'm fat.
10:47I know I'm skinny.
10:48But I like it.
10:49I'm so defensive because I never get a chance to explain myself ever.
10:53I've never, ever made myself throw up.
10:57And I've never abused laxatives because I know it's bad for you.
11:00So I've been trying to suppress my intellectual superiority.
11:05However, I can confidently say that I know more about eating disorders than all of the
11:10rest of the girls combined.
11:12Do you ever just feel like you want to go?
11:14Just like, I don't think I'm going to go.
11:16Sometimes I want to get the hell out of this environment.
11:19Yeah, you can, right?
11:20Yeah.
11:20Sometimes or most of the time.
11:22Sometimes.
11:23I just, I don't quit anything.
11:26So, no way you'd ever.
11:28No, but I'm sure I'll get eliminated.
11:30But you're not going to get eliminated before me.
11:32And we'll see.
11:38Let me open.
11:39It's soul to soul time with some soulful grinds.
11:42Be ready to chat with Tyra at 8.30.
11:44Just come to Relay for 9 at home.
11:46All right.
11:47This is Shanna right here.
11:52Hi.
11:56See?
11:57Look, you're kind of getting cleavage on this side.
11:59This is Adrian.
12:04Yeah, no.
12:05My way isn't equally as good.
12:07I'm comfortable with my body.
12:08I realize that I'm very skinny.
12:10I have no desire to gain or lose weight.
12:11How can you get boobs the size of my boobs?
12:14Wait, they look even bigger than my boobs.
12:15Except for the front.
12:16You got the air push-up bra,
12:21two silicone inserts,
12:22and toilet paper.
12:24You've got enormous cha-cha.
12:25Oh, my God.
12:27Hey, y'all.
12:28Hey, Mr. I.
12:30Are we matching?
12:31Yay!
12:32We are.
12:33You guys want to come on over to Tokyo?
12:34Yeah.
12:35Bring your blankets and your pillows and stuff,
12:37and we're going to sit on the floor.
12:38Aw.
12:39How beautiful.
12:41Aw, this is awesome.
12:42We really kind of bonded with each other
12:44and, you know, just getting to know each other's feelings and stuff.
12:48Sometimes you can be very secure.
12:49But then you enter the modeling industry,
12:51and it creates all these insecurities that you never had.
12:53So we're just going to kind of address all that type of stuff tonight.
12:56Is there anybody in you guys' life that, um,
12:58you feel like doesn't believe in you?
13:01I think we all have somebody.
13:03My family, like, in unison,
13:05they really, really don't think that I can do anything.
13:08My mom, she found out that I was going to New York to do this.
13:12Uh, she was like,
13:13she's like, oh, come on, be realistic.
13:15You're not gonna get far.
13:16Automatically, my whole family's like,
13:18you are so stupid.
13:19My whole life, I've been shot down.
13:21And my mom is always like,
13:22who do you think you are?
13:23I mean, I just,
13:24beauty's never been, like, a thing in my house.
13:26It's interesting to me, though, like,
13:27like how moms can be,
13:29and everybody's mama sometimes.
13:30As much as we love them,
13:31sometimes it's like,
13:32you don't realize you're making me more insecure than I am.
13:35This is something I want to pursue.
13:37I want to be in the industry.
13:39Nobody knows I'm here,
13:40besides the people I live with at home.
13:42My mother doesn't know I'm here.
13:43Nobody knows.
13:44I am in school,
13:45and I'll be the first one to graduate in my family with a degree.
13:48I mean, my life at home wasn't,
13:50I don't know,
13:50sometimes I just get depressed about being at home.
13:52I'm happy to be here,
13:54and, I mean, I wish I could stay here, you know, forever.
13:57Robin, what about you?
13:57Any insecurities?
13:59Not fitting into a model,
14:00like, typical model mode or whatever.
14:02I have nothing to be ashamed of.
14:04You know, I embrace every curve that is on my body.
14:07If more women do,
14:09then, you know,
14:09we wouldn't have problems like bulimia and anorexia,
14:12and, you know, things like that,
14:13making women feel insecure.
14:14And I think that that's the reason why I'm still here.
14:17What about you, Lise?
14:18Any new insecurities being here?
14:19Suddenly here I am, and I'm too skinny.
