00:12Telesur presented the book this Friday.
00:15This work showcases the multi-platforms two-decade journey of news coverage, establishing itself
00:20as the voice and image of Latin America and the Global South.
00:24During his speech and analysis of the book, Minister of Communication and Culture, Freddy
00:29Ñáñez, emphasized that Telesur has fought to combat hegemony and reveal the truth about
00:34what is happening in the world since its inception.
00:45Publishing a book was like entering a completely unknown universe, and we took on this challenge,
00:51also thinking that what we see as normal might be interesting to others, that there is actually
00:57a lesson to be learned from the Telesur experience, our own, of course, but one that can also
01:03be useful to others.
01:05Today, there may be only one Telesur as a brand, but there are also many Telesurs today.
01:12In other words, the channel has inspired a lot of communication initiatives, and inspires
01:18a vision about the facts that is present in the growth of small communication enterprises.
