00:24In one night, Telesur brought together the spirit of two decades of work symbolized by artists on stage through culture, dance, movement, and rhythms.
00:37Today, more than ever, we say, it's time for a new world to be born. Let's begin.
00:43More than 100 artists from Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Venezuela took the stage.
00:49It's a kind of mix that points toward the virtue of that variety, of that diversity, united in the great family.
01:00But it points toward those colors, rhythms, those vibrations that come from all parts of our continent.
01:09In the legendary Teatro Municipal de Caracas, there was a moment for the priva ballerina and director of the Cuban National Ballet to shine.
01:16The moment we all feel as one, sharing the same principle, the same ideal, culture becomes something that belongs to everyone.
01:27It's not something that separates countries, but something we share, something we offer, something we deliver with great gladness.
01:37Cuban drums, Bolivia and Diablada, Argentinian Chacarera, and other rhythms demonstrated that diversity is a meeting point.
01:43An important moment for the people of the South to reunite, to look at one another and recognize one another as one nation that contains the thoughts of liberation and self-determination.
01:59A spectacle that showcases our American identity, and where we can see the spirit of truth in our people.
02:04So, by celebrating Telesur, we celebrate Latin America, the entire global South, we celebrate truth, we celebrate poetry.
02:11Venezuelan authorities and delegations from countries in the global South highlighted the role of Telesur in connecting the realities of the peoples of the world.
02:22We are very excited, first of all for being invited, for being here with so many groups from different countries to pay this tribute with what we do, which in the case of our company is the art of dancing.

02:41I hope they can do things like this, to produce shows like that, not just news.
02:48I think they've united Latin America in a single theater.
02:53It was a reaffirmation that culture and communication cannot be separated.
02:57There is an inseparable triad, which is education, communication, and culture.

03:15In this case, we participate in a culture sharing paradigm.
03:20We do not support an exclusively protective paradigm for which it is enough to have a vault, a castle, a monastery to safeguard expressions of art and culture.
03:39Dot, locked away like a treasure, which they are.
03:45So we believe that culture is not complete if it is not shared, if it is not communicated.
03:53The event ended with a love song, Infinito Sur, or Infinite South, a tribute to Telesur's 20 years of struggle, an anthem to the birth of a new world.