14:21So I kind of, I alternate between, like,
14:25you know, cram in a couple extra bites of food,
14:27let's change it,
14:28and, like, come on, Lise, you know,
14:31stop eating when you're not hungry anymore.
14:33I really feel angry or sad.
14:35Um, it kind of,
14:37it makes me feel a little bit angry.
14:38It doesn't make me feel sad.
14:39But I do, I feel really confused.
14:42So even more than somebody telling you,
14:44you know, you need to lose or gain or, you know,
14:46whatever it may be,
14:47it's being at work and seeing,
14:49oh, my God,
14:50I have never in my life seen a woman that beautiful.
14:52And that's where the insecurity starts coming in.
14:55All right, let's have a nice hug around the camera.
14:56Oh, there's a little heat wave going on here.
14:59Oh, God.
15:00Wave a fart.
15:02Giselle coined the term heat wave
15:04as a euphemism for farts,
15:06which I think thus far is her major contribution to society.
15:09You know, I'll make a confession.
15:10When we stood up,
15:11I made the tiniest little fart just now.
15:13Oh, my God.
15:14It was so tiny.
15:15We had a nice little publicity interview challenge
15:26in Central Park.
15:28Hi, ladies.
15:29I'm Steve Santagotti,
15:30and I am a working member of the press.
15:32Today, I am going to be conducting
15:34your publicity challenge.
15:35It's going to take the form of a television interview.
15:39We want real sound bites.
15:41We want you to be vulnerable.
15:42We want you to tell us
15:43what you really think about things.
15:45The days of canned performances
15:46and canned interviews are over.
15:49I'm going to take each of you for a ride
15:50for about 15 minutes in the carriage here,
15:52and I'm going to talk to you.
15:53The two winners will have
15:54one of their loved ones flown in.
15:56I just want my boyfriend
15:56to hang out with me a little bit.
15:57That's what I've really been missing.
15:59I will definitely go for it.
16:00I miss my boyfriend a lot.
16:02Who wants to be first?
16:04Okay.
16:04I mean, everybody wanted their boyfriends to come.
16:07I want my mom to come.
16:08Why do you want to be a model?
16:11I'm a real big tomboy,
16:12and I love them transforming me into a woman.
16:17In my life, I strive for perfection,
16:19and my religion teaches me that.
16:20Everything that I try to do,
16:21I try to make sure that it's morally correct.
16:23I'm like, I'm real sassy, but classy.
16:26Never drank, never smoked,
16:27and I'm still a virgin.
16:28I would think that you're going to have a hard time
16:30being a model and being a Christian.
16:32Well, that's your opinion, but I can do it.
16:34If I set my mind to something, I can do it.
16:35Sex.
16:37Sex.
16:37First time, how old were you?
16:39I think I was, like, 16.
16:41You're still a virgin.
16:42My sexual preference and my sexual experience,
16:45I'm a lady, and I, you know,
16:46would like to keep that safe.
16:47Why?
16:48No skeletons in your closet.
16:49I go to school.
16:50I'm a full-time student.
16:51I remember everything Miss Cindy said,
16:53and I, you know, was very, you know,
16:56vague on a lot of things.
16:57Is there anything you won't model?
16:58I won't model nude.
17:00All right, what if I offered you $20,000?
17:02Nope.
17:02$100,000.
17:03A million, a trillion, I wouldn't.
17:05Adrienne, what's the most important thing to you in life?
17:07My mom.
17:08Your mom?
17:09Why is that?
17:10Because I love her so much,
17:12and she's helped me so much
17:13with trying to get into modeling.
17:15Like, we've been ripped off a lot.
17:17By who?
17:17Modeling scams, searches.
17:19What's up?
17:20Hi.
17:20Hey.
17:21You must be cold.
17:22Uh, yeah.
17:23One thing that I did in my interview
17:25that I think might not have been very good
17:27is I did say negative things about the other girls.
17:29I think Giselle is very immature.
17:32Adrienne is the worst listener I've ever encountered.
17:35And I think Robin and Shannon
17:36are a little bit proselytizing.
17:37And actually, Kizzy,
17:38I don't have anything negative to say about Kizzy.
17:40She's great.
17:41What do you think about all this religion?
17:43I've talked to so many of the women today.
17:45How does that fit in here?
17:46I think that it will be more of a hindrance
17:49to the strong Christians
17:50than it will be an advantage to them.
17:52And I mean,
17:53they've already expressed discomfort
17:54with homosexuality and with nudity.
17:57How do you feel about nudity?
17:58I'm completely comfortable with nudity.
18:00I'm an EMT, and I've worked a lot in medicine.
18:03And so I just look at it like,
18:05you know,
18:05does somebody really want to see
18:06the fat and glands hanging out of my chest?
18:08If they do, that's fine with me.
18:09I just feel like, you know,
18:10no one's that perfect.
18:12No one's that together.
18:13Right, right, right.
18:14Well, you met Robin again.
18:19All right, you guys.
18:20Now, first of all,
18:21the truth is you all did a good job.
18:23My decision is based on my experience
18:26from interviewing everybody
18:27from firemen to Jennifer Lopez.
18:30Adrian, I thought you were very real.
18:32Robin.
18:32Your religion is on your sleeve.
18:35And there's a couple other ones,
18:36a couple other that Christian people,
18:37I have no problem with religions at all.
18:39But you become one-dimensional.
18:41I thought you were very bubbly and fun.
18:44You were a lot of fun,
18:45and my decision was very, very difficult to make.
18:48Giselle, you were great too
18:50because you don't let me get away with anything.
18:51Kizzy, very motivated person.
18:54Elise, you're my winner,
18:55and I'm going to tell you why.
18:57You did things
18:58that you should never do in interviews.
19:00You talked about other people.
19:02You were outspoken.
19:03You said things that you shouldn't say.
19:05You were very personal.
19:07Those are all things
19:08that are textbook wrong in an interview.
19:11But they work because it's real,
19:14and that's who you are.
19:15My opinion is,
19:16is that's where things should go.
19:17He chooses Elise
19:18because she totally went
19:20against everything in the book.
19:21I guess that's good for him
19:22because he can get a story out of her.
19:24Whatever.
19:24So there's going to be two winners, okay?
19:27You're one,
19:28and you have to pick the other one.
19:38Adrienne.
19:39Adrienne, got it.
19:40Come on, come on, baby!
19:43That just blesses me so much
19:44to let her mother come somewhere.
19:46Um, she may not have been able to.
19:48She, um, didn't have this opportunity.
19:50To come to New York, Adrienne!
19:52That's so cool.
19:54I'm just so happy
19:55that I got this opportunity
19:57to ever come out here
19:58because she ain't never seen
19:59in Times Square or nothing.
20:03Hell, you are gay!
20:12Oh, hey, there's Tyra Mail.
20:15Tomorrow, you will have
20:16your fifth photo shoot.
20:17Please be ready by 8.15 a.m.
20:20I wonder if my mom could meet Tyra.
20:22Do you think she would meet my mom?
20:24I was very disappointed
20:26that I couldn't bring anybody.
20:28Are you excited to see Marty?
20:31Yeah, on the same note,
20:32I'm like,
20:32I don't want him to see me like this, man.
20:35Especially tomorrow.
20:36What's tomorrow?
20:37Our photo shoot.
20:38They're not going to let him come.
20:40It makes me feel good
20:40that my boyfriend's going to come out,
20:42but at the same time,
20:43I feel bad that
20:43he has to see me like this
20:45because I think that this
20:46being here,
20:47being around these girls,
20:48being in this situation
20:49has brought out
20:50the absolute worst
20:50to my personality.
20:52I need to build
20:53some frickin' confidence.
20:55How do I do that?
20:57You get out of puberty?
21:07Knock, knock!
21:09Where is everybody?
21:11Hey, now!
21:12We're going for a swim.
21:14Okay, five minutes
21:15and get a bathing suit.
21:16Is it chlorine water?
21:17It's probably chlorine.
21:18Usually in pools,
21:19it's chlorine,
21:20so you'll have to do
21:21your hair later.
21:23I love to swim
21:30and I was so excited
21:31that we got to get in the pool.
21:33Come on, bring it back now.
21:35I was also disappointed
21:36in the other girls
21:37being so against
21:38getting their hair wet.
21:39Calvin, get your head down!
21:42You gotta get all the way under.
21:47Hey, you're getting there.
21:48The star today's swimming
21:52probably was Elise
21:52because she has been able
21:54to keep up with the groove
21:55and actually push.
21:56Not just keep up,
21:57but push.
21:58She's showing that
21:59she probably doesn't have
22:00an eating disorder.
22:08Today we're at Pair 59 Studios
22:10and we're shooting
22:11an ad for Reebok.
22:13The emphasis is on
22:14athleticism and motion.
22:15Can I have the chicas
22:16right here, please?
22:18So today,
22:19what we are working on
22:20at this photo shoot today
22:21is movement.
22:23No matter how fine
22:24you are as a model,
22:25no matter how good you look,
22:27if you can't move,
22:28you cannot work.
22:29We're going to put on some music
22:30and see how well
22:30you can model dance.
22:31And remember,
22:32model dancing is not...
22:34Model dancing is...
22:35Making sure you
22:37capture those moments.
22:39And we have
22:40a little special somebody
22:41that is going to accompany
22:42you in the pictures
22:42so we can evaluate
22:43how well you pose
22:45with another subject.
22:46He is the running back
22:47for the Denver Broncos
22:48and he is the rookie
22:49of the year.
22:51His name is Clinton Portis.
22:52Come on out here.
22:53He's going to be
22:54very sexified.
22:55Today, the photographer
22:56is super fierce.
22:57I've shot with him
22:58and he has done
22:59some of the most beautiful
22:59pictures of my whole career.
23:01And his name is
23:03Daniel Garriga.
23:04What's going on, bro?
23:05I'm sorry.
23:05I need an eagle.
23:06You want to be an eagle?
23:07You can make her
23:08whatever you want, baby.
23:11We come in here
23:12and we get these
23:12little jerseys
23:13and then the designers
23:15like rip them apart
23:16and put shoestrings in them.
23:17Completely deconstruct this
23:19to make it look sexy.
23:24My eye makeup,
23:25I think,
23:26is supposed to
23:26vaguely symbolize
23:27the makeup of a football player.
23:31I was a little nervous
23:35to go first
23:36so I just get confused.
23:38I mean,
23:38if it really sucks,
23:38it's just fine.
23:39I usually like to women
23:40so don't,
23:41don't worry.
23:42Giselle,
23:42she wants people
23:43to tell her
23:43how wonderful she is,
23:45how beautiful she is.
23:46I feel like I'm doing
23:46too much dancer
23:47and not model
23:48because a lot of dancing
23:49is showing through this.
23:50I don't feel like
23:51the model part
23:52is coming through.
23:53Giselle's a great model.
23:54She's obviously a dancer.
23:54so you can see it
23:55in her poses.
23:56Way more than three.
23:57Yeah, we got it.
23:57We got it.
23:57Great, we're done.
23:59It was beautiful.
24:01Take it a little bit.
24:02Don't look.
24:02Don't turn too much
24:03because I won't see your face.
24:06I tend to be a little stiff
24:07with dance moves
24:07because I can't really dance yet,
24:09but I'm learning.
24:10I think now Shannon,
24:11she has potential.
24:11You know,
24:12she's not a dancer,
24:12so she's not as flexible
24:13and she's not as funky
24:15as the first one.
24:16It's not a lot of movement,
24:17but it's really,
24:18she looks like a million dollars.
24:19I'm ready, sweetie.
24:20With this,
24:25this is more,
24:26you know.
24:29Face, okay?
24:30Face.
24:30She's a great looking girl,
24:31but she looks better
24:31in pictures in real life.
24:32That's what a model should be.
24:37Focus on you.
24:38Like,
24:39just move,
24:39move with him.
24:42It just seemed
24:43kind of difficult,
24:44Clinton.
24:45He was like trying
24:45to say stuff,
24:46you know what I'm saying?
24:46Like, it was like a distraction.
24:47Don't focus on him so much.
24:49Okay.
24:49Focus on you.
24:50Like,
24:51just move,
24:52move with him.
24:53Come on, Robin,
24:54put your back in.
24:58My boyfriend
24:58has never seen me model before.
25:00Not that I really do
25:01a lot of modeling
25:01in Albuquerque,
25:02but even if I did,
25:02I don't think
25:03I would ever invite him along.
25:10Ivanka!
25:12Mama!
25:15I turn around.
25:19I'm a mom,
25:20I'm going to stay in there.
25:21I'm going to stay in there.
25:31I'm crying.
25:32At least don't cry
25:33on that makeup now.
25:34Don't forget,
25:35cry without the makeup,
25:36honey.
25:37Just sitting around,
25:38I don't know.
25:38I'm going to see you guys
25:39get the whole talk.
25:40Like, one for you.
25:41It was so romantic
25:42and so loving.
25:43Like, he just gave her a hug
25:44and started kissing her
25:45and didn't care
25:45who was around.
25:47He just was, like,
25:47totally focused on her.
25:49I told Marty to stay behind
25:56the partitions
25:56and not to watch me,
25:57but during the shoot,
25:58I looked over
25:59and, of course,
25:59he was watching anyway.
26:00Hey, can you put your leg up higher?
26:07It's good to see you're doing it.
26:08It seems like a natural in it.
26:10Elise is my favorite,
26:11without a doubt.
26:12If I have a big job tomorrow,
26:13I will book her
26:14because she's just got it.
26:16Grease me that I killed my mama.
26:19Guys, we need some music here, please.
26:21Music?
26:21Adriana is, overall,
26:29is a great model.
26:30She's beautiful.
26:30She had a great face.
26:32She's very athletic.
26:37I can't believe, actually,
26:39I gave birth to such a beautiful human being.
26:44Thank you so much.
26:46Alright, guys, that's a wrap.
26:51This is your section?
26:55Uh-huh.
26:55This is cool.
26:57This is my bed.
26:58Welcome here, Mom.
26:59Beautiful.
27:01You belong in Tokyo.
27:03I really miss my mom,
27:05and it kicks ass to have her here.
27:07Like, a lot of ass.
27:09Mom, I want to be
27:10America's next top mom.
27:12Wow.
27:12We've lost how much money.
27:15I haven't lost a thing.
27:17Um, remember,
27:18we got ripped off
27:19because of pictures,
27:20and we got ripped off
27:21at the modeling services.
27:21Eight grand.
27:22This would be, like,
27:23the biggest break
27:24we've ever had in our lives.
27:25Don't say we.
27:26It's your...
27:27Well, it's me,
27:28but I'm going to pay off
27:29your bills, woman.
27:30Would you stop it?
27:32I'm almost ready
27:33if you guys want to.
27:35Sit down.
27:36How's he?
27:37It tastes delicious
27:38because we made it
27:39with our own hands.
27:40What do you want?
27:40What do you want?
27:40I think I want spaghetti.
27:41What do you want?
27:42Robin.
27:43Stayed in her room.
27:44That was the rudest,
27:46most uncouth thing to do.
27:48Obviously,
27:49she wasn't well-raised,
27:50you know?
27:51Hey, when you're done
27:52getting that, uh,
27:53pasta,
27:53pass it down
27:54to some American kids.
27:55You want some fish, girl?
27:56Fish.
27:57I don't know
27:57what's going on
27:58with Elise,
27:59with her eating.
28:01The eating disorder nonsense
28:02is ridiculous.
28:04Elise is the person
28:04that right after
28:05we've finished eating
28:06already wants to go
28:07to an ice cream cone
28:08and have Kit Kat.
28:10Uh-oh,
28:10did you guys read this already?
28:13This is Tyra Mail.
28:14This is our doom.
28:15Tomorrow,
28:17five of you
28:17will continue on
28:18to become
28:18America's Next Top Model.
28:19One of you
28:20will be eliminated.
28:22I'm going home,
28:23but I told him,
28:24yeah,
28:24I told my boyfriend
28:25that I was going home
28:25this weekend
28:26with tomorrow's outcome.
28:28Pray that I stay here, man.
28:29I thought that seeing Marty
28:42might make being here
28:43a little bit harder
28:43and being away from
28:44a little bit more stressful,
28:46but now that I've seen him,
28:47I feel so much better.
28:48I'm really glad
28:48I got the chance to.
28:49I'm glad you got to
28:50see my digs.
28:57Thanks for coming, Mom.
28:59I love you.
29:00I'm going to win.
29:01Good.
29:02Good luck.
29:02I love you, Mom.
29:03I love you, too.
29:04My mother reminded me
29:05of the reasons
29:06that I wanted to win,
29:07so I have a lot more drive
29:10like than before.
29:12Bye, honey, Bonnie.
29:13I love you, Mom.
29:14I love you, too.
29:16Bye, Mom.
29:17I'll call you
29:18after I'm not eliminated.
29:25When is this elimination
29:26going to be?
29:27This is madness.
29:29I hope none of them
29:30from the diva suite
29:30can move in here
29:31and feel so bad for them
29:32if they do, like Shannon.
29:34Thanks, diva.
29:36I'm always nervous
29:36for every elimination.
29:38You've got to be ready.
29:39You've got to be prepared
29:39for the worst or the best.
29:42I'm just hoping and praying
29:44that I'm not the one
29:45to get eliminated today.
29:49Welcome, ladies.
29:50It's been another challenging week
29:52towards becoming
29:52America's next top model.
29:54Now, this week,
29:54you got your first taste
29:55of what it's like
29:56for a top model
29:57to be living in the public eye.
29:58You've had publicity lessons.
30:00You've interviewed
30:01with top journalists.
30:02And you even got to photograph
30:04with a top football star.
30:05But now it's time
30:06to make our fifth cut.
30:07The winner will receive
30:08a Revlon contract,
30:09a contract with
30:10Will and Meenet Models, Inc.,
30:12and a fashion spread
30:13in Marie Claire.
30:14And once again,
30:14we have our panel
30:15of expert judges
30:16that have week by week
30:18judged you.
30:18First, we have
30:19Janice Dickinson,
30:20one of the first supermodels.
30:22And we have Bo Quillian,
30:23the fashion editor
30:24of Marie Claire.
30:25Camoralee Simmons,
30:26the creative director
30:26and owner of BabyFat Fashions.
30:28And last but not least,
30:30Steve Santagotti,
30:31who conducted your interviews.
30:34We'll bring you in one by one
30:35for individual analysis.
30:37After that,
30:37the judges will deliberate.
30:39We'll call you back in,
30:40and we'll make our elimination.
30:42We've randomly drawn names.
30:44And Robin, you're first.
30:45All right, Robin.
30:47Now it's time
30:48for your individual evaluation.
30:49So I have two tough
30:50questions for you today.
30:51Why do you think
30:52you should win this competition?
30:53I think that I should
30:54win this competition
30:55not for the obvious reasons,
30:56which is fame and fortune.
30:57But I'm looking at it
30:58for the power
30:59that it can give to me
31:00to use as a platform
31:01to be an influence
31:02on someone's life.
31:04I sort of break stereotypes
31:05on both sides
31:06of sort of the two worlds
31:08I inhabit,
31:08which is a nerdy person
31:10who is attractive physically
31:13and also a model
31:14who is intelligent.
31:15I think that, uh,
31:16I'm putting a little spice
31:18in the industry.
31:19I'm willing to, um,
31:21stay strong.
31:21I don't think that
31:22temptations in the modeling world
31:24I can be easily persuaded.
31:25I feel I should win
31:26this competition
31:26because I have
31:27the personality for it.
31:28I am right now
31:29building confidence.
31:31Yes, I am.
31:31It's been a dream of mine,
31:33you know, for a long time.
31:34I deserve to be happy
31:35at least once in my life.
31:36So who should we eliminate today?
31:37Whatever person that, uh,
31:39God puts on your heart
31:39to eliminate.
31:40I would kick out Robin.
31:41Like her religion,
31:42recently even more so
31:43than when I first met her,
31:44has really hampered her
31:45in being inhibited.
31:46Robin or Shannon,
31:47just because their face
31:48might interfere
31:49with their business.
31:51Elise.
31:52I think this time
31:53she's struggling
31:53through unhealthy eating habits
31:56and that could
31:57harm her in the future.
31:58I don't want to be
31:59the one to judge.
32:00Elise,
32:00because I'm very worried
32:02about her health.
32:02I don't think I can give you
32:03an answer.
32:04I really don't want to
32:05give an answer.
32:06I honestly don't.
32:07Because I just pray
32:08that at the end of the day
32:08I'm still here.
32:10You had a movement shoot
32:11and we picked up
32:12your best photo
32:13and here it is.
32:14What do you think about it?
32:15Honestly,
32:16I'm looking at him
32:17and I was thinking,
32:18you know,
32:18do people really like
32:19go through this?
32:19You know,
32:20like working with other people.
32:21Was he talking about
32:21your booty or something?
32:22He was lusting.
32:23Doesn't mean that you have
32:24to go to bed with him later.
32:25Right.
32:25Doesn't mean you have
32:25to give him your number.
32:26But if somebody's saying damn,
32:27it just means you're doing great.
32:28I like it a lot.
32:30You look like a gazelle
32:31from the American Ballet Theater.
32:32I love this photograph.
32:34She looks like a pro.
32:35She is a pro.
32:35I talked to him a little bit
32:36before we started
32:37and I asked him,
32:38I really want to try to use you.
32:40I think maybe
32:40he responded to that
32:41a little bit.
32:42I love the fact
32:42that he's engaged.
32:44Yeah.
32:44He's all into you.
32:46That's fantastic.
32:47But I don't think
32:47you look a little bit thin.
32:48I just would have
32:48covered your arms.
32:49Oh, please.
32:50Wow, look at my muscle.
32:52I think it's a wonderful photo,
32:54a wonderful example
32:55of artistic expression.
32:56I thought it was really cool
32:57that you were able
32:58to model with your mom there.
32:59I can do it now,
33:00but in the beginning,
33:01I could not have my mom
33:02look at me or anything.
33:03I was like,
33:04Mama, get out the room.
33:05What do you think?
33:06I like it.
33:07There's nothing wrong
33:09with this picture.
33:09It's everything right.
33:11I love that photograph.
33:12Yeah, it's great.
33:13This picture is hot,
33:14which means that
33:14there's a lot more
33:15hotness in you,
33:16but it was difficult
33:17getting it out of you.
33:18I'll work on that.
33:21Well, it definitely shows
33:22that I've had some training.
33:24This photograph is surreal.
33:25It's that good.
33:26How high can you
33:27get off the floor?
33:29It is amazing.
33:30One thing about
33:30the confidence thing,
33:32I have to be honest,
33:33I heard you walk off the set
33:34and what you were doing,
33:35you were fishing
33:36for a compliment.
33:39She's doing this.
33:40Give me the compliment.
33:42All women fish for compliments.
33:45I like it.
33:46I like how you look
33:46young but sexy.
33:47This looks like
33:48she escaped
33:48from a mental institution.
33:50This is the worst photograph
33:51I've ever seen.
33:52You look deranged.
33:53Your arms look amputeed.
33:55Your legs look amputeed.
33:56And it looks like
33:57you have a penis.
33:58I'm sorry.
33:59I think it's a door punt.
34:00I think it's crazy
34:02like what a likeness
34:03you are to Tyra.
34:04That face looks like Tyra
34:05to me.
34:05All right.
34:06There it is.
34:08Who are we gonna cut this week?
34:10Let's just call it as it is.
34:11Robin, first of all,
34:12is too old
34:13to be starting a model.
34:15She's huge.
34:15She's not going
34:16to be a top model.
34:17She won't.
34:18She should work
34:18for a car toppling company.
34:20I think that you guys
34:20are the problem
34:21with America.
34:22I think you are the problem
34:23of why women
34:23are leaning over the toilets
34:24at this very moment
34:25and vomiting
34:26after they've eaten
34:27or taking laxatives
34:28after they've eaten.
34:29The full-figured market
34:30is changing.
34:31Okay.
34:32Shannon.
34:33Shannon doesn't impress me
34:34sometimes so much in person
34:35but she comes up
34:36well on film.
34:37I think she could be
34:38a top model
34:38without a doubt.
34:39I love Adrienne's photographs.
34:41I think she keeps
34:43getting better and better
34:44each week, I think.
34:45But the tone of her speech
34:46answering Steve's questions
34:48really made me
34:49want to cringe.
34:50In.
34:51In.
34:51Kizzy, I would say
34:52on the interview level,
34:53she talks, she speaks well.
34:55You should have seen her
34:55when she first came in.
34:56She's actually grown.
34:58Giselle, for me,
34:59is the best mover.
35:00When I look at Giselle's
35:01pictures, I see a dancer.
35:03I think that her
35:04lack of confidence
35:05is just something
35:06she's putting out there
35:06but I think the way
35:07she moves here
35:08is by far
35:09the moves of a confident woman.
35:12Out.
35:12In.
35:13Elise is not
35:14personally my type of girl.
35:16The eating disorder thing
35:17is just a strong,
35:18strong issue for me.
35:19drop the eating disorder.
35:20That's hearsay.
35:21She's extremely thin
35:22which is what a haute couture
35:23model needs
35:24but it doesn't have to be
35:25America's quest
35:26for the prettiest
35:27anorexic either.
35:28There's girls
35:29that look like this
35:30that are superstars.
35:31I agree.
35:32Linda Evangelista
35:33was a rail.
35:34Come on.
35:35Linda Evangelista
35:36was never a rail.
35:36Kate Moss
35:37with her swiggy.
35:38Kate, it's unbelievable
35:39what's going on here.
35:40I just, I'm seeing it.
35:41It's unbelievable.
35:47There are six of you
35:48standing in front of me
35:49but I only have five photos
35:52in my hands
35:54and these five photos
35:56represent the five of you
35:58that are still in the running
35:59to becoming America's
36:00next top model.
36:02Adrienne.
36:07Congratulations.
36:09You're still in the running
36:10towards becoming
36:11America's next top model.
36:13Kissy.
36:14Congratulations.
36:15Shannon.
36:19Beauty does not make
36:20a top model.
36:21Not just beauty.
36:23You have to learn
36:24how to move.
36:26It is so important.
36:28Congratulations.
36:31Robin.
36:33We don't want to see you
36:34on your high horse
36:35and showing the world
36:36how great you are.
36:38Show the world
36:38how human you are.
36:41Congratulations.
36:42You're still in the running
36:43towards becoming
36:43America's next top model.
36:45Will Giselle and Elyse
36:47please step forward?
36:51My entire attitude
36:51toward this competition
36:52has been pretty fatalistic
36:53but at the same time
36:55I think it is embarrassing
36:56to be eliminated
36:57and I don't want it
36:57to happen to me.
36:58Elyse, you're an
36:59intelligent woman
37:00which is an amazing trait
37:02especially being
37:03in the fashion industry
37:04where the stereotype
37:05is that models are stupid.
37:07It's important to not
37:08be on this
37:10I'm so better
37:10than everybody else
37:11kind of attitude.
37:12It only makes people
37:12not like you
37:13and it only makes people
37:14not appreciate
37:14your intelligence.
37:16I'm nervous
37:17once again
37:18I really
37:20I just
37:20I really don't want
37:21to get eliminated
37:21I'm enjoying myself
37:22so much.
37:24Giselle
37:24again we talk
37:25about your confidence.
37:27During the photo shoot
37:27I thought you were
37:28actually the best
37:30in terms of movement
37:31but you walked off the stage
37:33and you said
37:34I think I messed up
37:36because I think
37:37I look more like
37:38a dancer
37:39than a model
37:40and you made
37:42my mind change.
37:44Congratulations Elyse.
37:45I just knew that
37:49it was my time
37:50to go.
37:58Britney Spears
37:59did star search
38:00and she lost
38:01and look at where
38:01she's at now
38:02so I may
38:03I mean
38:03I don't consider myself
38:04a loser
38:04it sucks
38:06that I'm going to go
38:07from all this
38:08to back home
38:08where it's normal.
38:11My mom
38:12and I
38:12she's going to
38:13rub it in my face
38:13so that'll probably
38:14be the only thing.
38:16I'm going to feel
38:17crappy
38:17because if I'm
38:21coming home
38:21it's because
38:21obviously
38:22I didn't do
38:23so well here.
38:40Stay tuned
38:41for scenes
38:41from our next episode.
38:45Coming up
38:46on America's
38:46Next Top Model
38:47Oh my word
38:48The girls take on
38:49the fashion capital
38:50of the world
38:51and cramped quarters
38:52create contempt.
38:53I'm going to get
38:54no clothes on.
38:54How do you say
38:55Adrian has enormous
38:56chachas?
38:57I don't speak like that.
38:58I don't act like that.
38:59And at a sexy photo shoot
39:00Shannon gets the
39:01surprise of her life.
39:03Oh my word
